Good for ice cream - nice kids working so the service was good and attentive. Closed for the winter season.

We found this campground last minute. Super easy to book online. Beautiful landscaping, easy to…read morehook up and clean. Highly recommend. A little traffic noise as it is right off the 20 bypass.

Wow. I wish there was a rating lower than one star. Sadly, there's not. I made reservations…read moremonths in advance to fish on Monday, September 16 in Stanley, Idaho, on the Salmon River. The booking agent at Picabo insured me that my guide, Zack Mayhew, would pick me up in front of my hotel, Red River Inn, in Stanley, and that he would call me the day before my trip. Zack called me at 8:30 pm the night of the 15th, and basically told me that the river was "blown out", and not enough water to fish it from a drift boat. This was a complete fabrication, as driftboats on the 16th were going down the Salmon River from my vantage point. So, if I wanted to fish on that Monday, I could get in my truck and turn around and drive back down through the valley an hour-and-and-half to rendezvous with him. This is not what I signed up for. I never received any phone calls from the management at Picabo apologizing to me. I'm under the impression they don't even guide on the Salmon River. It is too far north for them. So I was left, after driving from Bend, Oregon, to Stanley, Idaho, with no guide. I called the fly shop myself the following day and got a young man on the phone who tried to make it sound like it was my fault and I misunderstood. Really? He told me he would tell his management staff about me being stranded in Stanley, but I never heard a word back. How sad they couldn't even take the time to reach out to me. I would never use them. -Mike M

Okay. So, when you enter, this place has such a warm and welcoming feeling. I actually went into…read morethe back door and stumbled upon about 4-5 moms and their babies in the super comfy back nook of the place - thought I was in the wrong place for a second - and the nice moms directed me toward the front of the house, which was just as warm and welcoming. I had the jackfruit tacos - which I don't believe I've ever had before - and they were delicious! Like pulled pork, if maybe a little less texture, but so good. Just the right amount of spice, loved them. Paired with a side salad, which had a very tasty mustard based vinaigrette; so fresh, so good! Then I just had to try this gluten free whoopie pie they had in the bakers display box. Just the right amount of sweet, the cookies of the pie were so soft, with a dusting of sugar. Tasted like Christmas! Price, a little high in my opinion, as I spent about $45 for just myself (3 tacos; salad; pie; drink) but the ingredients were clearly high quality and super fresh, so I still have to give the 5 stars. Good earth food that tastes amazing! Go check them out.

Highight was the turmeric based latte with oatmilk. Thick and tasty. I'm a fan of turmeric, but my neighbors aren't quite as much and they all liked it.
