I found his approach heavy-handed and, unsophisticated bordering on bullying -- a quick glance at the register would have confirmed I was a paying customer... The venue itself is charming with an eclectic design: superhero posters up front, a long row of small tables forming a communal table in the middle, and a bar with patio space in back. The ice cream and cappuccinos were solid and fairly priced, with courteous staff throughout. It's a nice spot with genuine mom-and-pop appeal. Perhaps if you're a family, your chances of being treated as a miscreant over the opportunity cost of a few hours use of a venue will decrease drastically and you can leave a rating unaccosted by someone set on pushing his weight around. Would have been at least a 4/5 otherwise.

The rainbow cookie mix is great on its own. Whether it was donuts, cookies or cheesecake, everything was amazing. We got a little bit of everything to try.
