Adding a NEMA 14-50 plug
Iris C.

I contacted Adrain for adding a new NEMA 14-50 charger for EV. He was able to schedule the installation on the next day. And get it done nicely with fair price. The whole process is easy and fast. Adrian is professional and easy to communicate. He knows how to get the work done nicely.

Ev Charger with nema 14-50

Contacted Adrian through yelp, got a response within 5 minutes. He was very helpful and answered all of my questions throughout the process. He was able to come out the next day but that didn't work with my schedule so he came the day after. I got a nema 14-50 plug installed with installation of an EV charger. The estimate i got on yelp was accurate and he went above and beyond to make sure the job ended up how I liked it.

I first contacted Adrian via Yelp on September 7, 2018, and requested a quote for work we needed done in our home. I received a quick response and scheduled an in-home review of the requested work within the week. On September 11, 2018, Adrian came by the house to view our requested work, which included some drywall work, installation of canned lighting and a ceiling fan and painting. Adrian asked that I get back to him regarding specifics of the project and he would respond by Friday, September 14, 2018, with a quote for the project. On Wednesday, September 12, 2018, I responded with specifics of the project and asked Adrian for a quote. Adrian did not provide the quote by Friday as he originally stated, but did provide a written quote on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. On Wednesday, September 19, 2018, I notified Adrian that we were interested in moving forward with the project and asked for a project start date and inquired on the length of the project so that we could coordinate our work schedules to be present during the project. Adrian immediately responded by saying he wanted to coordinate with his other guys and he would be in touch the following day with a start day. He also stated he would "drum up a contract" that we could sign on the start date of the project. (The contract never transpired, but we based the project off of Adrian's original written quote) On Friday, September 21, 2018, after not hearing from Adrian, I sent him a text with a status check. On Sunday, September 23, 2018, I sent Adrian a text telling him we were ready to start the project and if he was too busy, to let us know, so that we could pursue other avenues. On Monday, September 24, 2018, we confirmed with Adrian the dates of October 5, 6, and 8, 2018, (Friday, Saturday and Monday) for the project. On Wednesday, October 3, 2018, I sent Adrian a text to confirm the start date of Friday, October 5, 2018, and Adrian responded by asking what time he should arrive on Friday. I asked for 8 AM, as I had an appointment at 9:30 AM, and I wanted to get Adrian's crew set up before I left. Adrian replied that he would arrived between 8 AM and 9 AM and I agreed. On Friday, October 5, 2018, Adrian and Marco arrived at approximately 9:15 AM, which made me late for my scheduled appointment. After arriving late for the project, they ended their day at approximately 2-3 PM. I issued a check to Adrian for $1000 to cover the start of the project. On Saturday, October 6, 2018, Carlos arrived shortly after 9 AM to start work on the project. Marco arrived at approximately 10 AM and Adrian later than that. Adrian and Marco again completed their day by 2-3PM, although Carlos stayed well into the evening working on our project. On this day, Adrian asked for additional money to cover some of the costs of the project. We obliged and wrote out an additional check, only to have Adrian ask that we pay in cash. Adrian also notified us that they would not finish the project on Monday as originally specified. I felt that if Adrian and Marco had worked full 8 hour days, the project could have been completed in the 3 days specified. Adrian denied that he quoted 3 days and we extended the project into Tuesday as well, after coordinating our work schedules. On Monday, October 8, 2018, Adrian stated he and his workers would arrive at 2 PM (this after we made arrangements with work to be home Monday morning). I went about conducting errands Monday morning and received a call from Adrian at approximately 11 AM saying he stopped by the house expecting me to be home. Makes no sense that Adrian would stop by earlier (11am) than he had initially indicated (2pm) without contacting me prior to see if I would in fact be home. Before the project even began, I started to have reservations about Adrian's reliability, but because he was a "one stop shop" I went through with the project. There were issues with he and his workers arriving promptly, leaving early, and shady payment requests (one day asking for a check and different day asking for cash). The electrical work done seems to be fine; however, the painting work was sloppy at best. We pointed out several areas that needed touch up and they attempted to fix the issues. We had paint on new tile work, new vanities, new cabinets and paint on the ceilings, in addition to poor coverage of a new color of paint over an old color. Paint was also stripped off our bedroom wall from the tape they applied to protect the wall from the painting they applied in the bathroom. Adrian agreed to return another day to repair and address the errors, but at that point, we decided to cut our loses. We have arranged for a different painter to paint our ceilings and bedroom. Adrian did install an additional 4 canned lights than what was originally agreed to and did not charge us labor for doing so. Very disappointed.

No permission given to advertise our house! Not in contract!.
Jeric L.

Our house is being advertised without our permission - NOT PART OF THE CONTRACT! So we're obligated to leave a review.. If a contractor has NO respect of your hard earned, hard saved money, doesn't have the pride of workmanship and non-existent quality, then it's a bad contractor! Check out the details on this supposedly "gorgeous house", which our goal is to have it as a dream house for our remaining years. Please ask us for the pictures and decide. Contact me, or my wife for more details.

a ceiling fan in a white room

Adrian and his assistant did a great job installing my ceiling fan on my cathedral ceiling. I highly recommend them to install ceiling fans or any other light fixtures. They installed it very quickly and cleaned up.

When Adrian put the door in on the side of the garage he destroyed a lot of stucco on the outside and didn't fix it, so when it rained it leaked through the garage. I ignored his lack of professionalism since he got the job done, but as we started to paint the kitchen we noticed all of the cabinets he put in are super flimsy and he left a lot of damage to the drywall behind the fridge and never fixed it. He did a really poor job and used very cheap material for how much I paid him. Not to mention his attitude and timeliness were awful. He made us feel like we were not a priority and I hope no one else has to go through that. We've had to fix a lot of things he put in because of the poor demolition and construction process. For these reasons I have decided to update my review. I couldn't remove my other review of praise, otherwise I would have. It wouldn't let me.

Rarely do I enjoy such expert advice and service at various businesses, but I am sending a huge…read moreshout out and recommendation for this store. Simple need: I have six recessed lightbulbs from a 9-year old kitchen remodel, and four of them were not working. Googled 'Lightbulbs' and Siri guided me to this place from my home in La Verne. Kind of confusing to find the entrance to 'Lightbulbs', but found a door and realized it's all one giant place. I questioned a very pleasant guy on a ladder about 'where do I go for lightbulbs?', and he immediately stepped down and accompanied me over to where he found the perfect replacement bulbs which were an absolute match, but a much lighter (weight wise) version. Info on the original LED bulb was barely readable, but he found what turned out to be perfect replacements. Upon arrival home, I replaced the non-working bulbs with the new ones which are an absolute match in brightness and look. Amazingly, the final bill was only $23.98 (including tax), which is just under $6 for each bulb. According to the box, these LED lights could last up to 22 years. I hope I'm around to see that when I'm 91 years old! Wait: There's more! This place is filled with every type and style of high-end lighting, so if you're in the mood to re-do any room or entry-way lighting, check out what they have. But again, I was so impressed with the expertise of the associate. I didn't catch his name, but his initials may be RM. On my receipt it lists the 'Writer' as RM.
