I finally spoke with someone in the Holbrook office who was very nice and confirmed that I had cancelled the day before and she had alerted Scituate to that information. I did have a good experience with the hygienist and dentist last time I went, but this front desk person is the reason I will not return.

They would not…read moreperform a simple cleaning without getting to do X-rays first, claiming that they would not be able to see what is going on in the root zone without X-rays. They did not collect existing X-rays from prior dental providers. They claim that annual X-rays are their standard of care. I was assured that dental X-rays are low radiation and that "you're exposed to more radiation from walking outside." They were able to get me in the same day. They were very friendly and took their time with me. Dr. Murphy and assistant Ann worked together to carefully adjust and then reattach my crown. The second visit was to start the treatment plan. I haven't been near a drill in a long time, and have had some really bad experiences before. But I felt so comfortable with their office I got myself in there. Debbie was so kind and made me feel comfortable, just like Santa did at my first visit. Dr. Pronczuk is very gentle and the Novocain was painless, and she actually numbed the teeth, something few dentists in the past had been able to do. The drilling was pain free ! I had a really broken tooth, and it looks like a perfect tooth now ! From Dr. Pronczuk to the secretary, everyone is exceptional. Thank you Santa, Debbie and Dr. Pronczuk !
