I have no complaints of the service I received. However, I was waiting for my car to be finished when I saw a gentleman bring in my keys. He was unfriendly with me, even just as I smiled at him .. I didn't think much of it, just ignored it. A few minutes later, he jumped on a worker for "not working", while two tires were sitting by the desk. As the worker defended himself and said he was actually working with customers, the man said to him, "don't make excuses, just work." The other man said, "I'm not making excuses, Dom, I've been working." Dom, a word of advice to you - don't call out or belittle your team member in front of customers. Customers that have been sitting in seats, watching this man work behind the counter, asking the other young lady which tires were which, so that he could do the necessary paperwork. This isn't a good look for you, sir. It is unprofessional and it is also abusive to your coworker. It was, I am sure, embarrassing for him and it shouldn't be done at all. Do better.

But Schnucks makes it way too complicated to actually redeem the points. Can"t redeem in self checkout. Can't apply to certain purchases like alcohol. Have to sign into your app during checkout with a person, find my rewards (not intuitive at all), and hand your phone to the clerk to scan the barcode. Any basic process review identifies way better ways to do this. Makes me think Schnucks doesn't want me to redeem those points. Hmmm...

The parking lot is large, well lit and clean. I enjoy running in and picking up a few things or especially like to get flowers for my wife. I recently got some white hydrangeas that were gorgeous and surprised my wife. I was surprised the next morning when a double bunch was completely wilted. I came in to have tires installed through the tire and battery shop and was initially helped by an…read moreemployee named Heath. He was extremely polite, professional, and got me checked in quickly. I asked if I could watch the installation from outside the shop area, and he explained that as long as I stayed behind the chained-off area outside the garage, it was fine. He even allowed me to borrow a plastic chair so I could sit while watching, which I appreciated. About five minutes later, another employee named Henry approached me in a very aggressive and rude manner. Without first asking or speaking respectfully, he loudly said, "Aw nah man, you can't be sitting out here with that chair like that, it's going to get all wet." At the time, I was completely covered by the overhead shelter near the garage doors and it was not raining on the chair at all. Caught off guard by how I was approached, I responded, "Really?" Henry then replied, "Yeah, the others are just too scared to tell you," referring to his coworkers. He then took the chair away abruptly while walking off. As I responded "wow" in disbelief at how the situation was handled, he eventually said "sorry," which made it seem like he may have realized afterward that he had handled the interaction poorly. I want to make it clear that Heath was great throughout the process and represented excellent customer service. Unfortunately, the interaction with Henry left a very negative impression and completely changed the experience. As someone who had recently returned from deployment, I was disappointed to be treated in such an unnecessarily hostile and disrespectful manner over something that had already been approved by another employee. Overall, I hope this feedback is taken constructively so future customers are treated with more professionalism and respect.
