Erika who is the point person in the office is extremely responsive and pleasant to work with. This review has to do with my recent engagement of Hopewell Septic to conduct soil testing: Charlie Jr and his team arrived well in advance of our scheduled appointment time which I truly appreciated. That meant that they would be ready to go as soon as the health inspector and engineer arrived. FLEXIBILITY: due to recent storms, the soil test had to be postponed, I appreciated their flexibility. The soil testing was needed to determine the full scope of my property septic system since my home was built in the 50s and the previous owners had done some updates, but did not leave me the details. We have not done any of the Septic work yet so I will be updating my reviews once that's completed. The only item I wish they could make changes to are the way that they produce reports. This project requires detailed reporting. Once I pointed that out to them, they made corrections and adjustments, which I appreciate appreciated.

He did the inspection without us there. The septic had a problem, but instead of failing it and letting us know, he made a deal with the homeowner to fix it for them. When we tried to call him, he did not answer for days. When he finally did, he was rude and said since we were not paying him anymore, he did not need to answer us. He never gave us the inspection report. The work he did on the septic was poor. He used cheap (rock-filled) soil. We had to spend another $1,000 to fix it. Save yourself the stress and do not use them for septic inspections.

Chuck Sweed came out to our home on an emergency call. While installing the new septic, he…read morediscovered a deep sink hole. Rather than back filling the sink hole with rock and making sure the ground was stable, he backfilled it with dirt which collapsed at the first big rain. He placed the Dbox at the edge of the sink hole, with the distribution pipe going across the sink hole. When the ground gave way, the system cracked and broke. When contacted, Chuck claimed this was not his responsibility. When I harrassed him enough, he came out and said the hole was not big deal, the system was fine and he'd fill it, which he never did. Got bids from two other companies both of whom said he failed to backfill the sinkhole properly before installing the system and that the pipes and dbox cracked. We paid the new company to do it right. Chuck Sweed is dishonest, does not stand by his work nor does he care about the customer. Avoid this company like the plague!

TIP: call before the freeze sets in because not all septic service companies in the Hudson Valley offer these services over the winter. I DONNED MY DITCH-DIGGIN' boots, grabbed my shovel and got to digging. Was it easy? Nope. But it was well worth the savings. WAYNE was my guy-on time and experienced. Right after I had Wyatt from T Webber snake out 2 clogs in my house. We went around & checked out…read moremy 70 year old septic tank. The tank & drainage was a nightmare or practically nonexistent . We heard water flowing into the tank which is not a good sign . Wyatt suggested I have him and Alvin come and take a look and inspect the tank further in a couple of days . Much to my surprise, I got a call the very next day. The very next day I had a call from T Webber stating that Alvin and Wyatt were on route to my house. The next day after he cleared the clog out for me in my house . Alvin and Wyatt showed up . Did an inspection, answered every question I could possibly have. By the end of that conversation, we had called Tiffany up on the phone, and got a prorate at a good price with good APR, and the loan was approved . Alvin, wyatt, and Tiff made my day an took so much weight off my mind. Alvin explained everything down to a science Wyatt went over everything with me and reassured me and Tiffany found the best rate possible for me and was reassuring as the loan came in to verify every detail of the job that would be taking place. A weight was lifted . I was worried about so many different things . These guys at T Webber were an amazing group of people, that reassured me, and helped me to realize that every problem has a solution, and made every solution possible where I didn't have to worry about a thing . The fee to look ant the gas range that was supposed to be converted to liquid propane system was done by an apprentice who did not have skills to do the conversion is $150. REALLY T. Webber, when do you stand behind the workmanship? Honestly, stop covering up the shabby work or send the highest professional you claim to have!! Only a year ago I gave this guy a compliment for attaching my Whirlpool washing machine to water pipes. No more of my money will be spent for service from T. Webber!
