It's DIY from what I can tell so be prepared. The don't have a cat wash, probably because of all the bandages they'd need. If you're lucky, they'll have some cool cats and kittens on display which you can adopt (aka purchase) so if you're looking for a furry friend, you can stop in and see. I've only seen cats here so far as far as pets that don't need cages. If you have a pet or need a pet, this clean, well stocked store may be the place to go. They threw in once we paid $7,000 that she had a "minor" surgery on her lower stomach (inguinal hernia repair) and that it was common. This information wasn't disclosed to us prior to our interest in taking her home. None the less, we took her home with us (back to upstate NY) where she developed more issues her first few days home. She had a upper respiratory infection, and her sutures were probing inside her stomach.. causing to open up and bleed. These were never removed and/or were we given after care instructions. Luckily we have an amazing vet here who helped us with everything. She had 1 visit to the after hours urgent care.. along with various other nights we considered taking her. She has been in and out of the vet. THEN, ever since she had been home she had coughing, sneezing, kennel cough, loose stools, as well as a UTI.. which as of yesterday.. we were told lab results showed a bacterial infection.. that we've tried to treat but the antibiotic did not fight it. As vet bills have added up every week, as dog owners know can be extremely expensive.. we will do what we can to make sure she is back to normal health.. which she may have never been coming from that place. Our vet is now reaching out to Cornell Medical for further advice. We have had nothing but problems with our poor puppy and pray for good health but would NOT recommend purchasing a puppy from this business. ANYONE who is willing or able to forward this to anyone with authority that can close this place down and put an end to how they treat and handle these poor puppies I highly encourage you do.

The DNA results also showed genetic findings associated with chondrodystrophy and increased IVDD risk, which was not disclosed at the time of sale. I contacted the company immediately and provided the DNA results, microchip information, and requested the correct paperwork and a resolution. They responded once asking whether I wanted to keep or return the puppy. I explained that we were keeping her and wanted to discuss updated documentation, compensation, or another fair resolution. After that, they stopped responding despite multiple follow-up emails. We love our dog, but I feel misled and very disappointed by the lack of transparency and customer service. When I contacted the warrant dept their email has the following disclosure: Our department is not permitted to make outbound calls or receive inbound calls. My own experience lined up with all of these red flags. They forced us to drive ridiculously far for the so-called "first vet visit," instead of letting us go to a trusted vet nearby. Then, before we even had time to settle in with our puppy, they pressured us to write a positive review right away. Who does that? A business that's desperate to cover up their shady practices, not one that actually cares about the animals or their customers. This place doesn't deserve your money, your trust, or even to be in business. They exploit puppies, lie to families, and gaslight anyone who calls them out. If you care at all about animals, stay far, far away from Blue Sky Puppies.

The city came and condemned the entire building by Wednesday night and we all had to leave. One family has lost everything, the other 3 have lost their homes. While the roofing company and the HOA that hired them are trying to figure out who is responsible, 4 families are looking for a new place to live for the foreseeable future. No relief has come from the roofing company nor the HOA to assist with those efforts. However, I have to tell you all about the amazing people at Magic Pet in Baldwin Park who looked past how busy they already are during the Christmas season, and decided to help the people. As soon as our home was condemned, around 6:30PM Wednesday night, I walked to Magic Pet and told them what had happened and that we needed a place to take our 2 dogs and 2 cats. I told them I didn't know how long they would be there and we needed help. The owner looked at me and said, "Bring Them. Bring Them. We are busy, but we are a community and we are here to help our community. Bring them." I almost cried as one stress was immediately lifted with no questions - just compassion and a willingness to help. If you ever need boarding or grooming services for your pets, they have always treated our sweet pups well - and they are treating the humans well also. While the roofing company and HOA are trying to save as much money as possible and continue to hold someone else responsible for the immense damage, the wonderful owner of Magic Pet made room and DID something to help.
