The first, a coke was delivered instead of an unsweetened tea. Within 5 minutes after calling, the manager himself deliverd an unsweetened tea. The second, a bag of chips was left out if my order. After calling, two (if I remember correctly) bags of chips were delivered immediately. Not a bad track record for 10 years of service. This has to be the best sandwich shop operating in the Union/Washington area.

The only complaint I would say is they touch dirty bpa reciepts for call in orders and then touch the prep table and make the sandwiches. If you didn't know, the ink on receipts carry bpa which is a known carcinogen. I guess things could be worse.

What makes this one special besides the fact that they are almost always 5 to 10 cents cheaper than any gas station in St. Louis, is that it also has a small, but adequate grocery store in the back of it. I don't know how long it's been there, but from the looks of the grocery store part, I would say a long, long time. They also have fried chicken and Pizza. It is a nice stop along Hwy 50.
