It went well until Dr. Aujla came in to take xrays of my mouth. Typical procedure, nothing new until he said all my cavity fillings "look horrible". I asked why as I am a person who gets a cleaning every 6 months and do everything suggested; for example, electric toothbrush and water flosser. So he had me come in a couple days later where he took more x-rays. It was unnecessary as he already knew what he was looking at when he took the first x-rays the day prior. So, he then told me my tooth needed a crown. I asked all the necessary questions, and he talked to me as if I was dumb instead of using layman's terms and explaining it so I understood it. He ground my tooth down so far and filled it with more cavity filling. He then covered it with a temporary crown. At no point during this visit was I given any sort of prior knowledge about a co-pay or consent until after I left the operating room. If I had known that I had a big co-pay; I wouldn't have gotten a crown that day. After I left that day, I went home in pain to find out a couple days following the procedure, I had an abscess that took up the entire right side of my face. I got that taken care of. Yay. However, I discovered pain in the tooth that was supposed to be getting the crown put on. I attempted for the doctor send me a referral to another office for a second opinion. He never sent the referral. I cancelled the appointment for the permanent crown as my tooth was in pain and I stated that I wanted the tooth pulled. So, another appointment was made later in the week for the tooth removal. Upon arrival, Dr. Aujla tried to convince me to go to another specialist who "had the special tools required for a root canal". I searched this doctors' specialties up on google that are clearly stated under his bio; it stated that he did root canals as well as many other procedures. I asked another professional working in the office if they did root canals in this office and they said "Yes we do, we are actually currently doing a root canal on someone in the room side of you". Needless to say the doctor lied to me. After trying to convince me to see a specialist for the root canal, he stated that he wanted me to come back to get the permanent crown. I stated that I would prefer that the tooth just be removed. He did so. After he was completed with removing the tooth he said that my tooth on the other side of my mouth would need the same treatment soon. I left that day also with no pain medication to mention. I came back the following day at 8am to have my tooth extraction hole looked at, as he stated he "filled the tooth hole too full of bone graft stuff, and that was the reason that he was coming out through the stitches". I asked if the stitches were still in place as if they weren't then it would take longer to heal. He then proceeded to take another x-ray for no reason because there was no tooth there anymore, not quite sure what he was looking at. I finally got my medication prescribed. Also forgot to mention that they did not have me sign a consent form until after the tooth extraction. I typically enjoy going to the dentist, though after this encounter I am very upset and uneasy about dentists to follow. I feel this family establishment is getting what they can from patients, they are rude and careless. I have never been treated with such disregard in my life, furthermore, never had a abscess. Very unhappy with this experience, and if there was an option for a negative 10-star review, I would have. I do not recommend anyone to go to this dentist office. I also had a friend go there who had a bad experience and that speaks volumes.

I arrived there and he sat me on the chair and he put the cotton with the get in my mouth and because I have gag reflex he declined to do the job and told me I had to be sedate me in order to be able to do my fillings. When I went up front to Jenny, she quoted me at $1190 out of pocket for the procedure. In a matter of seconds he raised my procedure by over $1100. Not to mention that when I called to get my medical records and take them to another clinic, Dr Tinelli was super rude and refused to work with me in any way claiming that he doesn't want to do it without the sedation so we can avoid the "hassle". So by him avoiding the hassle I have to pay an additional $1100 so he doesn't have to see me gag and he can go about his day. I mentioned that I have always had work done with other Dr's in the past and they never had sedated me and he told me to take my business to my previous Dr's (1000 miles away). Like any other dental clinic they do a consultation first (2 months prior), which they had already done along with a cleaning and he knew about my gagging and at that moment he NEVER once mentioned about being sedated until the day of my appointment. I will never go back nor refer anyone there. Although besides him and Jenny at the front desk the rest of his staff is super professional and nice. It's a shame that he is a piece of sh*t doctor.

Every single person we encountered was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful. Truly outstanding across the board.... From reception, to the nurses, to the doctor, to billing. Every interaction was positive. Dr. Curtis was especially wonderful with both me and my kids. He took the time to make sure they understood their treatment, what was happening, and why. He was so kind, patient, and easy to talk to. Leading up to surgery, the day of, and even afterward, I called at least 10 times with questions. Not once did anyone seem annoyed. Every time, they were helpful, responsive, and happy to answer anything I needed. On the day of surgery, the staff continued to go above and beyond. When my daughter had an issue with gauze getting stuck in her braces, they stepped in immediately to help without hesitation. They even called a few hours after surgery to check on how she was doing, which meant so much. This place deserves more than just this review. I'm so impressed. Dr. Curtis, you've built something truly special. It's rare to find a place with this level of kindness, respect, and professionalism. Thank you for everything.

