Food is good but my order is always wrong. I always order the same thing for my family. Either the salad dressing is missing, the croutons, pickles, chicken on the salad, etc. I always order my sandwiches w/o olives and they have olives. For $35.00 dollars it should be accurate. read more

Every time I go I have to wait an extremely long time for both the drive through lane AND going inside. Not only this, but half the time they don't even have what I want. They told me one time that they ran out of pizza and that was the only reason I stopped. This time, I was told that they don't make two of the artisan flatbreads anymore even though it's still on their menu. It's not that hard to cover it up on the menu board in my opinion so that I don't waste my time asking which ones they actually do have. The Customer Service is never great either, they're always rude or snooty. This is coming from someone who actually works in customer service so that's pretty annoying as well. read more

Went through the drive thru last night to grab a couple of their yummy salads. There was one other vehicle in front of me. Dining area had only two people, already eating. The vehicle in front of me received their order, and drove off. I got to the window, paid, and watched as 5 young female employees were goofing around, txting, and eating ice, directly out of the commercial ice machine. I waited for approx. 10-15min, along with the person that ordered behind me, in line. I received my order, and started to drive away. I decided to check to ensure it was correct. I'm glad I did, as they left out a dressing for one of my salads. I had to get out, and go in. Needless to say, I was not dressed appropriately for the weather, hence the drive thru visit, instead of inside. They were not at all apologetic, and took a while to get me the small container of the dressing, they had left out of my order. They were never rude, but definitely did not go out of their way to be pleasant, or accommodating. I feel that if Management can take charge, and do their job, this location would be very good, if not, I would bet on more reviews like this! read more

I love Schlotzkys but this is the worst location I've ever been to. Maybe because it's connected to a gas station? It takes forever to get your food - doesn't matter if you're in the drive thru or inside and there's usually something wrong with your order. You could easily wait 20 - 30 minutes for your food after you have already paid. I'm so glad I live by a different Schlotzkys now that knows what they're doing! read more

I love Schlotzsky's to begin with, they make a great sandwich and pizza's. I know going there its going to be a little more pricey than the average fast food establishment and that's okay for the taste. I am writing this review regarding this particular location in Kyle. I have been here many times, and it always seems to be out of Diet. Dr.Pepper. Its my favorite drink and yes once their out not once, but three times in a week its gets old. Secondly, I went through one day last week. I ordered my combo and a kids meals for my kids. I asked for milk with their lunches and they informed me that there would be an up charge of $1.39 (basically the price of the milk) if I wanted to do this. I told them that was ridiculous and would not pay an extra $1.39 on top of the $4.00 for the kids meal. The when I got to the window I asked if we could substitute the cookie for baked chips or a healthier option, the girl said, No. I was appalled that first, in order for my kids not to only get a choice of soda, I had to pay more. Then there was no substitutions at all for the kids meal. Basically your paying $4.00 plus tax for your kids sandwich only, if you don't wan them having unhealthy choices. I contacted corporate regarding this matter and they informed me that this location is owned by, Sac n Pac. This is why this happened. I cannot say I won't go back, but never for a kids meal again. Which means less business for them since I have 3 children. I would rather go to Chick Fila. read more

Just went to the Schlotzsky's in Kyle at noon today. I had horrible service at the drive thru window. I tried to make a simple change to my order, and the lady told me I would have to cancel my order and come inside the restaurant in order to make any kind of changes. She had other cars in line. She said she was too busy to make any changes to my order. This was after I tried to get her attention at the window, upon pulling up. When she did acknowledge me a couple minutes later, this was her response. I wasted 10 minutes and never received any food. I will not be returning. read more

ordered 3 medium originals and a small ham and cheese to go for a total of $33 and some change. This place was opened in the last two weeks and was happy a different sandwich place opened in Kyle besides Subway. The family loves Schlotzky's and its convenient on my way home and the prices are reasonable for someone making you a sandwich. The problem came to light when i got home. The originals had only TWO SLICES of meat laid down on both pieces of bread and very very little lettuce and other that they put on the sandwich. The ham and cheese was full of meat and lettuce and looked like a picture on the menu board.. Essentially i paid $25 for six slices of bread. The threw in some coupons with a picture of originals on them. My sandwiches looked nothing like the picture. There was no "lotz" in these Schlotzky's sandwiches at all. If had dined in I would have complained to get them made right or demanded my money back. This place started off on the wrong foot with me and I will not go back to this one. I will rather drive to Austin or New Braunfels to have a Schlotzky's. Plus the fact its part of a gas station is kind of a turn off for me. Restaurants tend to degrade quickly in this set-up. And why is there is no WiFi? My $40 router has a guest access people visitng my home can access if I enable it. Hopefully they get their stuff together and make sandwiches like their supposed to. Then maybe I will visit here again. I gave two stars because they made the ham and cheese right. read more

2nd time going and still very disappointed with quality of food. Both times the bread tasted old and was hard around the edges like it was sitting out for a day or more. I used to love going to Schlotzky's. My mom and I decide we wanted it last night. I went to go get and notice that the menu has change a lot. I haven't been there in awhile. We used to get the number 1 combo The Original. It came with the sandwich, chips, a pickle, and a drink. I was told last night that they don't do combos anymore. To me that is the dumbest thing Schlotzsky's can do. I paid $17 for two sandwiches, two pickles (which I didn't get), and two drinks. I'm not sure I will be back to any Schlotzsky's because I feel like that was a ripe off for what I got. If they are not going to do combos anymore then they need lower their prices! read more

