amazing fast service very nice customer service. i ordered a mint chocolate chip and the chocolate chips were all over and inside the ice cream, every bite had both mint and chocolate chips not like other places that only put it on the top and nowhere else.

Ordered a medium aka a love it and they gave us a small inside a medium cup. Lol could've been a mistake the poor girls were working with the Ac broken and it was definitely horrible work conditions for them. Just thought this was slightly odd but I do wanna add the girls working were so sweet and helpful with recommendations!!!

Safeway- Ben and Jerry's and a Safeway brownie warmed up for the win!!

Mask mandate lifted (2022). Yet Coldstone here is still requiring masks and refused us service. Guess who didn't get our business? I will be spreading this info to my network of friends and family as well. We will not support businesses that discriminate customers and support a mask passport. Safeway next door came through clutch though! We bought Ben n Jerry's ice cream and an oversized brownie. We heated up the brownie and put BJs on top. OMG! Was better then Coldstone too!!

    Which one is it?

Insane absolutely insane. I ordered my cake ahead of time and it was confirmed and my husband goes to pick it up and the one sign on the door one door says they're closed for the holiday. The other one says they had to close early because of an equipment failure. Which one is right? All I can tell you is nobody bothered to call me to tell me to pick up my dessert earlier and it was my son's birthday and I had no birthday cake I had to go to Safeway. Safeway only had two2 pies left and that was it. As far as I'm concerned, I need my money back and they should pay for my pie too. I've called and emailed back to the company email address that. sent me the confirmation. And I've called and they told me I had to talk to the manager and they took my information and the manager is not calling me back. Do not count on them to do a cake on a holiday chances are there will be another equipment failure and no one will call you back.

Seriously, you might think pie is pie, but no, there's pie, and then there's pie from Petaluma Pie Company. Friendly employee and clean area outside the shop is well. So that's good. My only complaint is the eco-friendly fork they provide is absolutely awful. Not sure if it's a Petaluma requirement but real plastic forks would be much appreciated. Regardless, this place is a must-try!

I Spy With My Little Pie…read more This farm-to-table, locally-owned pie shop has been serving up both sweet and savory pie creations in Downtown Petaluma since 2010. They recently underwent an ownership change in 2024 from the OGs, but fortunately, instead of selling to a corporation, they sold it to an employee and his mother to help ensure the original ethos and quality remain intact. The Good: * Their pies are made with locally-sourced and organic ingredients bought from the local farmers market--as well as some fruit that they grow themselves! * Outdoor dog-friendly seating * As mentioned above, they have both sweet and savory pies. We only tried the sweet *oink oink* * Friendly service * Love that they have both full sized pies and smaller ones, so you don't have to commit to a big ol' pie. * We tried their Elvis (PB, banana, and chocolate) and their Black & Blue Crumble and they were both fabulous! I leaned a bit more to the B&B, as I absolutely adored that granola crumble on top, but the Elvis was no slouch either. The Meh: * Interior is small and very cramped. Definitely a grab-and-go type operation. The Ugly: * Parking in DT Petaluma can be a hassle, as it's street parking only, but at least it's free. Conclusion: Fantastic spot to scratch that 3.14 itch--and I'm always itchy!

What a cute downtown area, too, with a tattoo parlor, taco spot, and more all in a walkable distance. There's a parking lot next to the building and out front, so it's easy to get to. The shop itself is SO CUTE! It's decorated with lots of color and funky decor - such a good vibe when you walk in! Today there were hot chocolate bombs, cupcakes, cake cups, and of course lots of cookies to choose from. And the person behind the counter was so, so nice; I'm guessing the owner? I didn't feel rushed or uncomfortable and felt like I was just chatting with a friend. The cookies are HUGE! I loved that literally everything in the store is labeled, so you don't have to constantly ask "what's this" or "what flavor is that." There was a buy five, get one free cookie deal so obviously we had to get six plus a cupcake. It was about $40 but these cookies are at least 2-3 servings, so it's a great price. A few days later and we're still eating them, and they are still perfectly moist. My favorite was the snickerdoodle or the brown butter with a slab of chocolate on top! The cupcake was tiramisu flavored: a delicious moist vanilla cupcake with an espresso/chocolate flavored filling, fluffy frosting, and a soaked ladyfinger on top. YUM! You should definitely stop here! I know we will be back.

A lot of really nice boutique type shops with fine products and a brand new record store, Paradise Found which is quite fantastic. Steve: "Those were chickens?" Sam Shepard would've had a field day here. Some newer buildings made to look old with crafted Styrofoam façades. Some of my favorite people I've met in the last 30 years hale from here. And, a disappropriated amount have left this earth too soon. One of the best foodie destinations north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Superb coffee shops and bakeries, some award-winning. So, back in 1999 I took a wrong turn off the freeway and discovered Petaluma and the first place I went was the "Tea Room" and it's still pretty much as awesome as it was then. A real nice vibe, nicely decorated with some incredible pastries to include the orange cranberry scone as I recall, sold out today. My breakfast today was quite good with the walnut toast, and a huge portion of very large potatoes that could've been cut into smaller pieces and maybe I only needed one third of the portion. Dem tatters were 'nuff for four people. Great atmosphere, nice friendly staff, and a very pleasant ambience. There's mirrored signage that says TEA mounted high on the wall across from one another so as to appear as if it were a reflection. I personally can also see the word EAT in there every time I glance at it. I was told years ago that it came from an old Texaco gas station sign. It makes sense, check it out. On Western Avenue. I used to tell folks it's across from the pink Catholic Church rectory. That's been painted to a rather unattractive conservation brown. A lot of nice outdoor seating and cool shops nearby, check out next-door thrift shop and the ever remarkable Petaluma market around the corner, with superb produce display! Famous for cheese, wine, cider, breweries and happy cows! If you're coming from the south cut over through Fairfax to Olema and take the back road up to Petaluma which is a stunning drive!

She makes the entire experience unenjoyable and it's very frustrating because we are always nice and respectful, and we always tip very well. The straw that broke the camel's back for us, was when we came in and my husband and I were about to order and the place was super busy so no tables were currently open, and two gentleman offered their table to us because they were about to leave, and the lady at the counter snapped at me and refused to let us sit at the table because she thought we had pressured the men into letting us have their table (mind you, we hadn't spoken to them at all before they approached us) . I'm not sure what her issue is, but I have heard from other friends in town that they have had similar experiences with her and it's made them stop going there. Unfortunately, we won't be returning either.
