We also moved the stove and found cheerios and other dirt and grime under it and on the sides of the unit. Dart is a nice guy - the cleaning crew was very nice - but the job was sub-standard in some places. They did do a few things very nicely, like the ceiling fans, but I can not see the top of them.

He spent the entire first day thoroughly cleaning the tile throughout our home, carefully restoring the grout lines and removing 20 years of buildup. The following day, he returned and diligently sealed all the grout using Malibu Sand, taking the time to apply everything evenly and properly. What impressed me most was how thorough he was. Brandon even offered to move the refrigerator and the laundry machines so he could clean and seal areas that most people would probably skip. That level of attention to detail really stood out. The transformation was incredible. Our first-floor flooring honestly looks like a completely different space now. It has become one of my favorite features of the house. I will just state the facts and you can decide. I have about 5 feet of slate tile, 170 feet of…read moreclick flooring and about 400 and change of slate grout. All due to a slab leak that, thankfully, was very small. The first estimate for all three was $5500 which was just one number, and seemed to be pulled out of his posterior. I asked for a breakdown of the three jobs and he was resistant, telling me the combo was a "good deal". When I got the breakdown it was $7175 (I don't think it cost him $1675 for the breakdown). And he estimated $500 a foot for the slate (!) (materials supplied) and it's because he had to "level to area". I've laid tons of flooring and that's typical with any installation. For 170 feet of click flooring (my materials) he estimated $3400, or $20 a foot. Next closest estimate was $550. Steam cleaning the grout was $1275 which I thought was competitive. Overall, considering the time estimate was two days, it's about $3500 per day. Since I'm not having any of the work done by him, I can't speak to the quality. I've noticed that many trades just throw out a price, seemingly "at random". But beware, and request a breakdown. Then calculate the per day cost. If you're not comfortable with that, get more quot
