From planning for months to our engagement session on Victoria Beach in Laguna, to our ceremony and wedding pictures, Scott and his team did an unbelievable job. Our ceremony was early in the day and the reception was much later so we had a gap between events. Instead of hiring one person for a 12 hour day, they arranged for Scott to do the first half and then Jared did our beach pictures and reception. It went so smoothly. Not only are Scott and his team professional, on time, and responsive, but also creative, artistic, and damn good at their profession. The engagement shoot was so much fun and we shot at so many unique locations on the beach. My hubby and I had no clue what we were doing (first photo shoot) but Scott gave us clear direction and got some amazing candid shots which were what we liked best. We haven't even gotten our wedding photos back yet (it was only 2 weeks ago), but I couldn't be more excited to receive them. Scott recently photographed our wedding in Silverado, CA. He was absolutely phenomenal. He arrived on time, dressed professionally, with all of his equipment. He already had a plan in mind with what photos he wanted to take around the venue and gave great instructions on how we should position ourselves. He was also very considerate and made sure my bride had plenty of water and kept kleenex on hand to wipe away any sweat without disturbing her make up. Met with him. All was alright. He appeared as a nice, calm person. He sent us the contract, my fiance signed it, and send it over to him. However, He never sent us back the signed copy, and we were so busy with everything that we didn't notice it for a month or two. Then our wedding planner found it strange that he has asked us to pay him the full balance at the beginning. So I sen him an email inquiring about it and this was his response. "I'm sorry I'm going to have to pass. I'm no longer available for your wedding." !!! Imagine the agony and the stress of having to start looking for a photographer again! That's certainly not an ethical way of doing business. He was either looking for an excuse to bail out on us, or he has extremely bad manners for someone who is in an Industry that involves dealing with people! Look elsewhere. Yes, his photos are beautiful, but of course reliability is the foundation for any service that one books for such an important day. read more

Of all of the many details that we had to address for our Wedding, selecting a great photographer was one of the most difficult. In that I have a background in photography myself, I understood how to interview for the assignment. First, we talked the "the wedding planners' short list of photographers. I found that they were prima donnas and priced way over the top. Having not only an art education but, having owned a production company was very helpful in seeing through the smoke and mirrors some of these people were putting up. We decided to look outside of the list for a real artist that I felt we could work with. After getting Scotts name and reviewing his body of work online, I contacted him. First, I found that he was down to earth and open to a creative dialogue about our interest and wishes. We came to an amicable agreement very easily. On the day of our wedding, he was there right on time and fully equipped and organized for the assignment. He and his assistant, seem to always be in the right place at the right time. I'm very satisfied with everything Scott has provided for us so far. In my opinion he is very reasonably priced for all the services he provides. For example, he spent all day with us for our engagement pictures, and on our actual wedding day, he stayed until the party was over to take some night photos. Scott photographed both our engagement session at Laguna Beach and our Dodger Stadium wedding. We were so blown away by his portfolio, we had actually made the decision to hire him before we had even met him. It was only after we contacted him that we discovered what an incredible PROFESSIONAL Scott is! He walked us through the process; helped us find other vendors; took AMAZING pictures; always communicated with us promptly; and, delivered all of our pictures ahead of schedule.
