    "Turkey Bacon Club"
    Brianna C.

Had an issue with a food item at this location. I called to let the manager know that I had mold on my turkey on the "Turkey Bacon Ranch" sandwich. First, I was corrected by the manager: "We don't have a Turkey Bacon Ranch". Myself, "oh, I meant the Turkey Bacon Club". Then, I said "well , I was about to eat my sandwich and then I saw that the turkey looked like it had mold on it. The manager told me "none of our meat has mold on it. It's all frozen" I said "Sir, my turkey has Green Mold on it". He replies "No, I'm not giving you a refund because it's not molded" I went up there to speak with him. I was asked to wait 7 minutes to speak with manager all for him to tell me, "I gave you a refund" and walked away while I was talking. For anyone reading, if this isn't mold, can you tell me what it is? It's one thing for an employee to be rude, but for a manager to have a piss poor attitude is UNACCEPTABLE. Let's be sure that we're giving leadership roles to capable candidates that have people skills. I'm not sure why "Brian" (if that is truly his name) was selected to be a shift lead. If he's the General Manager, then you guys are really in trouble.

When I go to Vegas, I play slots. But when I come to Texas, I eat at Schlotz. Ky's, that is. This is a national chain, but it seems to be centered around these parts, and the first time I tried it was down the road in Austin, and I really liked it. It's sort of a Bagel Sandwich place but massive in this region, and eating too many of these will make you massive, too. As time goes by and my tastes improve and become significantly more elaborate, I've realized that most locations most of the time are pretty average. But it's still better than most fast food and sandwich chains, especially the evil awful Subway, and my view is that the stuff here still tastes a little bit good and even a little bit of special in some ways. Overall I tossed them a 3-star rating for this College Station location, and it's a good one but not one of the very best I've tried.

This is easily the worst Schlotzsky's I've ever been to, 1 star is generous. I am an Engineering student at TAMU so I frequent convenient restaurants near campus. To say I have ever had a pleasant experience here, would be a lie. I love Schlotzky's but the staff here are dingy and upon entering my first time I was vehemently greeted by a rude manager named "Skye" who yelled at me for bringing my skateboard inside. I'd understand if it were handled respectfully as I were to be a paying customer but being yelled at when it could've been pleasantly and easily avoided is the mark of a shitty managerial staff. Also how is a skateboard inside a restaurant against health code and how is it different from everything else everyone brings in? Its not like I put it in the kitchen, I propped in up out of the way near where I had planned to sit. The staff here seem to say anyone is the manager just to mitigate a problem, too. Food never ceases to be lukewarm. The icing on the cake was one evening I confronted the staff concerning a sandwich I had ordered earlier in the day but had left the restaurant before checking it, in a rush. When I went to eat my LARGE $17 sandwich it had 3 shreds, I LITERALLY MEAN SHREDS of lettuce, a couple slimy tomatoes, uneven mayo in a thick squiggly line, and a thick slab of turkey on cold sourdough, like they didn't even try. When I went in with a video showing the sandwich later in the day, they didn't know what to say. Each staff member just said, "I didn't make that", they then offered to remake me the sandwich before talking to the manger to which the manager said it wasn't possible to give me a new one. In the time I was inside just complaining about how this block of meat that doesn't reach the edge of the bread they call 'food' keeps getting served, I got a $30 parking ticket in the Schlotzsky's lot that I have to pay because of an absolutely disgusting, cold sandwich and the fact that I didn't scan validate my parking for a 5 minute rant that shouldn't have even happened from the get go. They later said they don't contol the parking tickets. I love y'all Schlotsky's but everyone here has got to go.

A little pricey for a sandwich shop but still amazing! Went through the drive through and got 2 medium sandwiches and 2 sodas which came out to a total of 21$. The sandwiches were huge and I only finished half. I don't know what sauce was on mine, but it was one of the best sandwich sauces I've ever had. I would never go out of my way to go by this place, but if it was on the way I would definitely stop by again! ( I've also heard the pizzas blowout the sandwiches, so I guess ill have to try one of those next time!)

Everything was wrong, and they even refused to cut my pizza, after my second trip back, for making both attempts wrong.

Whether it's the rude (should I say mean) employees or the inability to read a an order. This Schlotzsky's is not the place to eat. After going back for the second time, they forgot an entire sandwich the first, and made 2 sandwiches wrong the second time. We finally got to eat our Schlotzsky's, if only it was what we ordered. Two of three pizzas and 3 out of four sandwiches were incorrect, not only missing the avocado but adding the wrong meats. Oh my god, don't go here.

Their onion rings are superb -- they've got that bulkiness you look for and were very fresh when they came out. There's an up cost to change certain things but nothing crazy. The best day to come for a burger is probably Tuesday's because they have a couple bucks off then. Other than that they've got some drink specials but we don't drink. We brought our kids and they both got the flatbread pizza which is a great option for kids, but they couldn't eat it all. They also have a kids menu and said they'll try that next time. All in all, great little place with a good atmosphere. It's a bit small and I'd imagine it gets super busy on game nights and when kids are in full swing for the semester. But this is the summer time. The waitress was ok... we told her it's our first time here and she offered zero feedback. I was a little surprised but she was attentive enough keeping up with our refills that I kinda got over it. They also have some lunch specials I'll consider coming back for.

If you worship at the Altar of Sourdough, I have found the Gates of Bread Heaven…read more I have sourdough across this Land from Florida to California and THIS is the best flavored sourdough I have ever had in my decades of eating. The crust has a chew to it that is firm but gives way soon enough after biting. What it gives way to is a crumb that is soft, textured and smells like a double dose of sourdough yeast. The starter is at least 25 years old and boy howdy, it really packs a punch. So much so, I asked an employee there if they sold starter. I would have bought some to use and grow at home. Enough about their star item ... let's go over the lunch I enjoyed there yesterday (15May26, got a free cookie on their birthday). I had their Crawfish Mac and Cheese in a bread bowl. The pasta was curly and cooked al-dente, as any pasta should be. The pieces of crawfish had a slight, very slight dusting of bread crumbs on them that added a nice texture to the forkful of pasta and creamy cheesiness that is a hallmark of mac n cheese. Needless to say, I managed to finish the contents of the bowl (the plug of bread removed is also served) and about half of the wonderful bread bowl before forcing myself to just stop. The remains were dutifully doggie bagged and brought with me as a snack to be enjoyed on the drive home. I will be in College Station many times over the next four years and when there, Blue Baker is definitely on my list of places to get great bread and a good lunch. There are three in Aggieland, so try them all if you are nearby. Ciao, Darrell

We were BLOWN AWAY by the number of college students, dressed in their Sunday's best, openly praying over their food before enjoying some awesome chicken. It was SO NICE TO SEE! I had a slight "issue" where I thought my chicken wasn't fully cooked and the manager reassured me that it was just breading but happily remade my sandwich to give me peace of mind. I REALLY appreciated that. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals, literally leaving "not a fry left behind." The size of my chicken on the sandwich was HUGE- had to be hanging off the roll by 2" on each side! Staff were phenomenal. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Love the laid back decor. Brookshire brothers is a beautiful grocery store that is so enjoyable to shop in, wonderful staff who are so cared for- their stories of employment there are so beautiful, it causes me catharsis every time I BB comes to mind. They have a wide selection of everything you need grocery wise. From the general unhealthy foods and snacks that most Americans won't sacrifice, to the ultra clean, minimal ingredients products me and all my mom friends prefer. The fresh cut meat looked so good today that I felt regret for my last purchase of meat proteins (from HEB). Their sirloins were so beautiful they stopped me in my tracks. Will definitely be buying my meat there next time.
