There's not really that much to say, I guess. Drinks are cheap, but service is slow. However, when you're not in a hurry to get even more drunk than you already are, what the heck! They have a popcorn machine with free, get-it-yourself pop corn that tastes like gourmet snacks when you're drinking and therefore crazy-hungry. LOL! Karaoke list on Sundays closes at midnight. First time in after grand opening. New bartenders are unfriendly. Was ignored at main bar so the bartender could continue his conversation. New management is unfriendly and unwelcoming. Not the place it used to be. Maybe now that Warren is back. Not very many people here like it used to Just came in (Labor Day). Once again new management ( Jis snobbish and ignores patrons. If it were for people like me they wouldn't be in business. Looking around there are less than 20 people here. Usually on a holiday it's packed. But, then again the only day it seems to be busy is Sundays. Don't think my friends and I will be returning. . Sept 5, 2018... Arrived around 6pm. Parked in handicap parking in front. Was accosted by valet after parking in handicap space that is designated. Valet told me that I had to pay and they have contract. First of all designated handicap spaces are for authorized persons for which I am. He was holding my door preventing me from closing my car door. I went into bartender in the main bar and asked for a manager. He said one wasn't wasn't here. Told them I was going to call police. Still waiting for word about a manager to address this issue. Will be filing a complaint with state, federal and local officials. Also, will be contacting the media regarding this issue. read more

Staff was extremely slow. They need bartenders that can sling drinks and this crew can't keep up. Saw one manager with beard and thick gold chain (know he was manager cuz he had keys and was in and out of office) throw a used drink over the fresh ice bin. WTF. Need health Dept inspection and training I think. Also the mandatory valet is a huge turn off. What's gonna happen when Walmart moves in and they can't park there any longer? read more

Me and my girlfriend were visiting from Indiana and we had complications with our hotel so we didn't get settled until late on a sunday. We decided to go here and LOVED it. Everyone was so friendly and there was karaoke going on. The bartender was attentive and friendly. It wasn't crowded at that time and there were patrons that took time to talk to us and welcome us to Florida. If I'm ever back in the area I will definitely visit again! We love this place! We went on a Thursday night for a couples lesson and had a blast! Normally you get once lesson and then it's open dancing. At scandals, Lee taught three different styles of couple dances throughout the night, which made it super fun. It was a great way to keep everyone involved! My last review was during the prior owner's tenure. This is a review of the current situation. I'm normally a daytime person - i.e., I go out in the afternoon or early evening. Billy, a bartender who has been there for years under the old and the current ownership, is one of the best bartenders in town. He remembers your name, your drink, and your story. Chris, who works at the outside patio bar, is also a phenomenal bartender, personable, fun, and you don't have to ask him for a drink. He's got you covered. Chris and Billy should get together and teach the rest of the staff what customer service is about because they have it nailed. The rest of the staff, not so much. read more

Scandals is known for their country music and dancing. However if you're not into that scene, they have a large patio bar out back. That area has plenty of seating and tables. Their happy hour prices are great. They don't use the plastic chips that other bars use. They simply cut the price of the drinks. They also have karaoke and a tea dance. read more

I have been going here since they opened. I cannot believe the negative comments I am reading. Scandals has no choice concerning the valet situation as their lot cannot accommodate the amount of cars on their property. From what I understand they are leasing the parking lot across the street from Walmart. Originally Walmart was going to fence off the entire parking lot but some kind of leasing agreement was reached. And for your $5 valet charge you get a free domestic beer or bottom shelf liquor. And the valet guys are very nice. As far as the comment that the place stinks of smoke that is unfortunate for places that allow smoking. A smoking ban was instituted for the inside of the bar about a year ago. I am a non-smoker so I am glad this happened as smokers do stink. Many of the bartenders also are happy about this. Too many gays smoke by the way. As far as the ban on pets, I too wish they would allow pets on the outdoor patio. I don't know why pets are not allowed, it could be a city issue or possibly an insurance issue. Back to the bartenders: I never have encountered a rude or stuck-up bartender here. They are all friendly. The place has a lot going on too: karaoke, line dancing, disco (which I don't care for but that's me), pool league and other stuff as I don't know their full line up of activities. We were visiting the area and used 'google' to find line dancing in the area. This was the closest place so we went. We had soooo much fun. It was a Wed night. Plenty of people but not over crowded. There was a line dance lesson going on when we got there so I jumped in right away. Duwaine was the teacher & nice job teaching. I was paying so much attention to the dance steps I was learning that I didn't realize that I was one of the few women in the place. I was having fun dancing with a bunch of super nice guys for about 1/2 an hour before I realized we were in a gay bar (that wasn't our goal). Any place with good music, good dancing, and good people is a place I want to be. We were welcomed with open arms (literally). We were the tall couple. Thank you all for being so kind & gracious.
