Amazing wine from an intimate, family-owned, winery. Absolutely beautiful setting and fun atmosphere. It's great to be able to engage with the wine maker and family directly. Love this place!

First Grape Stomp Event and the owner's are wonderful. Scenary is amazing and the Port wine deliciously defines the vineyard.

We attended the Grape Stomp and learned alot about the process, from picking, harvesting, crushing and how they measure the bricks once the grapes have been combined and crushed. It was basically hands on, so we had the opportunity to pick and stomp on the grapes we gathered. In continued to a small luncheon out on the lawn with the beautiful scenary of the vineyard. It was such a unique experience to meet the owners and learn how they do everything from the grown on up, from picking, harvesting, crushing, bottling and so on. Overall, the owners and staff seemed very hospitable, knowledgeable and provided a warm welcoming, not to mention they made sure we always had a full glass of wine.

We had a lovely drive up the mountain to Schweiger vineyards. I really enjoyed their family history and seeing the beautiful grounds. Our tasting was on a beautiful balcony overlooking the most beautiful scenery. The wine was lovely as well.

One attribute we pride ourselves on at WeWine Napa is sourcing wine tastings that we know will exceed guest expectations. When asked to include a sustainable option it's easy to recommend Schweiger who pride themselves on wine that is grown, produced, and bottled on the estate. Located at the top of the Spring Mountain district Schweiger is surrounded by rolling hillside vineyards at an elevation of 2,000 square feet with views that will leave you in awe. Their tasting room is modern and includes an outdoor terrace to relax and soak in the nature.   Upon arrival guests are usually greeted by winemaker Andy Schweiger which is always an added pleasure. During the tasting you are presented with five of their current releases which all vary in varietal and character.  Be sure to pair with their artisan cheese plate and charcuterie board to compliment the experience. Cheers!

Spring Mountain beauty and excellence in grape harvest with this phenomenal fruit. Enter the gate into the vineyard and get taken in by the sheer majesty of the terroir and vista. Magnificent! Once here you know it's time for the wine itself. The entire staff including Wendy and Andy the owner/winemaker are truly friendly and genuine. You know this is not always the deal among Napa Valley Wineries as they can be pretty self centered. You feel welcome and take the entire experience in by just relaxing. The Cabernet Sauvignon is spectacular (this grape is why we love Napa Valley in the first place...right?)...Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot...OK...Love em all! A true wine country experience with wine, friendly staff, magnificent views and a couple of cool doggies all intertwined for a great day!

I started off my birthday with a tasting at Schweiger Vineyards. It was a great choice. This is a small family-owned winery up on Spring Mountain. We were there on a foggy morning, so didn't get the mountain views, but did have a nice view of the vineyards while doing our tasting. I can't say enough good things about Wendy. I felt more like I was talking to a good friend about wine instead of doing a tasting. She's super knowledgeable, friendly and down to earth. She also gave us some great recommendations of other places to visit. We loved all the wines we tried, and shipped home some of the Cab Sauv, the Gate Block Cab Sauv, Dedication, Merlot, Cab Franc, Chardonnay and Iteration. I highly recommend you make an appointment and go for a visit.

My parents and I took a visit to Schweiger and had a fabulous time! Julia was our wine host and she made us feel very welcomed along with Sally and Fred (the owners)! The wine was delicious, beautiful views and tasting on their patios was great! We also met Andy who mixes the wine which was also very cool. Our favorite thing was the personal hosting of the family owned winery and definitely left an impression on us! A must visit!

Awesome first stop on our Napa wine tour. Jenny and Lucy were an added and welcome surprise. The view, wine and professional service were equally appreciated. This is a must see stop on any visit.

