This is a very old school no frills gay bar that's a staple in Wilton Manors. The food menu is actually solid with different nightly specials and the drinks are cheap strong and do the job. Walking in it has that everybody knows everybody vibe very Cheers but for the gay community. They do drag shows bingo karaoke and music videos on the big screen so there is always something going on. When the weather is nice which it usually is in Wilton people spill outside and hang on the curb but I actually prefer the energy inside. This place has a great location to ppl watch. Service was super friendly and welcoming. The food was not what I was expecting. We ordered loaded nachos and the cheese used was like cheese wiz. I have been many times, but something changed. My recent visit was a Monday burger special x2 and beer special x2 (bill should have been $20 or $22 total). The service was fair, but part of the burger toppings were forgotten. I noticed the amount of food (fries) is now less, and the beer (shock top) no longer gets a wedge of orange. The food was fair, but mayo looked old and sparse (less than half filled plastic tub). All was going along at slightly sub par. Then the bill came at almost $32 (far above what was expected), so after paying, we asked for the itemized bill. When that came (after some delays, perhaps hoping we would just leave?), it showed different food from over 2 hours earlier?. I brought this to our servers attention and so they took the receipt and went to the back. The server came out with a new bill, with our food, but with higher prices.... to meet the wrong bills amount within pennies. I explained that the bill was still wrong and was at least (50%) more than it should have been. The server went again to correct the bill, this time returned with cash to resolve the incorrect amount. Still no real correct bill, just some cash to pay back the overcharge. I must say, i would have considered it a mistake if the wrong bill was for a table near us, but it wasnt. It was from hours long ago. I would have considered it a mistake if the overcharge was immediately corrected, but when the second bill was manipulated to increase prices to meet the wrong bills amount, it was game over, this is a scam and im getting upset. So long story short, service 2 star(-2 for the obvious scam), food 2 star (shrinking amount and value, deals are no longer deals), atmosphere? 0 stars (never a good time when getting scammed). Total 0 to 1 star. Stay away or stay alert on the bill, food, value, or be subject to being taken advantage of. ---- They dont know it but im a local resident (why would they dare to scam a local)? ... because im the regular patron "or not". read more

I had one of those moments/memories last night that I know will last a lifetime. First, the service was spectacular! We had an amazing server and he was super attentive, even with it being so busy. Second, I am all about live music, and the guy singing was spectacular! I literally sat in a bar and sobbed at his rendition of, The Rose! Third, the food was spot on delicious! That Patty Melt was to die for! As were the pretzel bites and the fried string beans. The best part of the night though...getting to see our finest in uniform enjoying themselves. Generally the best staff in Wilton Manors are here and next door at Gym Bar. The Pub always has some people in and often cabaret shows on, singers or drag etc Tuesdays are their musicals night in the early evening with a show at 8pm. There are drinks specials every day and the happy hour goes to 7 or 8pm depending on the day. There have a very nice patio at the back that was built maybe three years ago, I tend to get bit by mosquitos there bits it's very nicely done. I prefer to sit outside the front of with a friend, most Thursday's we spend a few hours people watching there and chatting away. read more

Came here the night before Thanksgiving for trivia with their host Eric and it was an absolute blast. The categories were varied and challenging while still offering a little something for everyone to feel smart, and Eric was a hilarious and engaging host. The ambiance of this place is pure fun - the outdoor bar hosted trivia and was packed, inside there was another show happening. We took advantage of happy hour as well, specials rotate every night along with certain drinks being discounted and even some food specials. I'm not from the area, so I felt like fried alligator had to be something I tasted while in Florida. Kind of tastes like a cross between chicken and fish, perfectly fried and crispy. The wings here were delicious as well, meaty and crispy. We were taken great care of by the bartender out back who appeared to be serving this entire section -- no easy feat. He was cool under pressure and took excellent care of us. If you love trivia, good food, and good vibes, come here on Wednesday nights. read more

This is a hit and miss place. I had great service and food but today is not one of those times. First i sat with my dog at an outdoor table and nobody came to wait so i moved to another table hoping to be noticed. Theres only one table so its not busy. Finally i got a person but had to ask for everything. Thankfully my fave waitress came on, christine..shes awesome. I ordered a patty melt med well. I got one still mooing and no utensils nor napkins. He never reappeared to ask anything but awesome christine came and took control and made it right. If not for her outstanding help i may not of come back. Ive had great service and food here but not today and theres only one other table. Sept 13, 2025 came here with friends to see Alice Gabsi sing and she was FABULOUS what a beautiful voice. The place inside has plenty of tables (high tops) and two bars. I liked that the tables are spaced out and you're not ontop of each other. There is outside seating but between the heat and the smokers I would never site outside. I did not eat there so I cannot comment on the food. However I was in shock when we had to pay $14 for 2 Beers. read more

