My daughter is five years old and when we go on vacation, she can go into an adult pool on her own without any arm floats, a noodle, or anything else. She'll dive and get multiple rings from the bottom of a 5ft+ pool with no issues, she can tread water for minutes at a time, float on her back, and she's learned countless swim strokes. From a kid who was terrified of the water, to someone that is now confident and can swim independently, this has been worth every bit of it and then some!
