So there I was in my 17 Sierra Denali on I-94 east traveling across country. About 100 miles outside of Bismarck I notice that I was only producing about 11 volts on the charging system. I know I have seen my voltage meter on or about 14, so this was concerning (note, I usually have my dash setting on technology which does not show the voltage). As I got more concern about this, I decided to get this thing checked out and pulled into O'Rielly's to have the charging system checked... it failed. I then came to your service department, praying that they could fit me in. The team took the codes and related that nothing came up. They also told me that there was a bulletin about this that indicated the charging system would change depending how much load was on the system... I was like "What" mind blown. The team told me that this is normal. However, I was still concerned and asked if they could check the system, without hesitation, they said yes. Thirty minutes later, they told me everything checked out, here are your keys, we got the truck washed for you and enjoy your trip. I asked how much I owed and they told me nothing, just enjoy your trip and don't worry about your charging system. Again, mind blown. I want to personally thank the service team, and what a wonderful breath of fresh air to know that taking care of customers is the paramount mission with your business. I will probably never make it back to your neighborhood and your team knew that up front, but still went the extra mile to take care of a GMC owner. I have many family members that have or are working for GM and have been a lifelong customer. This visit is one of the great reasons I remain loyal to GM. Thanks again to your service department... I bought a used Yukon Denali a little over a month ago. I'm a single mother of 2 and very pregnant. We were very excited with our purchase. However a friend found an oil leak on the under carriage and said you need to take this in and have them fix this because this was definitely here before you bought it. I took it it and got a phone call saying they aren't going to fix it unless I pay the $1500. I'm very disappointed since I had just purchased it and my sales man had told me if I find anything they'll fix it. read more

A little odd for a drive thru oil change but once we got in there it was very convenient to be able to sit in the truck while they changed our oil and rotated our tires. The staff was friendly and helpful and even offered water and coffee while we waited. We will be returning with our vehicles each time they need an oil change. read more

Put 2199 miles on vehicle I purchased from Schwans GMC in Mandan ND. The vehicle passed a complete inspection according to the sales person. Had to have it towed to the shop yesterday. It cost $1781.00 For a new battery, a headlight bulb and a 2 hoses replaced for the power steering pump. They just lost a customer!!! read more

Our day started out TERRIBLE. As we were coming to do our trade, our vehicles transmission went out, right then and there I thought well great, this is a done deal, I wont be getting my new car. I called our sales guy Tyler, and he was more than accommodating getting out a tow truck to Dickinson to meet the other tow truck we had take us there, and a separate vehicle to ride back to Bismarck in. He assured it wasn't that big of a deal, its happened before, and they would just take the difference off the cost of a new tranny from our trade. I feel we were given a very fair price on the cost of a new tranny and once we got to Schwan, our paperwork process went very quickly and smoothly and we got our new car!! :) I want to thank everyone there that helped in our very stressful situation. I thought we were doomed, and it all worked out and they kept me calm. I will defiantly do business here again and have already told many friends the awesome customer service we received! read more

I am on the fence right now. My wife is in the process of trying to get some items covered on the vehicle we bought last week from Schwan GMC in Mandan ND. The salesman told us everything was in good shape and inspected and if we had a problem with anything let him know and he would take care of it. It was a quick decision because we were told the vehicle was probably sold by the start of the business day on Monday. So now we bought it and found some Items that are falling off and they do not want to cover them. So I spend $49,000 on a vehicle and they take the money and run and don't care if we ever come back? I will see what happens when she goes back to see what there decision is, and maybe change my post? what would anyone else do? Give it back and ask for our money back. read more

This is by far the worst dealership i have ever experianced, i was not from the area but working there when my car got wrecked by an idiot driver and it was the insurance companies suggestion to have it fixed there, the damage came out to be nearly $10k which i thought would have been totaled and after getting my car back from them i wish it would have been totaled. when i got my car back, my keyless entry and remote start did not work, and the tire pressure system was somehow magically deleted from my BCM, my trunk lock no longer fits my key, the read door latch no longer works, i had to pay for a wheel bearing out of pocket they denied anything was wrong with.......now 6 month later after their shit "environmentally friendly" paint has cure every damn scratch that was fron the accident is visable along with the paint now flakeing off and they will not do anything to fix the problems, it took them 3 months and about 5 times back to them for them to correct their mistakes at which i had to pay for a rental car out of my own pocket because they refused to when it was because of their shitty workmanship my car had to go back so many times, i also had to pay for a headlight out of pocket because it was broken either when they ordered if from GM or when they installed it and the light beams were unadjustable and high, causeing other drivers to be blinded, if i had had the money at the time i would have sued them for every penny i could get, as now it is going to cost me $14k out of pocket to fix their mistakes and have the entire car repainted again the right way and tradeing in isnt an option b/c i already have another car payment on a car i am not willing to use for work............ STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COST they have the worst workmanship i have ever seen and do nothing at all to take care of their customers read more

Worst oil change experience ever....as I was sitting in my vehicle waiting for the vehicle in front of me to finish they left the garage door open and I thought oh cool....apparently the guy under the vehicle doing the oil change didn't care because he was sitting on his phone....seriously?! When it was finally my turn to pull in the advisor asked me if I wanted my windows washed....sure.....the gentleman who was the window washer for the day stood there and stared at me and then wrote the advisor a note and walked away.....he NEVER did wash my windows....but he did wash the windows of the vehicle next to me.....so peeved....I asked the advisor why he didn't wash my windows an all he said was "oh he's goofy sometimes" this was the first and LAST time I will ever take my vehicle here!!!! read more
