I then told him I wanted them to fix the things I just told him about and he then told me that their mechanics wouldn't be able to do the repairs because they had never worked on a Volvo XC 70 that old. One would think that a certified Volvo mechanic would be able to remove some suspension bushings and install the new ones. read more

They sold me a 2018 xc60 with just 20k miles with a bad tire/wheel. Car was vibrating and pulling to the right when I drove over 60mph as soon as I drove it off the lot on my way home from the dealership. When I tried to schedule an appointment to have it checked. They ignored me. Didn't return my calls. They didn't call me back until a month later. Then when they did take a look they totally blamed it on me said I hit the rims or something and told me the car had passed certified inspection so they won't take responsibility. I knew they're lying because when buying the car, the advertisement online didn't say 'certified pre-owed' but just 'used'. I wanted a certified car so when I called and asked if it can be certified they said they can get that done no problem at no additional cost. When I got there they said it's late today they can't submit paperwork to volvo for certification but they did all the certified inspection so I don't need to worry about it. They told me they'll send in the paperwork to volvo on Monday, 2 days after I buy it. I didn't think much of it since I thought they were an honest business. But I forgot I was dealing with a car dealership. My advice to anyone in a similar situation. Don't buy a used car if it's not certified from a dealership even if they convince you they did the same inspection that's on a certified car. This is the worst buying experience I've had ever. Regret it big time! I've registered a complaint with BBB. Hope they can resolve this. read more

post sales customer service is sub standard. the manager inaccurately triages your issues requiring multiple trips to the service center until resolved. I caught a service center in a lie and when called on it, the general manager made excuses. the gm treated me like an idiot, when he attempted to explain to me, the impact of supply chain disruptions on the car industry when it took the dealership nearly 6mos to fix my windshield and associated parts. when you leave a voicemail with the service departmen, they never call me back. ever.. I have to call back and hope they answer. I just traded my 2020 aviator in for a bmw to avoid using their dealership again. read more

Purchased online from parts department. Part arrived damaged. They made me deal with UPS spending 4 hours formatting photos, uploading and satisfying all the claims requirements. UPS called me saying "Your shipper will be in touch"... that call never came. Four weeks later I had to start cold calling the parts department. They finally shipped a replacement asking for return of the damaged part. No return label given, so this part will sit in my basement and rot for all I care as I have work way too many hours for nothing for this lousy customer service! Will never order again from this company! (On one bright note Amanda in parts was very helpful and friendly but apologetically advised she could only do so much... promote her and get rid of the others!) read more

8 months ago we purchased a new Navigator. Since then we have experienced some of the worst customer service from any dealership I've ever experienced. We have had issues with a leaking window after 8 attempts we have taken the vehicle to another dealership! When I go to pick up our vehicle it's usually parked "out back" I don't receive the same level of service as the others showing up. Guess when they sell a vehicle that has issues they just want it to go away instead of actually fixing it! They make you not want to come back! Bob, I welcome a call from you to discuss why our review of Velde turned negative. It boils down to we felt unwelcome at Velde since we had an ongoing issue with our vehicle that was difficult for your team to repair. Calls were not returned as promised, questions were not answered, and lies were told. Update 4/26/16 Bob,thanks for the follow up phone call. Sorry that we are unable to come to an agreement on how things were handled during our 4 minute phone conversation. I agree that things started off well, but as the issue with our brand new 2015 Navigator continued the level of service degraded to the point that we felt unwelcome and unwanted. It's too bad that you only believe what your staff is telling you and not the feedback from my perspective. I'm especially surprised that your "resolution" to this matter is that we should continue to seek service from other dealerships, telling me that we are no longer welcome back to your dealership. For being a Lincoln and Volvo dealership, it is completely outdated. It seems they only have one service advisor, and the service department seems to be completely dysfunctional and so incredibly slow every time we have had to visit. We thought maybe after the first time that they were having an off day, but after many other times visiting it seems to be the norm. Most employees I have seen are dressed extremely casual, no class. It really is a disappointment, hopefully the dealership can get it together. read more

Great experience. Travis, our sales rep, was very knowledgable and helpful. Dale, the sales manager, was great as well, they were able to locate a vehicle and get it to us within 48 hours even though it was states away and a holiday weekend. We price shopped and called around and no one, NO ONE, in the midwest was able to beat their price. We cautioned them that we would have our two small, loud, (and probably impatient) children with us when signing final paperwork, so they had everything already coordinated with the bank of our choice and our insurance so our final paperwork was done in less than 20 minutes. And they were amazingly accommodating. Both of us having backgrounds in sales, we will happily walk away from any customer service experience if we feel pushed, or misled in anyway and happily take our business elsewhere. Never was that a question when working with the Velde Team. They were excellent, customer focused, and you could tell it was a great environment not only for the customers, but also for the employees.
