Drynk is easily one of my favorite spots in Wilton Manors. The craft cocktails here are no joke -- you can tell they actually put thought into what they're making. Every drink I've had has been well-balanced and genuinely delicious, not just something thrown together with cheap mix. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in, which honestly makes a big difference. Only thing -- it does get pretty packed, especially on weekends. It's still manageable but don't expect a ton of breathing room. Prices are a little higher than your typical gay bar, but honestly? When the drinks are this good, I don't mind paying for it. Darquin? Absolutely Not. Drynk is hands-down my favorite bar in Wilton Manors. The vibe is great, the drinks are strong, and Andy and Vinny are absolute gems -- professional, friendly, and always on point. They're the reason I keep coming back. But Darquin? Total opposite. I've been served by him a couple times now, and somehow each time is worse than the last. He doesn't know what's in the drinks (literally couldn't tell me what liquor was in what), takes forever to bring them out, and does it all with a blank stare and zero personality. No engagement, no care, just bad energy all around. If we're ever sat in his section again, we'll be asking to move -- straight to Andy or Vinny. Drynk deserves better than this kind of service, and honestly, so do its regulars. read more

Another amazing experience at Drynk. Bartenders were amazing despite how packed it was. They kept the line going quickly even when people were ordering complicated drinks. A friend told me they had "the best lychee martini" so I had to try it out. It was not the best I ever had but it was certainly good. I probably come here more than my check-ins admit LOL. I'd say if you transplanted DrYnk to NYC's gay Hells Kitchen, it would be swamped every night of the week. It's pretty crowded here most nights of the week as well, usually during happy hour before 8 pm, and especially Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday afternoon. The bar ambience and decor (except for the old Golden Era movies and musicals with Judy Garland, Bette Davis, Joan Crawford) is masculine and gentlemen clubby. It's probably one of the few gay bars on the Drive that does not have drag shows. Their moosehead on the wall is always changing adornments with the seasons. The bartenders and barbacks are all friendly. The bartenders know their trade, and their take on Smoky Old Fashioned (bourbon or rye) is Wow-worthy. So decadent and warm to your tummy. It even was named Best Cocktail on the Drive 2019 by SFGN voters, finally beating out Alibi's blue LIIT. The outdoor patio is unique to the Drive. It's like being in someone's upscale backyard, complete with its own bar and outdoor urinals to avoid waiting in restroom lines inside. The only problem in back are mosquitos. Even here it looks like management is trying tackle the problem, with new fans blowing (also helps blow the cigarette smoke away), and providing mosquito repellent upon request. Hopefully they also spray the area. Heat lamps come out when needed a few nights a year. This bar and bartenders know its clientele. And that is me ;-) read more
