So I looked it up Tacco is still in business, not named Four Seasons. Do the guy just shot from the hip and gave me bad information. Yet the price of the "other" insert was as much as Tacco's cost. So I'm think cheaper brand more margin for the store. Another came to display and asked if the inserts worked. I told her Tacco worked but this was an of brand, so I did know I told her I was going to George's and she followed. I had to wander around for 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me, and when they finally did, the employee was rude and dismissive. They clearly lacked any product knowledge, giving me wrong sizes and then acting annoyed when I asked for a different size. The shoes I finally tried on looked like they were 5 years old, the bottom of the shoes were dirty the box was smashed up. So I decided not to buy anything. This store is a complete waste of time. But now "Things Done Changed." (Biggie reference.) Within the last couple years, a handful of new spots have opened up in Minneapolis alone! Phenom is refreshing with its dope two room setup, wooden floors, and tees that hang from an automated and revolving rack above. (Like what drycleaners have.) They also carry a small selection of sneaker classics like Nike Air Maxes, Jordans, and New Balances (the non-Grandpa kind), some interesting caps (both snapback and fitted), and original sweatshirts I've never really seen online. I'm not really a fan of their selection, but I can see how some peeps dig it. Aside from the gear, the customer service could be better. I saw one Nike Air Max and got a staff member to get it in my size. I found that it didn't fit and tried chatting with him a bit. He seemed disinterested in trying to sell me anything and left to talk to the shorty at the front of the store. At other boutiques, the staff usually tries to hustle me. Kinda surprised. Again, I love Phenom's dope space and can appreciate their gear, but the customer service could be better.

Wedding saved with superb customer service (including a house call)…read more My nephew was getting married at the Skyroom at Red Wing Golf Course. A few hours before the wedding, he realized had left his suit pants back at home. With no time to retrieve them, I received a call to see if there was anything I could do (I was already in Red Wing). We found Heimie's Haberdashery via the web, went there and were helped by the manager Jeff. After he heard the story, he grabbed some prospective clothes and drove the mile or so to the wedding venue, the groom OK'd the suit and pants, then Jeff measured my nephew at the venue. We drove back to Heimie's, Jeff tailored the clothes, and we took the clothes back to the venue. Wedding proceeded as planned, the bride wasn't aware that the suit had been replaced until after the wedding ceremony. Thank you Heimie's and Jeff, You were perfect for us!

ZZ…read moreTop One day while I was negotiating a treacherous snow barrier between the street and the sidewalk outside of Heimie's Haberdashery, a most dashingly dressed employee rushed out to save the day, escorting me over the snow pile. I guess my questionable mountaineering skills must have made him nervous! Heimie's hero was just the Sherpa guide I needed for my mini-Everest expedition. I can't thank him enough for helping, especially since he wasn't even wearing any winter gear...just his fancy shmancy suit. Heimie's snowbank conqueror was so impeccably dressed that I'm sold on purchasing a bow tie here for my six-year-old nephew very soon. He will be going on his first official chaperoned ice cream date with a young lady determined to marry him in the future, and he specifically requested a bow tie for the event. Clearly there is a lot at stake for this very serious date, so he will need a dapper tie that is sure to impress! No pressure, Heimie's, no pressure.

If you're not a runner, that doesn't mean this store isn't for you. But if you are, I think you'll find all that you need here! (Including those gross sucrose gel packets) For me, I'm on my feet all day for work as a scientist, and I've bought the past 4 pairs of shoes here, and I've had no complaints! The staff are very knowledgeable, so let them know your concerns (plantar fasciitis? More/less cushion? Over-pronated/supinated?) When it comes to the value, you get what you pay for. They're able to charge under market value, but they can still be expensive. With this in mind, they do have a generous sales room where shoes can be ~$20-40 off (I haven't been there often enough to know how the sales change, so I might be off). All in all, I highly recommend this place for your next sneaker purchase, athlete or not.

There are no Nordstrom Rack stores in my area, and I wanted to find something. I found some blonde conditioner. A pet peave of mine is no price tags or stickers. There is some Clinique makeup but no prices. I brought the blonde conditioner to the front. I'm hoping it was under $20. It scanned at $10.99. I owed $1.90 in overage and tax. I use blonde conditioner for my silver hair. They have some type of rewards program, but I live far away from Nordstrom Rack, and I rarely go to Mall of America.
