Vice Doughnuts is a great addition to Farmingdale! I used to get their doughnuts from their truck when they would pop up all around Farmingdale so I was excited when they opened up a shop on the heart of Main Street it Farmingdale. This store is so cute! The colors are fun and there's tons of seating. The service is always fabulous. The doughnuts are fresh and tasty! There is something for everyone! Parking is either on Main Street itself or behind in the municipal parking lot. You will have to walk down the alley onto Main Street as the entrance is only in the front FYI. read more

Was craving for some donuts and decided to search Yelp and found this new spot. Super friendly and loved that they have a kids corner in the back with toys and books for kids to enjoy while parents enjoy coffee and donuts. The donuts are all cake based - the lemon poppy was my favorite. We also ordered coffee and a matcha and I'd probably say that I would pass on the drinks next time I come back. read more

We need more donut shops on LI. As much as I love the Duck Donuts, NOFO and Sundae, I needed some new blood. When I saw Vice pop up, I got excited. I heard about the truck but never saw it IRL. What a nice surprise it was when I saw a new spot pop up on my beloved Main St. Vice is cute. Their donuts are fun. The chai latte was delish. The donut and dough of the donuts was good. Churro one was our fav. Chocolate covered strawberry was good. The shop has tables and chairs to dine inside. There is even a kiddie corner where they have toys that's are great for toddlers. One person held down the fort for the shop and they were friendly and milf mannered. Was it my fav donut? No, but that's ok! It still a great addition to one of my fav parts of the Island. Just tried The Vice and wow -- I'm obsessed. The latte was seriously one of the best I've had in a while. They use Southdown coffee beans, and you can really taste the quality -- smooth, rich, and just the right amount of kick. Now let's talk donuts... I had the Cookies and Cream and Cookie Butter and both were absolutely insane. Perfectly soft, sweet but not overpowering, and just packed with flavor. Basically dessert and breakfast rolled into one. The barista was awesome and patient with answering all my questions! They even have an awesome kiddie corner! Hands down the best donuts I've had in a very long time. They have multiple options of flavors and I can't forget don't forget to paid your donuts with some drip coffee! I love that they have milk substitute. The milk choices were regular milk, half and half and oat milk. All their donuts are vegan. They also have gluten free options available. The donuts are $3 each or $15 for a half dozen. I chose to go with the half dozen so I could try more than one flavor. I got 2 of st Patrick special donuts, chocolate covered strawberry, churro, cookie butter and cookies & crème. Vice Doughnuts & Coffee on Main Street in Farmingdale, NY was open to day Sunday June 15th. I purchased 2 donuts and then the last 7 at 4pm. The later to give to neighbors for Fathers Day. Haley was a charming lovely server wearing a RIU shirt. She has been working there for a few months now and loves it. The place is clean and she keeps it that way. The doughnuts while not a big selection did have two specials, one with Maple frosting and one with Cherry frosting. I found the doughnuts and coffee fresh. There is a bulletin board with many adds actually worth viewing for activities in and around Farmingdale. Two young ladies came in to purchase and then post for their charity event coming up on Novemeber 24th this year. (see pix) The place is not that big but had that homey feeling and I was glad it was open as many of the other local places -? due to Fathers Day- had closed earlier than posted hours. The brick and mortar location at Farmingdale is bright, and surprisingly has a kid's playcenter in the back. They do offer a wide variety of flavors, from classic to fun filled, and even some joe and espresso. I decided on a classic strawberry glazed and was surprised by how good it tasted! The cake is nice and soft. And for natural ingredients, the frosting and sprinkles are so close to Dunkin's. I mean that in the best way possible. While eating dinner across the street we noticed this doughnut shop bustling with business and decided to forego dessert at the restaurant and pop in here instead. It's a small-ish place with some seating and a kids area in the back. It's not a relaxing atmosphere with a bunch of kids running around and screaming but it's good enough to grab a doughnut, a coffee, and be on your way. Prior to stopping by we had no idea their doughnuts were vegan! We love vegan baked goods so that made us more eager to try. We tried the cookies and cream and strawberry frosted doughnuts. Both were so good. So fluffy and light with just the right amount of sweetness to take it to the doughnut level! They are $3 each but well worth the cost considering how tasty they are. So happy they opened a storefront in Farmingdale!! I love that all of their regular doughnuts (not gluten free) are vegan as is and that they offer nondairy milk options for coffee. I've missed out on having doughnuts since being vegan and you wouldn't even be able to tell the difference. If you have a gluten allergy they use the same fryer for their non gluten free donuts. They also were originally opened in Massapequa. For a year they kept letting everyone think they were going to reopen once Farmingdale was established. I went to the Farmingdale location once in April and they said they were opening massapequa again in a week. Now they're saying they are officially closed. Farmingdale main street is annoying to find parking and the streets are too congested. My family and I used to love how local they were and would buy in abundance for parties and gatherings. Stringing everyone along who asked on their social media etc about the status of their original location was a turn off. We knew once they opened Farmingdale they stopped caring about Massapequa and they would ultimately close it. Why not just be honest about it? read more
