This one was huge and a ton of well cooked hashbrowns. Only downside was no English muffin. The sourdough was a great substitute. Wife had finger steaks. Not amazing but still very good. For a Californian, you forget what a Smokey place bars used to be...and still are in a lot of states! That would be my only complaint here. The bar has a pool table and large dance floor. There is an electronic juke box, but everyone was watching the Olympics the day we were there. The bar was well stocked, but I'm pretty sure all the beers are in bottles or cans, didn't see any taps. But like I said, the mixed drinks were a heavy pour!

But apparently, that's hard for some people (like poor Lou in this comment section with 13 PEOPLE - like maybe go have a cookout at someone's house with a fat group like that on a Saturday in a small town?!!). Point being, any restaurant could struggle with that size of groups under those conditions. Anyway, this place made the BEST BLT I've ever had. It's melt in your mouth pork belly, fresh heirloom tomatoes, lettuce, aioli, golden brown bread...just a perfect chefs kiss. It was like smoked soul food. Also, my husband loved his burger with prime rib slices on top. They sure know how to do their meats! And our bar drinks were made deliciously. We aren't locals and we've lived in big cities. So believe me when I say, we really felt happy with the food, service and decor. The staff seems to work really hard and seem like good people - they deserve respect! We highly recommend this restaurant.
