I have sensory processing difficulties and it wasn't possible to make out what any of them were saying due to them all speaking at once. This was very confusing and overwhelming. I responded with a thank you and took my items and left. Before I got out of the store, I heard them start talking about me. One woman said "That was a weird face. Did you see her face?" And as I held the door open for the delivery driver, I heard them continue to talk about me.. not a great feeling. It's important to remember that everyone is differently abled and might process information differently. While I was confused about what was happening, I remained polite and there is no excuse for talking about someone like that when you are in a customer facing role. We have removed them off our list of local businesses to support.