I had gave this place several chances and all the times were the worst the staff had no idea what they were doing kept dropping things on the floor.. but the Dentist Aeklavya Panjali was beyond rough with my mouth and continued to hit his utensils on my top teeth, he has no bedside manners, or knows how to treat you professionally and respectfully! I've never been treated so rudely from a Doctor! I highly recommend to do your research and go anywhere but here. I will NEVER be coming back here! Spreading my experience telling everyone I know to never have him practice on you. Not TO ME TIOM THIS DENTIST OFFICE IS A SCAM THEY STEAL FROM YOU!!!!!!!! THEY CHARGE YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY FOR WORK THEY DIDN'T DO! And his Wife is the Manager of the facility so whenever I need to make a complaint or need a copy of my Xrays, they refuse to do so and say they are "very busy and hang up!" *The tooth pictured is the one that is giving me so much pain after the crown has been placed can't even eat on the crown'ed tooth . As YOU CAN SEE THERE IS Mercury in my tooth now because of him! I PAID FOR PORCELAIN CROWN! And I got this cheap silver piece that's making my gum line show now! Don't make the same mistake I did. It was over a two-year Nightmare!…read more From 2019 and just Today! Yes today January 19th, 2022 thank God I can finally smile again after so stressful, painful, long, and very expensive process that Dr.Panjali left me in. I was an employee here and a patient but I am not rating this place as an employee but as a patient. I will try to make the story short but I can go for an entire year telling how this place gives me NIGHTMARES! I continue to have nightmares where I see Dr.Panjali and it is horrible. From just one veneer it ends up with four veneers/crowns, cracked tooth then failed implant (twice failed implant) and this was verified by two Doctors! I used to go to another dental clinic for the usual routine dental check-up, but since I was an employee in Sunshine Dental the previous manager asked me why not get the veneer/crown there and I'll get a good discount, I was new in the clinic and dental field so I didn't know any better, so I decided sure why not I wanna save money. (Worst decision I've ever made!) They convinced me instead of just getting one veneer why not get four crowns/veneers it will look more aesthetic (who doesn't want that) since I was a kid I didn't have that much confidence when smiling. So I made the appointment. After the procedure was completed, I noticed immediately the veneers and crowns of the shades are off, till now I remember, I describe them like the On and Off Christmas lights! Every other tooth was like white, gray, white, gray so I told Dr.Panjali my concern and he advised I sleep on it, and if you think they still look like that we will fix them. About more or less two weeks I have been asking my husband, mom, neighbors, and friends what do they think and they all agreed the colors didn't match and it was obvious. Dr.Panjali confirmed that too so we both decided to go ahead and redo the ones that are off, but in the process, he became frustrated, pulling harder resulting in cracking my tooth down to the root! ( I remember he was very rough like usual!) I was so devastated I couldn't believe it and mind you this is my front tooth that he cracked in two, I wouldn't care if it's in the back, I asked if a root canal will work or anything, but unfortunately, the only option is just to get an implant. He said no worries since He look at me like his younger sister he offered me a free implant (didn't want it at all because I've seen the process, it's very invasive and long) but that's the best option for me at that time. So I went ahead and did it, the implant was in, and with the follow-ups, he noticed that the bone is not growing around the implant, so he decided to take out the implant, do a bone graft, heal and reattempt the implant, so we did that. This time he was able to put on the implant crown did a temporary cement then come back, at that time I can already tell the crown is moving and its a bit painful every time I eat, but I thought it was normal since it's only a temporary cement, but when I came back to the next visit I told him that, and he looks very concerned and said the crown shouldn't be moving even though its a temporary cement, so he did X-rays again check the implant and said he doesn't understand. There's even a visit I brought my husband to make sure what was going on but on that visit he never say it's a failed implant! He even showed X-rays to my husband, even said it's probably hereditary (poor genes), that probably I'm low in vitamin D and C, even asked me to get my vitamin D and C checked. (Primary care MD confirmed normal lab levels) but still went ahead took a high dosage of Vit.D to help out. But with that last visit, my husband and I decided to go ahead and find another implant specialist and never come back to him. I struggled for more than two years, by that time everyone is wearing face masks so it helped me hide my faulty smile! My new provider assessed there was so much scar tissue and diminished bone, and gum tissue. But after the first attempt, the new provider got it right and fixed my teeth. Yes, I can literary smile now and I can move on.
