I have been a Terminix customer for approximately 20 years. I had my quarterly service a few weeks…read moreback, and the Technician suggested to get a free termite inspection. The tech scheduled me for 6/23/25 between the hours of 3pm and 5pm. A few days earlier, I received a text from Angel, the guy doing the termite inspection. He asked if he could come a week earlier, June 16th between 3pm to 5p. I told him that would be fine, and he confirmed the date change and time. I left work earlier on the June 16th and the tech never showed up or texted me advising he was no longer coming. A few days later. I received another text saying they scheduled the termite inspection on June 23rd. I acknowledged the text and confirmed the new date and time. Again no one showed up and I had to leave work early. On Monday June 23rd I contacted the local branch (West Berlin) to speak with a manager. The lady I spoke with said Richard Leatherman the branch manager will respond within 48 hours. Of course no one called back. I called again on June 25th and they advised Richard was notified via email but still no call back. I was very pleased with my service until now. I had to leave work early both days to accommodate the inspection and no one showed up on both days. Not to mention I am still waiting from Richard Leatherman the branch manager to call me back. Looking at other comments I see a trend that they don't show up on the date they say. I am very dissatisfied with Terminix.

They were good about coming out to collect mice in traps, but they wont actually go into the attic. Won't put poison in the outside bait boxes, just use an enticer to guage activity by how much vermin sharpened their teeth on the bait. Won't fix an opening. Finally, the problem became so severe that a chipmunk tunneled under our paver stoop and it collasped. That would be yet another contract, not covered but mine. I ended up firing Viking and hired another competitor who was expensive but fixed the entry points, made repairs and in 2 months has the issue under control (so far). I lived with scratching and chewing noises in the walls and attic for 2 years; I could have set mouse traps myself!

I went there right after they left the property and found frass on a window sill inside the house. This was not on the report. I asked for them to go back and check the window sill. The rude lady on the phone (the inspector wife) told me that it was most likely fine and didn't need them to go back to check. I insisted and got an appointment for them to go back and check what was missed. Today, my agent told me that they called the seller's agent and they had a nasty attitude. And told the agent to tell me that they went to the property without actually going. This company is not trustworthy. Take your business elsewhere. Ps: They also missed a mud dubber next on the exterior of that window. Edit: gaslighting is the opposite of honesty.