Kinda difficult to see past the leaves but such an awesome view! Thus is at the entrance

Ok, can I say that Gregg W. must either be a total neanderthal and moron and unable to understand what his wine host was saying and the d8scussion just went over his head. He also must have been so wasted he couldn't see because Schweiger has some of the nicest, most gorgeous views on Napa Valley that ypu can't possibly miss if you actually go there! I think Gregg W. got his wineries mixed up and his review was for some other place. I have been multiple times so i have been there when its busier and when not, I've seen all of the staff in action and all are amazing, gracious and knowledgeable hosts (Erin is especially fun, Karen is just super cool). This was a new find earlier this year. My husband and I both enjoyed all the wines and more than one stood out for each of us. To top it off, their wines are very reasonably priced. Love this place!

I have done different wine tastings before with my Reckless Seekers Group but never had a wine tasting tour in a vineyard. My boyfriend and I had a wine tasting tour for our first year anniversary and it was highly recommended to us to go to Schweiger Vineyards. Acres of grapevines welcomed us as we parked our vehicle. Wine-Maker Mr. Andrew Schweiger was so hospitable and showed us the area. He explained to us a bit of the wine-making history of the Schweigers. I actually learned a lot of info about the different types of grapes and how they become wines and how they differ from one another. It was awesome! We then started tasting their Chardonnay. I'd say that it was tingly smooth. I loved it. We then went inside their tank and barrel rooms. We tasted all their reds and they were all great! My favorite was the Port and Dedication. I definitely recommend them. This wine tasting tour was really quite an eye-opener for me because it gave me a lot of info about how wine was made and how each type differ from one another. It was a really great experience. This is the type of wine tasting tour I'd organize with my Reckless Seekers Group. I totally want my members to experience the tour I had. It's worth it!

It was so intimate and personable - one of the best winery tours we've had. The wines are also excellent - we were particularly stunned by the chardonnay and syrah which are wines we tend to stay away from, but Pride produced such delicious ones that we changed our minds on them! The view here is stunning, too. But I highly recommend getting a private driver since the drive up the hill is quite a hike!

Our host, Krista, was so knowledgeable, open to repeat/answer any questions, and is so good at holding conversations! I felt so enlightened and energized because of her absolute good vibes. Krista ended up showing us a variety of different wines, but the most notable wine was the very beginning. My friends and I were limited in our wine knowledge and he admitted that he felt like all wine tastes the same. However, once we took our very first sip, the fruity, buttery notes completely changed our minds. She sets the image about drinking this near a pool and I immediately would get transported to her explanations. It was giving "Remy" from "Ratatouille" moment when you close your eyes and see/feel all the different imagery. Throughout the tour, we are educated on the fact that they have two different addresses because they are at the border of both Sonoma County and Napa! Literally best of both worlds! Afterwards, we tried multiple different wines in their caves and educated on the different notes, how to hold our wine glasses, and the importance of everything. Before this experience, I was completely unaware of what to look for, but now I feel like I have a better understanding of everything. Certain notes I didn't even expect like the peppery taste in one of the wines. It was so cool knowing that these type of caves and winery exists and I feel like our host, Krista, made our experience even BETTER. Thank you Krista for showing us around. This was completely unforgettable and I WILL BE coming again!

Romeo holds a special place in our hearts because we visited them a little over seven years ago. During that experience (which you can read about in my previous review - if interested), my wife and I had a grand experience with former Business Manager Emma, who administered the delicious tastings. Fast forward to the present, we looked forward to enjoying a glass of their finest red before finding lunch. Upon entering the walkway, we were enthusiastically greeted by an employee named John who quickly ushered us to a vacant table for two. My wife had a slight reaction to the beautiful flowers that were in full bloom. Out of the kindness of his heart, John provided my wife with a bottle of Pure Leaf tea that calmed her allergies. We told John that we were interested in enjoying a glass of red, in which he quickly ran off and returned with a bottle of 2009 Eugenia Cabernet Sauvignon. Upon doing the swirl and sniff test (sounds dirty doesn't it?), I knew that we were in for a treat. Since we were both in dire need of a meal, we sadly could not continue the party. However, we will make a return visit in the near future to enjoy a full tasting experience!
