Brain Freeze - Where Taste Buds Go to Party and Your Brain Yells, "WORTH IT!"…read more If I ever go missing, check Brain Freeze first. Deanna and her team are the real reason my GPS keeps rerouting me back there like it's a rescue mission for my soul (and sweet tooth). Walked in for "just one scoop." Left with a cone taller than my future and a smile so big I had to hold it with both hands. The ice cream? Creamy, dreamy, and possibly churned by angels. Prices? Let's just say I paid less for my sundae than I did for a bottle of water at the gas station. That's sorcery. Delicious, creamy sorcery. Deanna, the mastermind behind this frozen wonderland, is the kind of person who probably gives ice cream to her enemies just to win them over. Her helpers were so friendly and upbeat, I thought I'd wandered into a Disney movie--minus the musical number (although I did hum while eating). Bottom line: Brain Freeze is what would happen if Willy Wonka ditched the chocolate and focused on making the happiest ice cream shop on Earth. 10/10, will absolutely be back... once my taste buds forgive me for the cold snap. P.S. Try the cookie dough. You'll get misty-eyed. It's that good.

Delicious ice cream, tons of options! Not the best interior but I always just get it to go, as do…read moremost people. My only critique is when the line gets long, the service can be super slow and you'll be waiting a while to order.

N.B.: NOT open until 2 AM on Fridays, contrary to Yelp's listed hours. I sent Yelp a correction -…read morefor which they thanked me! But they did not change the listing. Browser beware. Picked up a chocolate croissant and an almond croissant from Voyageurs at the farmers' market by St. Brendan's Inn, where I am staying. Both were delicious, and the almond croissant was huge! I've been snacking on that throughout the day. I mentioned to them that Yelp has them listed as being open until 2 AM on Friday night. They clarified that they close at 2 PM on Friday's, like the rest of the week. Nice folks, very kind and helpful. Their breads looked delectable as well.

First, the sour dough bread is absolutely amazing! Some of the best I've ever had…read more We will definitely continue purchasing the bread. We won't go in for brunch again though. I ordered toast, crispy potatoes, a side of bacon. My daughter ordered eggs Benedict . My order came and the waitress had forgot to put in the potatoes . This was after confirming the order twice. When the potatoes came it was a small portion swimming in some kind of spicy seasoned oil. For $8 I would have expected a bit more portion wise. The bacon was fine. Nothing remarkable, and $4 for two slices. The toast and jam was ok. The toast bordered on burnt and was served without butter. The jam was more like a strained strawberry puree. The toast was tasty, except for the slightly burnt top. The eggs Benedict was $22. For that price they should be stellar! The English muffin had burnt bits, the hollandaise was ok, nothing special , the ham was tasty , but the egg was poached way past the point you would want or expect with eggs Benedict . There was a side of thinly sliced zucchini and squash that was quite tasty . Again, terrific bread- but we will skip the dine in options.
