They told me it was MY FAULT these charges were added and that they didn't know I was moving out of my apartment because I never sent them an updated intent to vacate document. In fact I had proof in my email that I sent it back to the same email that was CURRENTLY CONTACTING ME. Instead of apologizing, this ignorant person doubled down saying "well, I can't speak to that because I didn't see it." she tried to tell me someone higher up was working on the charges but I didn't trust anyone in that office at this point, so I asked for contact info to talk to them myself. they refused.. the charges were eventually taken off to reflect only 12 days of residency for the month, but for the way ai was treated, the arrogance, and the lack of communication and competence in management, I don't think I should be charged at all for the month, especially considering they downright refused to let me speak with a higher up. If you are looking at this dump, do yourself a favor and don't move here!!!!

I believe my rent to start was $1150 and the second year it was $1255 for a 1 bedroom. It was quiet during my first year but this year it got louder with more small kids moving in and dogs. The grounds are kept very clean and management lets everyone know when cars need to be moved for plowing, when grass is being treated, when unauthorized non- residents are violating the pool, and on occasion theft. There's assigned parking however, the second yr the newer residents starting parking in my spot a lot and causing me to have dents on my passenger door. The laundry rooms could be a lot better. There's constantly dog hairs/fur in the machines, yuck! However there is a way through an app to alert the company when a machine is malfunctioning which happened sometimes and I swear it's because of all the dog hairs clogging up the system. Unfortunately there is only 2 spots to reload the balance on your laundry card. I had suggested multiple times that all the laundry rooms should be able to have a reload card system. My first year there was an ice cream truck that would come every Friday but the second year that disappeared. Both summers the pool opened up late well after Memorial Day and 4th of July. Then the pool would close early for the season so if you're lucky you might get 6 weeks out of it. The BBQ area is only available on the other side of the complex so bring a Wagon or drive to the BBQ area but then you'll have to travel back to your unit away to use the rest room. Hardly no one uses the basketball court or tennis court and maybe they should consider converting those into BBQ areas as well. The CONS: There are hidden fees and they rush you out the unit even if you tell them you're buying a house and need a few more days or weeks, nope they don't give a damn. They offer to hike your rent up $400, from $1255 to $1600 for no reason. It's not like you're asking for extra square footage. Your lease ends you better find a safe place to sleep in your car or secure an AirBnB.

They've gotten WORSE. The snow plow crew has gotten stuck on our property several times and no salt has been spread on the roads. Sidewalks have not been done yet as of 9:08 am on 2/24/26. 10-12 inches of snow in CT is not a big deal so please DO NOT tell me it is. Premier's Owner (who shall remain nameless and useless) exploits a loophole in the State's Condo Owner's Act and has (2) licensed CAM's. The rest of his staff works under him and have NO WORK ETHIC WHATSOEVER. Our Property Manager has got to be THE WORST. BTW......she is related to the owner ( who shall remain nameless and useless) Work orders in their "GoEnumerate" system hardly ever get acknowledge so we send our requests to our PM and she reads the subject line and sends back an email saying "Thank you" or "Someone will be out next week." Next week never comes. That same "GoEnumerate" system in 2024; instead of taking out one month of HOA fees as authorized on the "portal" took out 3 payments. I have the screenshots if anyone out there is interested. Now I hand deliver my HOA payment in a postal money order so they have no banking or credit card information on file. Many owner's are now, finally beginning to have no faith in Premier and are voicing it loudly. Our Board doesn't care ESPECIALLY OUR PRESIDENT. I said it before and will say it again. There are a ton of property manager companies in CT not on Google. DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE CHOOSING A COMPANY WITH SO MANY BAD REVIEWS. They even file their paperwork with the Secretary of State late and have received a few forfeiture of license letters from the Secretary. Run far and fast. You have a choice. Choose wisely. Here is a picture of my steps and sidewalk. I'm a handicapped individual with gait issues due to strokes and severe arthritis. I have imaging appointments today. This should be interesting.

    Countrywood At Enfield

    Countrywood At Enfield

An overall good place to live…read more My wife and I lived in one of Countrywood's "loft" apartments for almost exactly four years. - Decent price given all that's included. Monthly rent is a little higher than other places in the area, but those extra dollars manifest themselves in things like well-manicured grounds, a clean and mechanically-maintained laundry room, etc. - Utilities in the area aren't a huge problem. Having the option of not having Comcast was a big plus for us. One problem: electric bill had a tendency to vary wildly with the seasons, going from around $50 in the winter to around $150 in the summer. Those apartment-provided air conditioners get hungry fast. - There's plenty of parking. Each unit gets one assigned parking space, and all remaining vehicles / guest vehicles have to fend for themselves with the "extra" spaces in the lot. In four years living there I never failed to find an extra space somewhere relatively close to our building. - Maintenance orders were generally fulfilled quickly, depending on the severity of the problem. Issues with blown lights and general plumbing issues were all fixed quickly. My wife and I had some sort of leak in the ceiling of our kitchen which was examined several times and not fixed over the course of a year and a half. Near the end we started getting worried they would take it out of our security deposit to fix it; they told us they would not. - Snow removal could be a problem. The management and maintenance teams don't live on-site, and the manager contracted out snow removal, meaning that in intervals of high snowfall, we often wound up with a cursory plowing that was meant to last us a few days until they could come and do a more thorough job. There was little organization to snow removal - no directions as to when to park your car on what side of the lot so they could plow one side and then the other, etc. We actually got plowed in a couple of times. - Access to other areas is as decent as anything in Enfield. There's no public transit; the only easily walkable destinations are the post office, a slightly sketchy cash-only convenience store, and a very high-quality family-owned local dairy farm. For everything else you'll need a car; but the complex's location right off Rte. 5 and only a couple of minutes from I-91 make it relatively easy to get where one needs to go. - Crime was never a huge issue. The police showed up a few times over the years we were there, mostly for EMS calls or for domestic disturbances, but to the best of my knowledge, nothing serious ever developed along that front. There was an incident relatively soon after we arrived wherein someone who didn't live at the complex got into the laundry room and stole some clothes; management reacted immediately by changing the locks and giving us a new, separate keys to the laundry. - Interesting side note: many local eateries refused to the deliver to the apartment. I couldn't tell you why; they always just said, "Sorry, we don't deliver to that area."