They offer a full bar with some specialty cocktails. Must try that pineapple upside down frozen cocktail, so yummy. The staff are all very friendly and efficient. Had a party of 8, couldn't be seated outside so was seated inside at a reserved table. Was told that we had to be out by 730 because of their show. Once seated the white hair older woman turns on the music, it came blasting through the speakers where none of us could hear the other talk. We politely ask if they could turn it down a little but was ignored. Then around 7 she started hoovering around our table asking our server when we're we going to leave. Our server was very good. The older woman needs to adjust her way of doing business as there are many other better places on the drive to eat. read more

Went to this place on the "drive" on a Friday afternoon to celebrate a friend's birthday. My friend made reservations but apparently the person she spoke to might have not communicated with the staff, because nobody seemed to know about it. The staff still did their best to accommodate us and put some tables together. I ordered a house wine which was good. A bunch of appetizers were ordered for the table and they were okay but weren't too special. Our server was nice and did his best to serve us, but one waiter for probably about 15 people lead to some slow service for drinks. They were able to help us serve a cake that someone baked, which was really nice. Most of the people in the establishment were men other than our group. It was kinda funny when I went to the restroom they had a full men's restroom and just a singleton non-gendered restroom. My best friend and I have not seen each other for over six months, we decided to come to a local bar. We decided to come to the pub, also known as the village pub in Wilton manors. I have to say that the atmosphere in this restaurant is very welcoming very good, people are very happy. People are having a blast. The only unfortunate moment I have was when I order a lemon drop martini which was made to order on the back bar. At first, the drink look very nice and delicious yet refreshing, however, the martini was not at all with the best flavor ever it was the most sour drink I've ever had, and while I addressed this to the bartender, he practically did not care whether or not I liked his martini so I paid my almost $15 drink, including tips And I only drink a few sips from the drink and left it at the bar. It was very inconvenient yet a wasteful amount of money when I return I'm not sure. Maybe I'll give it a second chance and try a different bartender. read more

Recently they did away with their "free drink chip", that you used to get when buying a drink during happy hour...you used to buy a drink, get a chip and use it anytime for the second drink. You have until May 26 to redeem your chips...after that they will be obsolete. Now during happy hour, you just pay 1/2 off for the drink....so a margarita would be in the $4-5 range, beers would be in the $3-5 range and so forth. I like their daily food specials. We were so frustrated that we got up and left. We always stop there when we visit and eat out on the sidewalk. As all tables were full, we decided to try indoors. All I can say is wow. For years, the Pub has been one of the mainstay gay bars on The Drive. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it was one of the first bars to re-open because they have served pub food for years. It is during this time I found that Chef Howie has expanded the menu and improved the food. First off, do not expect fine dining. This is a bar that happens to serve pub food. Tables are now spaced 6 feet apart, and there are additional tables on the sidewalk and private back patio. Although not used at the moment, the bar counters are ready for the next phase with individual seat plexiglass movable dividers. There are food and drink specials every day of the week, with QR Code menu scannable on your smartphone. Friday Fish Fry is what my friends Steve L, Max S and I just can't seem to get enough of. We are probably on our 7th or 8th Friday eating here. For lightly breaded, deep fried flounder filet, I don't remember where I've had better. The oil must be changed fairly often and the fish is never overcooked. Some times the flounder is small, maybe about 5-6 inches, and other lucky times they are 8 or more inches. Yes boys, size does matter! The Wednesday chicken sandwich special, deep fried or grilled, is basic, but still good. Paired with a side such as French fries, tater tots, cold slaw, etc. and you have a meal for $6. And the tater tots, I don't care if they are fresh or frozen, they are fantastic. For a few bucks more you can upgrade sides to a good mac & cheese. Every waiter and bartender-waiter wears gloves, and has been super nice and friendly. Our table keeps them busy. Drink specials are a good deal. After 2-4-1 happy hour (now shortened during COVID) on brand-specific nights, you can still get a top shelf Tito's, Ketel One or Belvedere vodka for $5. First watering hole stop of the afternoon yesterday! It is a bit confusing as there are tables at the bar that look just like the dining area and a server will serve you when seated at the bar. Great happy hour prices (total bill 16 bucks for five beers between 2 of us). Pretty big establishment and seemed to be pretty popular food wise. Went to the pub on the drive after a great morning at the beach. I saw that it just so happened to be $6 burger day. The burger was amazing juice perfectly cooked. It is very hard to find a place that cooks to the temperature requested, but this place is spot on. I ordered the cheddar burger with sweet potato fries. I enjoyed it so much that it went great with my long island tea that my bartender Juan and his Co bartender Jamey the banter between the two had me in laughter, downside of the service was Juan and Jamey are only available daytime and only Monday to Friday. If you're from out-of-town visiting The Pub should always be on your list to grab a burger and a drink. Expect some outdoor seating (limited) but the indoor seating is plentiful. The decor there are two bars. One where you can just sit and hang out with friends.
