I was dealt with very quickly even though there were others picking up bikes at the same time. Clearly the on-line preregistration was well worth the effort. The bike was in great condition, but it seems I was too late to get the ride of my choice. So let's hope they continue to grow and expand the options. They were super friendly, and made the process fast and easy. They gave us all necessary instructions on how to use the electric cart. For the price it's really worth doing to cruise around town for a few hours. You are able to drive on the street just like a car while following normal street laws. This also encouraged myself to buy one a cart once I do make the move down. Once we returned the cart and waited for an Uber outside. One of the employees came out and brought us some free waters since it was hot out. It's the small things we appreciate. When we come back down and want to rent a boat we will be using them for sure! The guys were very helpful and got me underway quickly. A helmet is provided for you (not required in Florida, but ... just take one, obviously) Bring some sun glasses - as eye protection is not optional and bugs or debris to the face can quickly mess with your ride. Costs are almost hard to believe, only $50ish for the weekend. Coupled to the facts that you can scurry and park much easier around town and to the beach, additionally the hotel I was staying at didn't charge for motorcycle/scooter parking, the return on investment is quickly realized. This was my first time on a scooter, and after the first mile or two the intimidation wore off. I found I could get around most of Fort Lauderdale without issue. Don't go on a highway like 95 or something, obviously. But most of the larger roads are not an issue on a scooter (S. Federal, 17th St, Broward, etc.) Yachty is located in a fairly industrial part of town with not much life around it but they are situated close to the intersection and cabs had no issue getting me there or a pick-up upon return of the scooter - garages, warehouse looking buildings nearby. On the upside, if you are unfamiliar with riding, you can use these mostly empty roads to practice a few turns. Overall, highly recommend using a scooter to get around if visiting for a few days, the cost of the scooter is easily cheaper than the number of cab rides you'd take to get around to see things, go to the beach, get to some better eats around town.

My Norton Fastbacks tank was a throw away.... Had a failed liner, a horribly failed liner. My…read moreresearch told me that no shop wants to repair a failed liner on a fiberglass tank. My mechanic found this company in Florida. I chatted with the owner. He was upbeat and optimistic. Said he can repair pretty much anything so I sent him my tank. I was hoping that I would have it in a reasonable amount of time. Admittedly it took several months but we talked regularly and he always reassured me that it was in process. George is a character, he does answer and return phone calls, he's always positive and boy will he talk your ear off. Well Yada Yada Yada, a couple weeks ago he called me, it was done, sent me photos of the finished product and a week later it was in my hands. The custom color paint was still perfect and the inside looks great. I am pretty sure his struggles dealing with this one cost him more than I paid him. But excited to have the bike back on the road!!

Complete waste of time and money…read more George is not a stable person. Rambled for hours and claimed he could fix my tank in days without messing up the paint. After disappearing for a month, I finally get a hold of him. Claimed my tank was finished and, depending on the day, was either in the "shipping department" (he works out of his garage) or loaded in his 53-foot semi truck (because he does 200 tanks A DAY). These claims kept going for weeks (see text screenshots). Lies so much that he forgets he's repeatedly given me the same excuse before. I asked him if I could pick up my tank in person he SNAPPED and began yelling and cursing. In reality he hadn't touched my tank and had no answer so that was his way out. Complete disrespect. After almost 4 months he delivers my tank, but the night before he found "new holes" that he patched up with globs of metal ON THE OUTSIDE. My original paint is ruined. Didn't even reassemble the tank and gave me the parts in a ziplock bag. When I asked him another question he snapped again and insulted me (I have it on video) and just led to another shouting match filled with a barrage of weak excuses and more lies. Horrible customer service, delusional compulsive liar, ticking timebomb, rude, nasty, and does HORRIBLE repairs. There's NOTHING good I can say about George. Look at the photos, read the texts, see for yourself. I could write pages about this horrible experience but Yelp has a word limit (check my Google Review for more). AVOID AT ALL COST.
