4.5 rounding up to 5 stars! My kids are 4 and 2 and absolutely loved this place. My daughter just barely is more than 32 inches and so she was able to ride almost all the rides! If they are under 32 inches though there is not too much for them to do just so you know. My kids were able to walk on just about every ride which is huge for them since they are little, they don't always have the patience to wait in lines. Despite the fact it was not super busy it was well staffed. I think this is an awesome place to take young kids. It's a fun way to get into the Christmas spirit and definitely geared right toward those kids that are still young enough to believe in Santa. Some things I thought were cool about this place where the theme, like one ride was a Christmas tree where you rode around the Christmas tree inside of ornaments, the zip line is setup to look like Santas sleigh, or how the north pole was frozen and covered in ice. One thing that I have heard is that they have military discount for example, but I do not see this as an option when buying the tickets in advance off their website. Season Passes available for $75 I would definitely bring the kids back. This should definitely be on the bucket list for kids in Colorado! Fun fact: The ferris wheel is the highest ferris wheel by elevation in the whole world!

Christmnas is my favorite holiday and when you can celebrate it any time of the year I'm in. It's a great place to take your family. There are so many rides and attractions for all ages. We went during the week in December and there were a lot of families. Plenty of shopping and some places to eat as well. And we couldn't resist stopping in to see Santa.

The North Pole has been around for a long while now, and while I don't know when it first opened its doors to visitors, I DO know that I enjoyed visiting as a little kid back in the early 90s (so it's been a minute). If you also grew up coming here you can rest assured that it mostly has stayed the same. You can still visit Santa, ride tons of smaller amusement park rides for little kids, and enjoy some time outdoors in the mountains. If you aren't familiar with this place it's a must top location for little kids aged 2-8. The rides are the right level for kiddos, there's tons to do, and it captures that magic of still believing in Santa Claus. They've changed ticketing over the years but on our last visit you could buy an unlimited wristband or pay per ride. We did a mix and bought a few single use tickets and two unlimited bands so that I could go on a few rides with our older daughter, but I primarily held the baby and let our five year old enjoy herself. I think if I asked my daughter how to rate this she'd say five stars with no hesitation, but I'd like to note that with it being so dated there were some parts that had seemed worn down, and the gift shop could be updated a bit. Overall though, this is still a great family friendly spot that I think is well worth the money and the visit if you have little kids.

Recently took my two daughters to the North Pole/Santa's workshop and we spent the entire day there. My daughters are five and seven years old and they were able to ride so many rides by themselves and just a few needed an adult to accompany them. They have plenty of different types of rides and arcade and other activities for the children to keep them busy! They offer season passes for an extremely affordable price which we plan to get at the start of next year Highly recommended for children 4 to 10 years old!

This is the first time I've returned to the North Pole since covid. Maybe even longer than that. I've always enjoyed this theme park and it's on a beautiful piece of property about fifteen miles west of Colorado Springs. The parking, even on a Saturday was plentiful. The gift shop is always fun and the overall ambiance is wonderful. It's on a mountainside so the walkways can be quite steep and wheelchairs etc would not function safely. It's a bit pricey from the gift shop to the concessions. That's my only real gripe with this place. Children love this place and it's a romantic place to take a date,

Free admission, you just have to pay for the rides. Visited this place after our trip to Pikes Peak, it's so fun to visit a Christmas themed park during summer. There's many different shops and foods to explore. Every corner of the park is packed with amazing stores selling everything related to Christmas. The souvenir shops are decently priced and staffs are very friendly. Hope to get there during Christmas.

Terrible useless fat lazy management horrible bland food hamburgers are sometimes raw. The only good thing is the hot dogs when it works which is rare and shitty old rusty unsafe rides. Some terrible inclines that are hard to walk or impossible to go up if in a wheelchair so the place was poorly designed and improved little to none.

