10/10 service of every level! Brett and Colin came to my house and cleaned the carpets. The entire time, they were joyful, professional, kind and very knowledgeable. It started with a walk-through of the house, and seeing what areas may needed more attention. Then they got to work! 2,300 square foot house and most of it carpeted-they got it don't in less than two hours! I have what I like to call "forgiving carpet" because the color makes it very easy to hide stains and spills. So that's a good thing, but also bad because I didn't know how much dirt had accumulated over a year and a half. We had a big water damage issue and I found Schrader's and called because of other positive reviews. Two days before my escrow was supposed to close on a cabin I owned in Lake Arrowhead, the ice maker burst and flooded the entire house. I no longer live in California and I had so much anxiety. I had no idea where to begin. To fix a flooded house from 1200 miles away seemed impossible. And that's when Schrader's came to the rescue. Jim Schrader, owner of Schrader's Carpet Care, tackled that catastrophe of a mess and transformed what initially seemed like scaling Mt. Everest into an easy summertime stroll! I'd never had an insurance claim in all the years I owned property and I was completely dependent upon the people who had to step in to help me. When I found Jim Schrader, little did I know that the clean-up process would actually be a fantastic experience. Jim came in with his machines, his guys, his trucks. He had his water mitigation system in place the very day I contacted him. They hauled off the ruined flooring, drywall, and carpet. put in the blowers, stayed in touch with the insurance company and reassured me that they'd get me back to normal like it never even happened. And that's precisely what they did! I've rarely been so grateful for anyone in my life. I am a widow and no longer have my husband to turn to. Jim's care and concern meant the world to me. These folks called me back same day, came and estimated my two big rooms same day, cleaned same day! Huge load off my mind as we prepare to move from a rental to the home we just bought. I had the carpet cleaned, 2 rugs, a sofa and a chair.Our dog was sick and had thrown up and pooped in the same area of the carpet. It looked like new and they also applied a disinfectant. I was most concerned about my armchair which had a huge grease spot on the headrest. No trace of it when they were done. Brett is the best! My carpet looks brand new I seriously don't even want to walk on it! After calling a couple other companies on the mountain which did not return calls I asked a friend for a referral. That's how I found Schrader's. Brett answered the phone on the second ring and was able to perform services the next day! He did an absolutely amazing job and took such care in moving all my furniture that he could into the kitchen and thoroughly cleaning every last bit of carpet. I can't believe how great it looks! This is a Dad and Son operation. Jim and Nick are true pros. Jim came out and gave us a free estimate a while back. When I called to say we were ready he still had the estimate handy and was able to pull it right up. So he is organized. They came in and chatted with us on how to treat pet stains in the future and gave us some great inside information that will help out. Then they proceeded to put corner protectors on all corners they were taking their big hose around. They cared! Then they cleaned the carpets through the entire house. Jim spent about 1/2 hour in one room really working hard to get the dirt up. His truck mounted super sucker carpet machine sounded like it had a turbo in it for max sucking power. No Prius power on that machine. They know how to clean carpets. They work from the farthest part of the house to the door. That way there are no footsteps in the carpet when they left. It was like we had our brand new carpet back. The price for the value was excellent. I am sure we could have gotten it for half price from someone else, but I would have gotten half the job also. I feel in this business you get what you pay for. If you value your home as an investment and you appreciate an amazing job well done this is the team to get. For best results we moved as much furniture out of the way before they came. This made our house a clean slate and they did not have to work around many items. On a recommendation from a house cleaning company on the mountain i called Schrader's carpet care . Jim picked up the phone on the second ring. He asked me about the carpeted rooms and stairs with other questions. He told me the price to do the carpets. I told him we had back to back rentals because of everyone wants out of their houses after being stuck in their own houses because of the virus. I ended the call , saying to Jim, I will get back to you when we have a window of opportunity/a gap in rentals to do a carpet cleaning! So, a week and a half later I called in the morning seeing if they had a opening the day of to fit me in.