We had a hard time trying to figure out where this place was, given the wrong directions. They pointed to a burger king. So, if you pass it and go to the Shell gas station, you will find this Schlotzsky's location. We ordered the Potato bacon soup. It was ok for a cold rainy day. The Turkey and bacon club on sourdough bread, the bread was very crisp and nice. Overall experience at this location was ok, the gas station attached to it, is fairly clean, spacious and has a coffee shop too. At the end of the store, you shall find the Schlotzsky's. Apparently Yelp didn't like my review below... And it was removed. So here it is again. Lunch time Saturday August 5, 2017. They missed part of the order. Took 40 minutes to get two sandwiches and a bag of chips. Manager was unapologetic, told me "you don't know what going on back there" Not the first time. Slow service here is common. These guys lack in basic customer respect. Shame, food is good. A friendly advise to the owner, work on your manger... And don't allow delivery trucks at lunch rush time. Just went through drive thru. Spent 45.00 and the order was wrong when I got home. I knew I should of checked the bag but had already waited forever. My 9.00 salad was left out and there was no mustard on my sandwich and the bread was so hard I could barely eat it. It said it came with a side of honey mustard but didn't get that either. Ordered Mac that comes with breadsticks but of course those were left out too. The soup was on its side in the bag so that was a mess. Tried to call them several times and they aren't answering the phone. Ordered a couple of cinnamon rolls and they were ice cold. This location is horrible!!! read more

I like this Schlotzskys location and so far have not had the issues some other folks have reported. The staff are always friendly and my order has always been correct. Yes there is sometimes a wait bit it has never been that long and this location for me anway has always been faster than the Wm Cannon location. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I ordered a small original on wheat with NO ONIONS to go. Guess what??? When I got home and took a bite of my sandwich, it was filled with onions! I am allergic to onions! I expect to get what I order when I patronize an establishment, not the potential for an allergic reaction to something! I called to let them know what happened and talked to the "manager" and it was some kid who acted as if he could care less and that it was funny! To think I was excited when I heard there was going to be a Schlotsky's in Kyle. I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!! It's located attached to a gas station. It was surprisingly clean. Service was prompt and accurate. Food was warm and tasted fresh.

Gross there was hair all in our food... This is disgusting... They need to be more careful and use hairnets...

We should have kept driving. Best thing about the place was the bathrooms in the attached gas station. No cheese on the kids turkey and cheese. Then charged us .79 for the cheese. They didn't have our order right and it took 20 minutes to get our kids sandwich...we were already done with lunch. Gave them a dollar for the cheeses and they could not figure out our change. My advice...go up one more exit! read more

This location has to be the worse place for service. Did not get my complete order when it finally was brought to our table. The missing item was a salad, how long does it take to make a salad? I'll tell you how long 25 minutes and counting. I asked for my money back and they gave the money back quickly but as I have read in other post, it was without apologies and any sense of emotion. Schlotzsky's makes a great sandwich everywhere but not at this location. Oh and by the way for those employees at this location, you work at a FAST FOOD restaurant. Went to this location for lunch, Sunday, 3 June 2018. The restaraunt had only opened at 10:30 AM. Fully 1/3 of the tables were dirty, the drink/accessory counter was dirty and the floor was filthy, with both food and dried drink spills. Thia is just the beginning. The front counter girl was chatting with another by the drive through register and rolled her when we walked up to order. The entire staff was not doing anything...see restaraunt conditions above. Saw they got a B rating from the health department on 30 May. This location needs managment intervention. read more

Food is always good but it is EXTREMELY slow here. Be prepared to wait 15+ minutes even if you are the only car! Even 10 minute wait when I have only ordered a drink before. Friendliness of the staff is always hit or miss but I can take it or leave it most of the time since it's a drive through. But they really need to work on speeding things up!! read more

I love Schlotzky's ever since I was a little boy living in Austin. Back then the muffuletta sourdough sandwich was humongous and covered with black olives, lettuce and tomatoes with tasty slices of ham! It was perhaps the best fast food experience I ever had as a child. Now Schlotzky's shrank that sandwich down to 1/10 it's size and increased the price 10 fold! The company should change it's name to Chinsey's cause they are always looking for a way to overcharge you while providing very little in return. Demand extra black olives and lettuce and tomatoes! They will do it! But other than that... this is the best Sandwich Shop in all of Central Texas. The awesomely delicious sandwiches served with salty as hell chips and their OMG vinegary hot sauce that goes well on everything along with the positive attitude of the staff makes Schlotzky's by far better than Subway, Thundercloud and Jason's Deli! Eat a real muffuletta sandwich at Jason's Deli and you will notice it tastes NOTHING like a Schlotzky's Original Turkey/Ham Sandwich! Buy a sub sandwich filled with glass from Subway who has a sex offender as their mascot and it will taste TERRIBLE in comparison! Fight through the long line of stupid Yuppies throwing their money away on nasty sandwiches made by mean spirited hippies at Thundercloud and it will still SUCK! The Schlotzky's in Georgetown and the main location in Austin near Town Lake is ABSOLUTELY SUPERB! I worship their delicious sandwiches whenever I can afford to buy one! I wanted to open a Schlotzky's in San Marcos but some idiot opened one at the Outlet Mall where no local ever goes. FILTHY. ants everywhere, and they don't wash the plastic plates. the employee's are polite enough, but the managers are just rude. for what it is, everything is over priced. as a previous worker, i also have some other grievances. breaks are sparse, pay is unreliable to start, managers don't enforce hand washing (and will be bitter with you when you DO wash your hands because you aren't being quick enough), and they are reluctant to let you use the restroom. managers are rude to employees as well as customers, and will ignore worker availability. scholtzkeys is a good restaurant, but this location deserves to be closed. read more
