Came for a tasting with friends who are members, definitely worth visiting! The grounds and the views are absolutely incredible! You do the tasting surrounded by the horses in their stalls. The wines are also really tasty. The woman pouring for us was also amazing! She was able to answer all our questions and gave us a great overall experience. Would definitely come back next time we are in the area!

We got to go back to Tamber Bey recently in September because his cousin Anne came to visit. So we entered the winery and Robert Braun was there to welcome us with a splash of their Sauvignon Blanc and it's a good one!! It has the lean style of tropical fruit and stone fruit like apricot, white peach and nectarine. After checking in Robert welcomed us out in the patio area to take any seats that were open! We had a seat and then Robert brought out a Chardonnay to pour for us and I get flavors oak from the 40% new oak and some ml ferm but not much butter in it. More of an apple flavor and toast. Then he brought out a Rose' GSM 50% Syrah 25% Grenache and 25% Mourvèdre and it has flavors of raspberry and strawberry jam and a nice kick of acidity but overall juicy and delicious. A slight sweetness in the finish! And I gave it a 4.1 on a 5.0 scale and now we got into the reds and these are made by Thomas River Brown! He won winemaker of the year and is a well known producer of wine!! So Robert is explaining the wines as we taste and he starts us off with the Pinot Noir which is great love it. And I taste cherry, black cherry and raspberry!! And it finishes with medium high acidity! I gave it a 4.3 a relatively high score. Then he pours. the Merlot which is delicious and has flavors of Blackberry blueberry and black cherry, then some savory herbs oak cocoa earthy cedar tobacco forest floor with a long luxurious finish! Then we get into the Cabs to which he poured us the Now this is a Cabernet Franc of 77% and then 13% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and this is delicious wine!! I'm getting flavors of raspberry and bold blueberry that's rich and filling! Plus flavors of leather pepper coffee earthy and oak. This is a full flavored Cab Franc dominant wine! Rated a 4.3 Then he poured is the Tamber Bey Calistoga Cabernet Nice Cabernet Sauvignon from Tamber Bey 2021 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and I am loving it and and I get flavors of blackberry, rich plum and herbes de Provence! And the medium acidity and medium tannins! Rated 4.4 and then Robert poured us the Oakville estate Cabernet Sauvignon Robert thinks this wine sees about 80% new oak which is great and seems right for Thomas River Brown retail is $175.00 which has flavors of Blackberry sauce, and black cherry, and flavors of plum, cherry, old leather, dark chocolate, cassis, raspberry, cigar box, cedar, tar, and truffle, and menthol or eucalyptus. And Eucalyptus is the best flavor in the wines!! I rated this a 4.6!! Yes it's that good. Then the girls went to check out the horses and they have a great set up at the winery where people can spend time with the horses through a door way!! And it was an exceptional tasting!! Please try it and let me know!

Recently was in Napa Valley, and was really excited to try some of their wines. I by no means am a connoisseur, but do enjoy the occasional drink. Tamber Bey was the final stop, and we specifically chose it because we were traveling with our dog and was a dog friendly vineyard. Of note, you should get a reservation prior to deciding to go, which can be done online. You can also opt into a picnic lunch option provided through a local spot, (which we did and was excellent), which is delicious albeit a little pricey Immediately felt like it was going to be a wonderful experience. John greeted us with a glass of white wine prior to even starting the tasting experience. Loved that he talked us through the wine experience and taught us even the basics of wine, what to pair each wine with at home, and gave us a new appreciation for the wines. In terms of the winery, there is a small dog area for dogs to be able to relieve themselves so that was also nice. It was so relaxing to be there as well, and to top it off they also have horses right there (retired and current polo horses) that you can say hello to, if they also want to of course. Overall was a great experience and special thank you to John for being a huge part of that experience

Tamber Bay is a true equestrian vibe with exquisite Wine, in Calistoga! Entering the property you'll be transported onto a traditional ranch with more than 20 beautiful horses on the property. When you visit, please be mindful of keeping your speed down to 5mph through the ranch/vineyard, and do not make any sudden moves or loud noises while near the horses. They have a small indoor bar tasting area that can accommodate approximately 15 guests, but the outdoor patio area has ample space for a larger group or for those solo tasters that prefer the fresh air and a neighing stallion/mare in the background. Let's talk wine! I tasted 3 delicious wine: * Sauvignon Blanc * Rosé * Cab Franc So grab your and , then stop in for a visit and tell them a Diva sent you! Cheers

Came for a tasting here mostly to see the horses. Was; $50/$75/ tasting. Enjoyed seeing the horses and the view. It was hot this afternoon, so sat out for the first two wines of the tasting, then moved inside: Sauv Blanc, Chardonnay, rose, Pinot noir, Rubicano, and cab sauv. Really enjoyed talking to the horse groomer, Eddie, and our server, Kevin. Briefly met the owner, Barry, and his wife; neither were very friendly. Don't think we'll come back.