I hedged on deciding whether or not to stop after visiting Pikes Peak. Glad I decided to visit! Visiting Santa's Workshop was a pleasant experience. I like that there was plenty of parking, front entrance is within reasonable walking distance, no entrance fee today and staff was very friendly. This is a great place to bring the kids. An ideal family venture. There are rides for the kids, concession stand, candy shop and souvenir shops. I enjoyed visiting the chapel. Cozy and quaint. Take your time to read information posted on the walls. I also love the location of this place and it's been around since 1956! The location is such a perfect alpine setting nestled next to the side of the mountains. The walking pathways in the park aren't flat. You will be walking inclines and declines. Plan accordingly. Especially weather permitting. Overall, good experience here. I enjoyed it. I may return closer to the holidays. The best thing is, never knew this place existed until today. Again, recommended for family. Great venue to spend with the kids and grandkids.

It's open all the time and the prices are reasonable. The ice cream was a decent portion and was only a few dollars. There's glass blowing, a theater, hundred-year-old musical machinery, and a ton of rides. We didn't get to spend much time there and only rode the carousel, which is maybe a hundred years old. We'll go back and get the unlimited ride bracelets for the kids.

Cute amusement park with year round Christmas theme. Best for younger children say like 4 years -15 years. Fun for the adults with a few little shops food and location is pretty since it feels like it's in the mountains/forest. Food is nothing spectacular. Standard burger, fries, chicken trendies, funnel cake, pretzels etc. Some of rides are older but the whole place feels nostalgic. Reminiscent of independent smaller amusement park. You can bring your own food in. They have fire pits and you can buy s'mores kits or if your really on top of your game pack in your own.

Amazing I would get Santa a gift Rides were amazing go on the rocketship or the scrambler

The flyer they gave us when we came in but then refused to honor after thunder and lightning closed down the rides.

Been bringing guests and family at least 4-5 times a season for over 40 years. Today they handed out unusual sheets saying "bad weather is expected, if rides close we will issue raincheck promptly". It began to rain pretty heavy with severe weather warnings going off on our phones so as we were leaving we decided to grab 2 rain checks for the ne t time we brought guests in a few weeks. They said that since no rides were closed, they wouldn't be giving refunds. I decided to make the best of it and go back to ride more in the rain (we came prepared). They closed down the slide, ferris wheel, and other rides as we stood in line. I asked the manager why and he told me it was due to lightning in the area. As we walked back into the gift shop, I saw the same manager who had just told me they closed rides for bad weather. I asked for a raincheck and was told that they have to close all rides for 60mins before they will issue a rain check. Even though there was thunder and lightning, The manager was rude about it at what is supposed to be Santa's home. We have bought literally hundreds of tickets over the 40 years we have lived here, but this was enough to wake me up to the fact that these rides are outdated and overpriced at regular price anyway. There are far better things to do in town, much closer, for much less money. This will more than likely be the last trip we take there.

This was very fun for the kids and just a very exciting place to see if you enjoy Christmas. A bit pricey, but to go on every ride it's worth it. Wear good shoes because you'll be walking a lot and going up and down steep walkways the whole time! There is so much to do and see.

Ask the Community - Santa's Workshop - North Pole

Is there open on Christmas Eve 24 December?

1 till 4 pm - 2 easy google, 3 tired of yelp users who are dumb - 4 tired of yelp users fail to post reviews of bad places - or post bad sof good places cause they forgot to bring wallet etc

What age range would you say this park would be for?

My best guess would be 3-10.

Seven Falls started out with a semi-short shuttle ride to the actual scenery. From there, it just got more amazing. I understand how the steps could be strenuous for many, and it definitely wasn't easy, but a little stop to catch your breath is provided about midway through. I saw a couple people who didn't feel up to finishing the steps stopping at the rest point, taking some photos, and coming back down. The views were still stunning from that height. Heck, they're stunning from any height or viewpoint. There was also a little shop with delicious popsicles located before the steps. Clean bathrooms along the way as well. It all just seemed very well-thought-out. This was also partially due to the employees, who were all very helpful and pleasant. To put it simply, Seven Falls has it all-it's beautiful, clean, and unique. Amazing in every aspect, stunning from every angle. I felt immersed in the mountainscape from the first step out of that shuttle.

