The driver who caused the crash had literally parked his car perpendicular across the freeway and then disappeared, making it extremely difficult to track down his information. We hired a lawyer and started the process, and during that time my wife kept seeing Morgan & Morgan's ads promising big settlements and strong representation. We switched to them based on those claims. That's where the problems began. It took months just to identify the other driver's insurance. It took even longer to get any medical follow‑up beyond what we received the night of the accident. Every step dragged on far past what we were told to expect. Meanwhile, my wife needed dental care for accident‑related issues, and that went nowhere too. From October through December, we were repeatedly told the settlement was "almost done." It wasn't. We finally signed the settlement offer on December 17, 2025, and as of February 2, 2026, we are still waiting for the funds. The only reason anything moved at all was because my wife and I kept sending emails and text messages just to get basic updates. Morgan & Morgan advertises "three times what insurance offers" and "billions recovered." That may be true for their big cases, but our experience was the opposite. Our case was small, and it felt like it was pushed to the back of the line and left to sit in limbo. When I finally spoke with a supervisor, I got a lot of excuses and vague promises, but no real action. The biggest issues: * Terrible communication * No consistent updates * Long delays with no explanation * A clear sense that smaller cases don't matter to them Based on our experience, I would strongly warn others to look elsewhere.