We didn't eat, but the tasting is top notch. Cher is committed to ensuring your service and knowledge exceeds expectations. The ambiance of the courtyard tasting area is relaxed, beautiful and has horse stalls that ensures you have excellent company while tasting a variety of great wines. We didn't try a single wine we didn't like. Would recommend visiting!

We had our tasting with Cher and she was amazing and so personable! We loved our time, it was so beautiful and we loved the horses and ambiance. Less trafficked than some wineries. We loved it here.

Beautiful location, great wine, and incredible service! Highly recommend stopping by!

A local recommendation for this incredible estate - has kept us coming back as members year after year. The property is stunning with the ranch as the center of the experience. Always add the cookie pairing to your tasting... I promise it is a unique experience the elevates your time, and slows you down to really taste each wine. The service is always a 6/5 for us. The views outside and seating inside make it worth a stop any time of year.

If you're on your way to Clearlake, this is right at the bottom before the mountain you take up. You must make a reservation and I'm glad we did! We were able to snag a spot by a cozy heat lamp and loveseat. One of my favorite touches was the "pet relief area". My puppy had a blast playing with the jolly ball on the grass area and getting some energy out. Our host was Cole and he did a great job explaining the history of the winery and each tasting. Also obsessed with their candles we got a couple to go. We will definitely be back!

I've been to Tamber Bey a few times, in both the summer and winter months, and am always blown away by the overall ambiance and experience. The tasting room and winery is located on a horse ranch (with several rescues!). The grounds are gorgeous and unique, and the staff cares about sharing the history and culture with guests. I've been given a semi private tour during both of my visits (for free!), and got to feed one of the horses during my visit last summer. Wine is delicious and pairs lovely with the picnic lunch we had catered by our friends at Sam's General Store. Always a very special experience. Thank you to Cole - for the service yesterday, and for hooking up me and my friends with a last minute tasting at the amazing Tedeschi Family Winery afterward. I will be back!

Tamber Bey -- such an AWESOME winery with genuinely great people running it. We've had the pleasure of going here for various harvest parties and let me tell you -- what a treat! This is a small privately owned winery with really down to earth owners. The owner and his wife seem to be super friendly down to earth people. All their wines are top notch -- beautifully crafted. If you have the opportunity to attend one of their harvest parties you won't be disappointed. We have been twice and both times are such a treat - from the live music to the food, to the people. And suffice it to say, if you like equine culture, this is the spot! Big thumbs up.

This tour took you into the bowels of the castle where you got to see where they stored the wine and places where the wine was made. Believe it or not this is an unusual experience and I would say worth every minute of the tour. Having said that this is a castle that was brought over from Italy brick by brick. So the dungeon isn't a real dungeon and the tunnels aren't exactly tunnels from the 1600s but still you get the feeling of how the Winery operates. It's truly an experience that you won't have anywhere else in Napa. They also have a mini animal farm on the property that you see once you exit the facility. This is a nice little experience for the children who go on the tour. The gift shop is actually an excellent one with unusual items not normally found in the local gift shops. I purchased several of their aiders as gifts and everyone loves them. If you can order them online, I would do so they're very unusual and a great gift for wine lovers.

There's so much to see throughout the castle, from the different rooms and hallways to all the little details that make you feel like you stepped into another time period. The higher you get, the better the views too. Being up top and looking out over the Napa Valley was definitely one of my favorite parts. You can really sit back and take in the scenery and understand why people come out here to visit. The family tour was fun, the wine was good, the atmosphere was great, and there's plenty to look at. Definitely worth stopping by if you're doing a Napa trip and want something a little different than just winery hopping. 4 -- Fun experience, good wine, beautiful views, and a LOT of history packed into one castle! .

Upon entering the walkway, we were enthusiastically greeted by an employee named John who quickly ushered us to a vacant table for two. My wife had a slight reaction to the beautiful flowers that were in full bloom. Out of the kindness of his heart, John provided my wife with a bottle of Pure Leaf tea that calmed her allergies. We told John that we were interested in enjoying a glass of red, in which he quickly ran off and returned with a bottle of 2009 Eugenia Cabernet Sauvignon. The entire tasting was quite rushed with the staff member coming over with the next bottle standing waiting while we finished the second half of each glass hurriedly. Whole tasting was rushed into 30 minutes while the two other tables, there before us, were still able to take their time and enjoy.