Finally the bus showed up & it was a 20 minute ride to the falls. Get off the bus, then walk up hill half a mile, then half to walk over 200 steps in order to get to the waterfalls and trails. When you're done, you have to go the opposite direction and do it all over again. They charge $5 a piece for any beverage (water, Gatorade, etc.) and $5 a piece for an ice cream bar. If you get tickets, get them in advance on the website. Afternoon tickets after 1pm are cheaper. You do not have the option to drive to the location yourself & taking the shuttle is a requirement. Overall, not worth the price for the wait and hassle.

It seems like they are only open at night which is awesome because I love going to the park at night as it creates a whole new atmosphere that the day can't match from the sights and sounds you can't really go wrong with a night at the park! Lots of this park is very run down like it really needs some help which made me kinda sad but happy to see it's still in operation if I had the money I'd totally fix it up and keep it nostalgic to its roots like get the roller coaster going and what not! Wild Chipmunk alone was worth the trip here as you don't see many coasters like that being operational anywhere a true gem in the coaster world! Their train ride was awesome too takes you to the edge of the property around the lake making for a long fun ride that we totally loved! They offer all day wristbands or tickets since we only rode a few things we went with the tickets making for a bit of a saver for us money wise so just plan accordingly if you choose this path! And it was made extra special to do it with our family and little ones. We bought the unlimited day pass (ask for a military discount!). More than anyone, my father-in-law and I myself got our fill of the coaster - definitely our favorite ride! I liked it more than the alpine slide because your seat is actually attached to the ride instead of being a sled that could potentially come off (I guess I'm a worrier :P). This thing can go pretty darn fast! But you've got a set of brakes to slow down whenever you want. So customizable and perfect! This is my kind of coast!! Not to the mention the beautiful view all around you the whole time. Kids - different rides have different requirements. Some you have to be 30 pounds, some 30 inches, others 35 inches or 38 inches. My almost three year old is big enough for all. He tried the coaster with my husband and said it made him dizzy (I'm sure my husband took it pretty fast lol). But he loved the alpine slide - enough to ride it twice! For the slide, the break is between your legs. He wanted to hold onto this because it totally made him feel like he was in charge. Little did he know, I was definitely the one controlling it. My son also really enjoyed paying for gold, mini golf and the bounce house. I'm really hoping we visit again next summer so we can come here!

Fun Alpine Slide, but poor communication, long waits, and very poor value…read more I visited Epic Discovery at Breckenridge with my two boys on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. The gondola from town was great, and the Alpine Slide itself was fun once we finally got to do it. Unfortunately, the overall experience was frustrating and did not feel worth the price. The biggest issue was communication. When we got off the gondola at Peak 8, there were employees around, but nobody greeted us or explained where to go. We walked to the Alpine Slide line, waited, and only when we reached the front were told we needed wristbands first. We then had to find the ticketing area, where it was not obvious that we first needed to complete a paper waiver before buying tickets. We bought three-activity wristbands for about $72 per person. After that, we waited again for the Alpine Slide. One of my sons met the height requirement and was wearing closed-toe, closed-heel rubber shoes because of a recent foot injury. Two employees initially tried to tell us the shoes were not allowed, even though they met the posted closed-toe requirement. A supervisor eventually confirmed they were acceptable, but it was frustrating and unnecessary. The chairlift to the top was extremely slow, and once we got there we discovered that only one of the three Alpine Slide tracks was operating. Nobody told us that before we bought tickets, got in line, or boarded the lift. The wait at the top was long, hot, and mostly unshaded, with no water and very little communication. The boys enjoyed the actual Alpine Slide and wanted to ride again, but when we got back down and tried to re-enter the line, we were told it was closing early because of work/surveying being done on the slide. Again, nobody had disclosed that earlier. We then tried to use the wristbands for another activity, but the remaining lines were also long, hot, and unshaded, so we left. For roughly $72 per person, we realistically got one Alpine Slide ride. The activity itself was fun, but the operations, signage, staff communication, and value were disappointing. Breckenridge is priced like a premium experience, but this did not feel like one. I would not recommend Epic Discovery based on this visit.
