Friends introduced me to this place a few years ago and it now has become a ritual stop if i am on the mountain drinking or visiting friends. Their wines are fine examples of style and taste that can only come from Spring Mountain. I look forward every summer to the release of their summer blend, a refreshing combination of fruit, acid and floral -- a great everyday wine. If you go ask about their secret wine, its an amazing 50% Cab 50% Merlot blend from vines that are "side by side." Its worth a visit, the staff are warm and welcoming and know their stuff. Drink Up!

Absolutely perfect place for a wine tasting in Napa. Great wines, superb location and excellent staff. The cab franc is a must try.

Keenan Winery was recommended to us by the wine buyer at our local wine shop. I was trying to do a variety of tastings and thought a Spring Mountain winery was a good choice. It's a pleasant drive up Spring Mountain Road and there is a nice view from the balcony in the tasting room. Reservations are required and can be made online through CellarPass. Tastings here are more casual and low-key than other wineries, which I prefer. I tend towards chardonnay and big, bold red wines. They had a nice selection of both. My husband particularly liked the Zinfandel. We ended up buying a 2013 Chardonnay, two 2012 Merlots, a 2012 Cabernet Franc, a 2012 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and a 2012 Zinfandel. Since it's summer now and our order has to be sent across the country, they are holding it for a Fall shipment. I look forward to getting it. Cheers!

Dollar-for-dollar, I will challenge anyone to find a finer blend than Keenan's 50/50 Cab/Merlot "Mernet".

The staff was very welcoming and there were a ton of different locations to drop in and taste; upstairs at their artistic bar space, outside by the vineyards, on the patio, in the grassy area, etc. This place looks like they can accommodate and welcome everyone (including your well behaved furry family member). We had a reservation for the inside bar space. Joego (Joseph Ogo) was so much fun to taste with. He had the energy and conversations skills that are unmatched, making all of us feel welcomed, joking, sarcastic, serious, etc. He knows how to read the room and cater to his clients/customers. He took the time to understand our palettes and poured what he thought best suited our likes, and he nailed it! Big fan of the WALT pinot noirs! Definitely plan on coming back again in the future.

The wine was really good and the family tours make it even more fun because you're not just there looking at a bunch of walls . You actually get to learn some of the history behind the castle and how everything came together. And when I say this place has rooms on rooms on rooms... they were not playing! There's so much to see throughout the castle, from the different rooms and hallways to all the little details that make you feel like you stepped into another time period. The higher you get, the better the views too. Being up top and looking out over the Napa Valley was definitely one of my favorite parts. You can really sit back and take in the scenery and understand why people come out here to visit. The family tour was fun, the wine was good, the atmosphere was great, and there's plenty to look at. Definitely worth stopping by if you're doing a Napa trip and want something a little different than just winery hopping. 4 -- Fun experience, good wine, beautiful views, and a LOT of history packed into one castle! .

The best thing about Alpha Omega is that is that it's very family friendly. Not many wineries welcome children and this location was very accommodating. Our children were well behaved, I kept them occupied with lots of arts and craft activities, but my child still end up knocking over a glass of wine. Our server Jokayla was so gracious with us and helped us clean up. She was also very accommodating with everyone's taste preferences and offered customized recommendations for us. This is one of the wineries that did not require an upfront charge to enter which I appreciate so much. Not everyone in our party drank. Up to 2 adults can share a $75 flight of wine. If you purchase 2 or more bottles of wine, the tasting fee is waived. The pours are also plenty so this is a great deal. I just loved their flexibility. Valet parking was free! The winery is upscale, with beautiful views of the vineyard and the water fountain if you get terrace seating. We had reservations for 10:30am and had front row at the terrace. I am a white wine connoisseur because of my dietary restrictions with most ingredients in red wines, especially cherries and plum, that trigger my stomach pain and headaches. I have missed enjoying red wine because of this. I was hoping and praying that when my friends who are members of PEJU planned this wine tasting treat, that my stomach and head would be fine and to my surprise, my palate, tongue, stomach and heart were pleased with the Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Fifty/Fifty, and more, including reserve reds Todd served and educated us about!
