Apparently, this Poop 911 is now corporate run. They left a pile of waste on my lawn today, and charged me. When I emailed them, I was told they cannot refund my payment. They can only issue me a credit for next week. Their email did provide a comment that since my expectations were not met, they could provide a credit. This is after they did not service the lawn at all last week, based on their new schedule. I cannot imagine anyones expectations being met after paying for a service they did not get. I did respond and indicate the credit for next week does not solve the problem of the waste not being collected. The response I got? They'd send the technician but they were an hour away. It will be dark in an hour, this is not a solution. I am bothered by the lack of interest in making this right. There is something wrong when a long term customer has to tell a company to issue a refund. It took 6 emails to resolve anything. I dont think they have any interest in the customer.

Wednesday afternoon, 4 families lost their homes due to roofers damaging a water pipe and flooding…read morethe building. The city came and condemned the entire building by Wednesday night and we all had to leave. One family has lost everything, the other 3 have lost their homes. While the roofing company and the HOA that hired them are trying to figure out who is responsible, 4 families are looking for a new place to live for the foreseeable future. No relief has come from the roofing company nor the HOA to assist with those efforts. However, I have to tell you all about the amazing people at Magic Pet in Baldwin Park who looked past how busy they already are during the Christmas season, and decided to help the people. As soon as our home was condemned, around 6:30PM Wednesday night, I walked to Magic Pet and told them what had happened and that we needed a place to take our 2 dogs and 2 cats. I told them I didn't know how long they would be there and we needed help. The owner looked at me and said, "Bring Them. Bring Them. We are busy, but we are a community and we are here to help our community. Bring them." I almost cried as one stress was immediately lifted with no questions - just compassion and a willingness to help. If you ever need boarding or grooming services for your pets, they have always treated our sweet pups well - and they are treating the humans well also. While the roofing company and HOA are trying to save as much money as possible and continue to hold someone else responsible for the immense damage, the wonderful owner of Magic Pet made room and DID something to help.
