Ah schlotzkys, how I missed you, and most don't even know you exist. The big S was a staple for me when I lived in PC, I myself didn't know it existed in Dothan due to the construction blocking the route. I'm any case, S is a deli sandwich with side and drink; pretty basic. If you find your flavor though, it is a staple in your diet. The turkey, or club will do you right with a side of sweet tea and macaroni. Yes,they have a variety of chips. What sets S apart is the bread. You won't find this light and flavorful bread to set off your sandwich anywhere around that I know of. They also carry the large cinnebon cinnamon rolls. Normally this place would rate higher for me, but staff is Skelton after the big snow. I also believe the care taken normally cannot be pulled by a crew of two. Nature of the game though. Take your time, walk in and they have some TV's for sports and whatnot while you wait. Otherwise, drive through and pick up a SMALL if it's your first time. Sandwich packs a good bite. read more

My husband had always told me he didn't like Schlotzskys and my daughter is not a fan of sandwiches in general so I have not been in years. When my husband said he wanted to go here I was shocked but excited because I used to get Schlotzskys all the time when I lived in Texas. We went through the drive through and it's been so long since I've gone so I forgot what was in them. I wish they listed the ingredients on the drive through menu. I got a fiesta chicken, my husband got a chicken bacon cheese sandwich thing and my daughter got the Mac n cheese. The girl working appeared to be the only one there but she was very nice and the service was not slow, not super fast either, but reasonable for her being the only one. The receipt says her name is Ripal. My sandwich was good but I wasn't a fan of the black olives, I just picked them off so no biggie. My daughter absolutely loved her Mac, she said it was very creamy and cheesy with good flavor. My husband also raved about how good his sandwich was and had me try it. I was a bit jealous so I know what I want next time. I was just so happy they liked it because now when we are in town and need a quick drive through meal I can actually go get some and know that my family will eat it too haha! read more

I have always loved Schlotzsky's and hated to see it close years ago. I was so excited to see it opening again here in Dothan. To begin with the food was delicious with plump sandwiches. Recently I have noticed the meat inside the sandwich is shrinking and every time you go there is an issue. No buns for the size sandwich you ordered to last night no bacon on the 2 turkey bacon clubs I ordered. Not told they were out of bacon it was just missing on both sandwiches. Hate for the future of this store to be like the previous one but they are working toward it. Not sure I will go back. read more

I went there twice and disappointed both times. The first time whoever made the sandwich poured way too much mustard on it. could hardly taste anything else. The second time I ordered a Turkey Club on jalapeño cheese bread and when I got home I had a turkey sandwich on regular bread. If I was able to give 0 stars I would. This store is full of incompetent employees. They are uneducated in what is in the food. They are unable to follow simple orders. This is sad because this restaurant has delicious food but we are very disappointed in the service today. One girl sat on her phone while the other girl did all the work. I went here three times with hopes it would improve. The first time I went was an amazing experience so of course I went back. However, that time around I placed and order inside and they forgot two condiments for my sandwich. Granted it was an easy fix so I thought no big deal. However, the next time I went I place an order through the drive thru. I asked specifically for no mustard and the receipt in fine print said extra mustard. I brushed it off and went again today. I place an original which has no roast beef whatsoever. With further inspection of the sand which once arriving home I noticed it had cheese and roast beef only. It has no olives, lettuce, Mayo, mustard, or the signature sauce. I've give it the benefit of the doubt on three occasions and overall spent about $40 in total to be disappointed once arriving home. Not a good look. I got tired of my money being constantly abused so I called the number on the receipt and was told I would be refunded and that it was already in order. However, I have yet to receive the refund. Also not a great look. read more

Wasn't horrible but wasn't good. The meat tasted like meat you get at the grocery store in the cheap packages. I had to ask for hot sauce to help get it flavor and cover the meat. Cinnabon rolls were awesome but pricey. read more
