Files that were compromised in the hack after I gave them my information.

Ghetto location strikes again! This time with a HIRING SCAM! They promise you a job and sell your information on the dark web! My mother passed of Cancer recently. Before that I was helping to take care of her. After watching her die I am trying to get back into the workforce. It's very difficult, but it's what you have to do. This was all in my résumé to explain the brief gap in work history. I didn't accept any money as a caregiver for my mom so it's not a job. I dropped off a copy of my résumé there. A few days later I got a text, saying to come back to Schnucks as a Cashier. I went to the store for my orientation paperwork and was told they had mistaken me for a former employee who used to work there. This was their first lie. I'm from Michigan and all my work history is in Michigan. Unless Kelly their hiring manager is illiterate I'm not sure how they thought I was a different person from my resume. I tried to interview that day but they told me everyone had to come to open interviews. Seems odd right away: they send me a clear, written promise of a job I show up they say they want me to come to open interviews. Won't even arrange an interview for me that day. I suspect they're hiring manager; Kelly gets paid by the head for how many people show up to these interviews. I also suspect they sell your email address. More on that later. At the interview, they told me for a SECOND TIME I had the job. They just needed me to sign up on Schnucks.com. That's really odd. When you think about it for a second because I was at open interviews. They should've had orientation packets, printed out and ready to go. But they didn't. They just wanted people to fill out more forms so they could get more personal information. After I complied, I got an email saying I was going to have a phone interview. I was a little bewildered, because I was told that I was hired already. But I went through with the phone interview passed with flying colors and was told by Catherine Russell that she was going to see if they just felt comfortable hiring me. No more interviews. I wait and hear nothing when I finally go back to the store. I am told that they want me to work at a different location. They don't know which location off the top of their head but it's the one nearest their store. I went to the two stores closest to theirs, was told that they have never heard of me and that that's not how the hiring process works. You are hired at whatever store you interview at. Around this time my device got hacked. I lost valuable files off of my Dropbox. When I saw the store I was trying to get into still had now hiring signs up I began to suspect that my information has been sold by Kelly on the dark web. They spoke with my Stepdad and set up a meeting for today. The manager "Mark then refused to speak to me." I sent my concerns to Cathrine Russell in an email. She brushed me off. She's fine with her employees at this location running a bait and switch scam and she's fine with them selling our personal information to third parties without permission. She does not feel this matter is worth looking into. This no way to treat people. They still have those now hiring signs up by the way. Unless you want your identity stolen or your phone or computer hacked, I would not give these people any email address. They are preying on people who want to work and support themselves and their families. They are not trust worthy. Just read the other reviews. Go to Target Walmart or Derbergs. Much safer.

Never had any issues here. Easy grocery store and usually fully stocked. Decent hours.

I went there on a weeknight, about an hour before it closed at 9 pm and it was very dirty and unorganized. It's a fairly new store so it should have been cleaner or better maintained. I understand that any store can be unorganized on certain days but wasn't impressed with how cluttered the store was, however, that wasn't the main issue I had. My main issue was with the store manager regarding an e-gift card I wanted to use. I purchased a $100 gift card for my aunt for Christmas 2024. She printed it out and used $66 of the card two months before I attempted to use the remaining balance. There was still around $34 balance. My aunt gave it to me to use the remaining balance. There shouldn't have been any issue when I tried to use the e-gift card. The card was not expired and being that my aunt used the same piece of paper just a couple months before, that has the code and card number and PIN on it, it was still good, but the store manager was rude and refused to honor it. I asked her if she could try scanning the e-gift card after my groceries were scanned but she declined and said that everything needed to be printed out where it says, "Redemption Instructions" and "Terms and Conditions." According to the manager, since it didn't have that information printed out, she refused to accept it. I told her that's irrelevant because it has the code, the card number and PIN but she just shook her head and told me she's not honoring it. I called customer service a few days later and the e-gift card is still good and should have been honored. I'm giving a 1-star review because of the manager's bad attitude towards me. I was nice to her, but she wasn't friendly to me. She was condescending towards me. I'll go back to the same Ruler again soon, knowing that the card is still good and attempt to use the remaining balance but most likely, I'm not going to bother with Ruler again because of one very rude manager. Ruler lost me as a customer because of a rude store manager. Had she been nicer and just tried to scan in the code to see if it worked, then most likely there wouldn't have been an issue.

He was extremely polite, professional, and got me checked in quickly. I asked if I could watch the installation from outside the shop area, and he explained that as long as I stayed behind the chained-off area outside the garage, it was fine. He even allowed me to borrow a plastic chair so I could sit while watching, which I appreciated. About five minutes later, another employee named Henry approached me in a very aggressive and rude manner. Without first asking or speaking respectfully, he loudly said, "Aw nah man, you can't be sitting out here with that chair like that, it's going to get all wet." At the time, I was completely covered by the overhead shelter near the garage doors and it was not raining on the chair at all. Caught off guard by how I was approached, I responded, "Really?" Henry then replied, "Yeah, the others are just too scared to tell you," referring to his coworkers. He then took the chair away abruptly while walking off. As I responded "wow" in disbelief at how the situation was handled, he eventually said "sorry," which made it seem like he may have realized afterward that he had handled the interaction poorly. I want to make it clear that Heath was great throughout the process and represented excellent customer service. Unfortunately, the interaction with Henry left a very negative impression and completely changed the experience. As someone who had recently returned from deployment, I was disappointed to be treated in such an unnecessarily hostile and disrespectful manner over something that had already been approved by another employee. Overall, I hope this feedback is taken constructively so future customers are treated with more professionalism and respect.

I waited around for the delivery in the time period I signed up for. The delivery never arrived. When I called customer service they said it had been delivered to the wrong address and they could not say where it was delivered and then the call was ended. When I called back I was told that the order was never picked up from the store to be delivered so I asked for the order to be cancelled. The next day I had to go to the club to pickup a birthday cake, I will say that I am overjoyed that they brought back the cookie cake. So out of curiosity I went to the area they keep the delivery orders to verify that it had been cancelled and it was not cancelled. Well since I was there and I did need the items, I went ahead and picked the order up myself. Unbelievable how badly this delivery service had been. I would steer clear of this option if I were you! One of my items was a salad and it seemed like they had left that out of refrigeration to await pickup. Do better Sam's. They should just cancel it or offer no delivery option near the hours nearest store closing like mine was. I'll be driving to Missouri to shop at Costco more from now on. They have top notch customer service and the food at their cafe is so much better without staff having attitude issues. Yes Sam's of O'Fallon, your cafe staff has an attitude problem. Nobody smiles and it seems like they hate being there. Plus the food - especially the hot dogs - is not as good as it has been in prior years. I hope management sees this review and makes the necessary adjustments.
