When I say my family loves Scoopys, I don't just mean on the hot summer days when everyone wants ice cream. I am talking when it's 40 degrees and windy in late November too. Scoopys has speciality flavored treats all year round, and we love to take advantage of them. When I say this was one of the best sundaes I have had in a while, I am not kidding. The cookie butter sundae had vanilla soft serve, warm melty cookie butter, crushed Biscoff cookies, and one giant Biscoff cookie, all topped with whipped cream and a cherry. It was DIVINE! I usually get the Nutty Nana or the Cannoli when I am in the mood for a sundae, but this one is a new fave for me and will make my decision making even harder. read more

We had a great first trip here last week! It was a rainy day and our more local outdoor spot was closed, but we had our hearts set on ice cream or water ice. Meaning we were really excited to see this place open and with such late hours (9:30 PM is late in the suburbs btw). Anyway everything we tried was great. Someone had a gelati with chocolate water ice and vanilla ice cream, it was so good they ate it before I could try any. I had a gelati with strawberry dole whip and lemon water ice that was so refreshing. The cannoli ice cream was also very tasty to us. I'm excited to come back and try more because they have quite a large menu. The staff was very kind even though we clearly didn't understand the best way to order. Tried Scoopys out for the first time last night. The line was so long, it took a while to get our ice cream. It seemed like they should definitely have more than 1 person taking orders. (Staff was friendly though). I got banana ice cream, and my fiancé got water ice. The banana ice cream was decent, but started to taste like vanilla after the first few bites. My fiancé enjoyed his water ice. It was nice that their picnic tables were located right by a little body of water. I would come back to try one of their sundaes instead- they looked pretty good. read more

He burnt my shake. Good prices. Takes longer than it should for one milkshake and it can be somewhat busy on weekends.

Great ice cream place close to home. People friendly and have a lot of varieties of ice cream and sundaes. I love they also have a pup cup with dog treat. Our dog Roman loved it. Will definitely be back for more. The Summer has just begun but then again it's never too cold for ice cream! read more

There is seriously something here for everyone (pups included)! The menu is MASSIVE - not only plenty of ice cream, Dole Whip, gelati options for all but also some fried food (reminiscent of fair/carnival treats). I'm a big fan of Dole Whip and my boyfriend typically picks either soft serve or gelati. There is no shortage of flavor options - it's truly astounding! For the dairy-free, there's an oatmilk ice cream which is not bad (I just prefer soft serve over it). And of the food, the fried mac and cheese is delightful. read more

I watched the owner yell at teenagers for giving me a carrier for my 3 ice creams. be nicer to your employees especially kids. you can tell you are the guy who has a high turnaround and blames it on people not wanting to work when you are just being a big d. kindness goes along way. first and last time going there. ladies, there are plenty of jobs who will treat you better and probably pay more money. I came to this location 4 different times and have yet to receive my ice cream. The wait here is just way too long and I hear all the excuses under the sun just to stall me out and make me wait even longer but i never get my ice cream as they let 20 people who ordered after me get theirs first. You know they're unorganized and cant handle the heat during rush hour when she looked at me and said " I'm making yours right now" then hands everyone else their order besides me! They got a lying problem amongst their staff! If i can give them 0 stars for below garbage customer service then i would in a heartbeat. read more

Great place to take the kids. They've got a huge selection of hand scooped ice cream and water ice. They have both an outdoor window to order, plus a large indoor seating area... which is nice for hot summer days since most ice cream places do not. Highly recommended! read more

Brusters is better period. Not a well ran establishment. I tried the cookies and cream ice cream, a simple flavor, and was disappointed. It did not taste right to me, and the four others with me agreed. It had a minty/toothpastey taste. I went back to the window to get a new flavor. The owner denied it could have tasted like anything other than cookies and cream and was frustrated to hear such a thing. I know, as a former employee of ice cream places myself, the simple procedure is to give the customer the benefit of the doubt. This was not the case here. read more
