After the countless cancellations from Petco and the high turnover of employees, I finally reached out to Befur and After. I am not disappointed at all! Murphy gets nervous worth all those dogs barking and crying so that would cause him to be overly anxious. And by the time we would pick him up, he was a wreck and would just sleep without eating for a day or more. Today he got to enjoy being the only pup getting attention. When I can to pick my dog up 3-4 hours later when they called and said he was ready, my dog still smelled like corn chips and as if they had tried to spray some type of doggie perfume over to cover it. His nails weren't trimmed and they had snipped cut my dog's penis from shaving him. My dog was in excruciating pain and no one at the groomers even mentioned it to me when I initially picked my dog up. I DO NOT recommend this place!!

The last time I had the dogs groomed the owner spent most of the time complaining about being understaffed and of all the large designer breeds coming in since Covid. This time he joked with me about having his personal phone number and that his girlfriend would be jealous if I called it. Weird. Today was surreal. I dropped my dogs off at noon. Chris literally dragged my dogs by the leash into the back room. Yikes. I said I wasn't really happy with the last cut because the muzzle made my Cavachon look like a fox. I had asked for a puppy cut. My female Cavachon always came out okay. I brought some pictures of his cut from previous years as an example. I definately wanted his muzzle to remain long. Chris called it a teddy bear cut. Fast forward on hour and Chris calls to say they would have to shave the muzzle or it would cost $10 each to demat both dogs. I know my female did not have mats. Maybe the male did. I said I definitely don't want them shaved so just cut the rest of the animals and I will take care of the face. Well, Chris lost it on me. He told me that he didn't want to cut my dogs anyway so come and pick them up. Are you kidding? That's some horrible customer service. Chris is a New Yorker as am I. Yes, we are edgy but as a business owner myself, you have to suck it up and remember that the customer is always right. Rude is unacceptable. As another reviewer stated - I can only imagine how they treat the dogs if they can be so nasty to the human paying. I feel like I was spared something aweful and have to believe my pups are better off. It was a crappy beginning to my birthday. Imagine spending over $1000 as a customer in one…read moremonth with a pet clinic, only for the vet to walk in the room on your last visit and for her to speak to your dog and NOT acknowledge you as the customer. Dr. Melinda Cindea is ridiculously unprofessional and rude. I have 2 pets and had to bring them a total of 5 times in 30 days for regular and follow up appointments. Each time I left spending $180-$300. The vet techs have little information to give you and the 4 out of 5 appointments I had to deal with Dr. Melinda Cindea she was dismissive, made snide remarks, or just overloaded you with information to the point where you had to ask a million clarifying questions... I think she did that intentionally to be confusing. On my 2nd to last visit I paid $277. Soon after I left I received a call where the phone rang once (I assumed it was a misdial), so I didn't call back because it was after 9 and they close at 9. My last visit, they told me I had a $110 balance from the week prior. I asked the tech why and she couldn't explain it. Dr. Melinda Cindea came in, didn't acknowledge me as a person in the room, gave my dog a 3 minute assessment, and later demanded I pay the balance. They also made mention of calling "several times" to address said unpaid balance. I told her I received one call and she cut me off saying they called from a different number and there was a record of the calls "she had just looked at" to which she did not show. Overall, this was a very sour experience, and after I let her know I wouldn't be coming back because of my experience with her directly, she responded, "That's fine" as if she owns the clinic herself. I don't recommend this clinic. Money is their interest, not your experience patronizing their business.
