If I could give negative stars, I would. Jovanny, the owner, is extremely unprofessional. We hired him to improve major parts of our home, including bedrooms and a bathroom. After nearly a year, the project is still unfinished and much of the work that was completed was done very poorly. He would also disappear for weeks at a time without showing up, leaving his tools, construction materials and trash scattered throughout our living space and around our yard. He would use many reasons & excuses on why he would disappear in which we were very patient. He also damaged two of our TVs during the project and never reimbursed us for them. In addition, we gave him $350 to raise a shower head and $440 to replace a window. Neither job was ever completed despite repeatedly promising to reimburse us, he never did. Most of the time, he would send subcontractors instead of showing up himself. Several of them came to our home only to collect their tools because Jovanny owed them money. One subcontractor even arrived under the influence and asked if he could spend the night. Our final contract was for $10,250. We paid Jovanny $7,209, despite receiving those payments, he constantly pressured us for more money to "finish the job." In the end, only about 25% of the contracted work was actually completed and suddenly stopped showing up. Save yourself the stress, wasted time, and financial loss. Very nice guy but a bit flaky unfortunately. He was very communicative which I appreciated but there were times when he said he was on his way only to end up not coming that day. A 1-2 day job (replacing old sink with a farmhouse sink) took over a week. The quality of work is not the best either. He left scratches on the stainless steel sink and uneven/rough edges in the granite. Also left the garbage disposal loose so it was leaking until my 28 year old daughter fixed it herself. After reading all the glowing reviews below, I thought I would reach out to Jovanni for a few projects but I certainly didn't get very lucky with him. He was certainly courteous and eager when I first called but even before the first work day there were bad signs. * When asked to come to my place to take a look he missed appointments at least 3 times. * When starting there are items that I mentioned we need yet he repeatedly had to make "Home Depot" runs throughout the few days he was here. * Asked him to replace my bathroom vanity and he ruined the cabinet back when connecting to the faucet valves. See pictures. * On the last day he was in a hurry and many things were done sloppily (gaps between baseboards, gap between toilet hose and drywall) If you hire him, hire him for small jobs. Anything that lasts for days you're rolling the dice. My 2 cents. And now I have to cross my fingers that his work will hold up. A good thing is his price is fairly reasonable, but you will get taxed by the headaches you get from trying to work with him and having to fix his carelessness.
