I didn't get the name of the barista, but she was sweet, friendly, and someone I'd hire, if I was running a business. In fact, there was a very elderly gentleman there who appeared to possibly have some form of dementia. if not, he seemed a little confused. Appeared she knew him, but she was so kind to him. Unfortunately, the Cappuccino was a latte. So many coffee places advertised Cap's, but they put 8 to 12 oz of milk. A Cap has foam only or very little milk and mostly foam. In this way, you get a taste of the espresso, but its tempered. Plus, that's just what a Cap is. If I want a Latte, I'll order that. Taste was fine, had I ordered a Latte. Yeah - it's a little weird but there is COFFEE ROASTED in South Dakota…read more I came about it by accident and was surprised at how distinctive the coffee is - and not in a "distinctive different" but "distinctive really high quality" way. So much so that I did a little digging - met the owners - and figured out for myself that their secret is roasting the beans in very small batches. The "organic and fair trade" thing - meh. I don't know if there's a difference here or not. But I do know that their coffee is extremely good, consistent and smooth. When it comes to coffee bought at a grocery store, Starbucks has one profile, Seattle's Best has another...and in a third point, Cherrybean is another - the varieties I've had are low-acid but full bodied - kind of like a Cabernet wine that's got huge first and mid notes but finishes quickly. I go through a bag a week and have had maybe...70 bags total. Highly recommended. :)
