New students get a goldfish bag and t-shirt for free. The tshirt, i use for what my kid changes into after class and the bag if to keep all my kids swim stuff. They have plenty of individual changing rooms so you aren't in a bathroom changing with everyone and their mom. The changing rooms are clean, spacious, has a bench, hooks and a lock. They have individual family bathrooms. They have showers in the pool area to rinse off after class. They have mirrors and hair dryers. They have a spacious waiting area with enough seats. They have cubbies, a fish tank, a play area/book nook/photo booth and coloring pages for kids waiting, and sell swim supplies. The location is always clean, staff super friendly and helpful, and when you call you can reach a person. As far as the classes, the teachers are super great and informative about progress. They give you skill updates after every class. I've seen my kid progress in a month. They are kind and friendly to the kids and I haven't noticed as much turn over as thr other locations. Making up a missed class is made easy in comparison to other locations. My favorite part... they have an app!! Everything about your kids progress, class, the location and even payments is found in the app. It makes it soooo easy. Super user friendly. I'm very happy with this swim school and will definitely keep my kid here.

I was excited that I could sign up for a same day class and the location did not disappoint. The initial front desk assistant was super friendly and the teacher was amazing as well. With my daughter being 1, we were in a small class and the teacher to student ratio was perfect. The class was the perfect timeframe and just the right time and sequence of exercises that kept my daughter engaged and excited. My only reason for removing 1 star is that I felt as if we could have received a little more instruction with the initial interaction. It was our first class and after finishing our lesson, I was instant it was an entire area of showers w/ shower gel, a hair drying station, the machine to dry bathing suits, etc. I was only told there was a section of bathrooms. So that'd be my only recommendation. Provide more instruction... a complete overview of amenities to first timers. Beyond that we had an amazing time and can't wait for our next class!

And no, I don't plan to walk around with a gun in my purse (Maryland state gun laws prohibit that anyway), but I have been wanting to learn how to properly use a gun and to get my handgun license. I had only been to the gun range once and I remember not being fully prepared to handle the recoil. I found Prolific Operations through Instagram and realized it is a Black-owned business, led by two men with more than a decade each of firearms experience. I emailed a few questions that I had about what the class covers and COVID-related safety protocols and received really prompt (and reassuring!) responses. Registration was very simple and the class started promptly the day of. There were several bottles of hand sanitizer, everyone stayed spaced out, and the instructional guns were disinfected between students. The class was super informative and safety rules were constantly reinforced. We all drove to a gun range about 15 minutes away where we were able to use the knowledge we obtained in the classroom. Even as a petite woman with long acrylic nails, I was confident in holding and firing the gun because of how well we were taught to hold the gun. I highly recommend Prolific Operations if you want to obtain your HQL and familiarize yourself with how to properly operate a firearm. They are professional, great instructors, and still manage to be safe during this pandemic. Besides, the world is crazy and it's important to be able to protect yourself and know what you're doing!
