Their scoops are about 1.5 x the size as you get at your other competitors and a better price. Two scoops cost $6. Their sundaes are decent size as well. In all my times service has been exceptional. Located in the marketplace of Graton Resort and Casino. The ice cream wasn't spectacular but it does the trick when you're looking for something sweet after inhaling all the cigarette smoke. Like all ice cream shops, you can sample their flavors until you find one to your liking. We ended up ordering the Mint Chocolate which was pretty standard. The chocolate chips were a bit hard and didn't have the velvety texture that I was expecting. The ice cream base wasn't overly sweet and was a bit too "iced" meaning there were still ice chips in the first couple of bites. The guy that served us was nice but it was obvious that it was the end of his shift and he was tired. With tax, it was about $5 for a single scoop. Average spot but nothing to rave about. read more

Whenever I go to Graton Casino with my family, I generally buy a 3-scoop cup of ice cream to share with my parents for $6, which I think is a really good price. My mom loves pistachio almond, my dad loves black cherry, and I love Huckleberry Heaven. I don't find their ice cream to be too sweet and every time I go there, they give us huge scoops plus great customer service. We will be back whenever we are at Graton and crave ice cream! read more

You stand in the line across the pathway (to leave space for people to walk) and approach the counter when they are ready. On a busy Sunday night, they have a few people working behind the counter, working efficiently to get guests through. There were two dedicated cashiers which I appreciated so they weren't scooping the ice cream and handling money at the same time. The scoopers were mostly fine. One of them put his face quite close to the ice cream. I think he couldn't see so he was getting close. I was thinking of the hygiene issues. I had a single scoop of the blue ice cream in a cup. We followed the Google directions and were taken to the Graton Casino. We found parking and walked towards the hotel. Scoops as many have pointed out has a fair share of Three Twins Ice Cream, but I cannot confirm if they just buy it from them or if it a joint ownership. Either way, there are plenty of flavors to choose from, some your average run of the mill pistachio, espresso, vanilla bean, etc. Then they over some wacky flavors, birthday cake, super sour gummies, etc (When I was there). I just went for a pistachio, as that is usually my go to at more creameries. The downslide really started with their staff who were either overworked or just flat out did not care about their job. When asked which was their favorite, I received a lackluster response of "They are all okay, no real favorite". Very small talk and obviously did not help me in my choice, so as stated above just stuck with my go to. Prices for scoops whether cone or cup are pretty pricey, and that is before you even start your add ons. To sum it up, yes it is not bad, but unless you are ice cream need at that moment, I'd wait as there are many better options semi nearby the casino. read more

HATE that it's located in the casino (not a fan of smelling like cigarette smoke). Luckily the smell is not present in the food court where Scoops is located, but the headache of walking through the smoke clouds to get there is quite a hassle. Scoops featuring Three Twins Ice Cream is located in the "marketplace" of Graton Resort & Casino. Located at the opening of the food court, it's not hard to miss and brightly and colorfully lit. They offer a few fun and unique flavors, such as: Strawberry Je Ne Sais Quoi, Dad's Cardamom, and Chocolate Orange Confetti. Aside from unique names, the flavors really aren't unique. Sure, the Dad's Cardamom tasted great, with an unusual spicy Cardamom kick, but the same can't be said for the other flavors. The Strawberry Je Ne Sais Quoi should be called Strawberry Plain Jane instead and the Lemon Cookie, Madagascar Vanilla and Vanilla Chocolate Chip flavors all tasted washed out and too underwhelming. If you are going to get something, you should stick to the chocolate and strong flavors (such as Cardamom) rather than the vanilla or white chocolate flavors since they are not flavorful. Too bad because I love vanilla and chocolate chip. Those two together? It could have been a good combo. Oh well, it looks like Three Twins won't be making it on my favorite ice cream list anytime soon. But this is a fun place to grab an ice cream cup or cone before you dive back into some gambling. Great tasting ice cream but kinda pricey for me. I couldnt decide on what kind of chocolate ice cream since they had a few to choose from. I wanted the mint confetti but they didnt have anymore. What a bummer. The girl that helped me was super nice. She let me sample the chocolate malt, bittersweet chocolate and the mexican chocolate. As a chocolate lover, I was dealing with a dilemma. I decided to go for a shake and basically you get two scoops of ice cream (you can choose two different ones!) Blended with milk and topped off with whipped cream for 7 dollars. I preferred the bittersweet chocolate and got two scoops of that. The shake was thick and creamy. It hit the spot since I was craving something with chocolate.
