It was so hard to do but having it done in the comfort of our home where Mandi lived her whole life was so much more comforting to her and us. I would highly recommend this place and home euthanasia for your furry family members when it's time.

On March 13, 2020, I left work and headed home with a backpack stuffed with my laptop and plenty of…read moresupplies. An educated friend had already informed me that the quarantine could be months. My biggest worry was immediately for my cats. My oldest was to celebrate his 17th birthday in April and despite a positive checkup in January which showed lowered kidney values, in my heart, I knew his remaining time with me would be measured in months not years. "Some cats with do really well with kidney disease--I mean years!" that vet optimistically exclaimed. But it had already been over 2 years since he was diagnosed in the fall of 2017. I had made the decision on home euthanasia back then. Although a very outgoing cat, even in his senior years, Bailey was petrified of the carrier and the car. My vet offered that service but would they now? No. I was sick with worry; what if that time came while everything was shut down? Vets were an essential service but I was reading stories of people needing to drop pets off at veterinary doors and I was horrified. All pets give more love than they ever ask for, but Bailey was really special in that regard. This cat lived to be loved and give love. He'd come when called and never could he be satisfied enough to pass up a lap or a chance to cuddle. If I were in a reclined position, he'd lay on my chest and lick my nose. He always knew when I was having a bad day and would be there comforting me. There was no way, NO way, that I was not going to be there for him when he needed me most. I cannot thank Dr. Sarah Lowry enough for continuing to provide these in-home services when both I and Bailey needed them most. And I cannot thank Barbara B. enough for writing her review, which I am sure was difficult to write. Because Dr. Sarah continued providing in-home service and because Barbara B. wrote the review that led me to Dr. Sarah, I was able to set my mind at ease. Bailey and I were truly able to enjoy our last few months together while I worked from home. And when that time came, I made the call to Dr. Sarah and she was there the next morning to help us say goodbye, peacefully at home. Please note: the cost was not expensive either. Dr. Sarah's vision is to keep animals in the stress free environment of their own homes while helping them feel better. If you have an aged or sick pet that could benefit from home veterinary care, acupuncture, or end of life services, I highly recommend giving her a call.
