The gal was very sweet to my daughter. She was very knowledgeable of many of the featured artists. She knew names, mediums, common themes, where that artist was featured in town. Girlfriend had it down. It is easy to be lured in by the bright colors and variety of art and clothing. If you love items with a San Antonio flair you will want to check this place out. From lamps, wall art, table items and clothing you are sure to find something you can't leave without. And if all else fails they have Mexican bottled Coca Cola.

This place has so much potential!…read more Bracken Village is an adorable little shopping center outside Loop 1604 on Nacogdoches Rd. If all the shops were full, I can imagine this would be a favorite spot of mine. As is, even with the couple boutiques in business right now, it is still pretty tempting to make the drive. It's situated like an actual little village. All the shops are more like wooden cabins than your typical storefronts. And you can meander around and peruse the wares in all of them under the shade trees. It's really beautiful and if more shops had tenants, it would be an awesome place! I loved the shop called "Ewe and Eye Creations" as it had handmade doll clothes for various sizes of dolls. My daughter was was even able to pick out shoes to go with the doll outfit; how unique is that. Then there was a new candle shop that had all types of candles, containers and such. I will say that the app is pretty stellar and if you're new to bidding, it can get quite tricky -- but fear not, they have tutorials. I'm pretty sure you could find ANYTHING if you were constantly looking. Selection varies on a daily basis and definitely look out for last chance deals on the app as well! After winning your items, you have 3 business days to pick up. You can have them hold for an additional $5 for up to 5 business days after purchase as well. The hours for pickup/inspection are pretty much regular workdays so be careful of when your deadline to pick up is by. OKAY. Now to the warehouse *insert wide eyes* There is ample parking and for Monday at 4pm, there wasn't too much of a rush. I was carrying extra baggage (my two toddlers), so I can say my heart rate was higher than it should have been. When you enter the warehouse, you check in on the right side (can check in on app for faster process), and then you proceed to get a CART if you need one. You do have to FIND your item based on the bay (letter), shelf (number) and finally the item number. As a first timer, this may be overwhelming but don't worry, it gets easier. If you have items listed BINS -- those are at the FRONT (letters A and some of B). Once you are done loading your item(s), you go to the front and they scan out your items based off of the barcode on the box. They have streamlined the process to make it more effective and everyone was pretty understanding and attentive when I needed help.

Unfortunately, this waffle maker was by far the worst purchase I've made. It was clearly heavily used, covered in old grease and food residue, and it doesn't even power on. I honestly can't believe this item made it through inspection and was listed for sale in this condition. Selling a dirty, non-working appliance is unacceptable. My advice is to inspect every item thoroughly before leaving the pickup location. You may find some good deals, but don't assume items have been tested or are in the condition described.
