Wow! First I want to say my girl did Amazing! No crying what so ever that is half the battle. First impression when we walked in was great! Staff greeted us the office ambiance and decor is Top Notch! Play area for the kids kept my little one entertained with the choice of playing on the 6 Ipads in the room, watching a movie on the huge TV or simply playing with the activity center. When we were called back we were escorted not just called. In my book this huge I think some business forgot simple fundamentals of customer service , not the case at Dr. Fishman's great Customer Service. We did Xrays first then went to the exam room. Dr. Fishman came in and great us and wow what a tall guy! Very charming and attentive. He showed us the 2 person technique for brushing teeth for uncooperative kids. Wish I learned this sooner. Dentist was all up in her mouth and not a tear or movement from my daughter....what...she is not that way with me. The hoops, song and dance I have to do just to brush her teeth and Dr. Comes in and perfect patient. Very happy with the outcome of her first visit. Then my daughter sat in the exam chair by herself and got a teeth cleaning ! I could not be happier, honestly was really dreading it. We left the office all smiles and my daughter became a princess! Dr. Fishman, is amazing. I don't ever write reviews or recommend anyone. He is so genuine and naturally great with children. My daughter has been there several times and this last she had to have cavities filled. He explained everything to me and his staff gave me options and all the information I needed to make the right choice for my child. My daughter (5) went in had her cavities filled and I knew she was in good hands, she was so calm & she was just comfortable with dr.fishman and his staff. She went in and came out just as I was told. Not to mention he called me later that day just to check on how my kid was feeling and if she was able to eat. I have a 9 month old and he even answered some of my questions about his teeth. He said they were there and would be coming out soon and not even a week later they cut. I wouldn't trust any other dentist with my kids. He was a great find and all the reviews tell you he's great, look no further. Dr. Fishman is so good at his job!! He has great bed side manners and his great attitude and confidence over powers the nervousness of the patients (or in my case, mines!) Took my 2 kids in for their regular check up and my daughter had 3 cavities that had to be filled and a possible crown. I was super nervous as my daughter has never had any real dental work done. I have been bringing my two children to Dr. Fishman since they we're both infants. Now my kids are 15 & 12 years old. The staff is Amazing and Dr Fishman is just an Angel. He truly cares for his patients, and us parents. He explains everything very well we're I was able to understand. My kids won't go with any other Dentist, even after they relocated. Honestly It did make it more difficult for me bc of the distance, but my kids have built a trust & relationship w/Dr. Fishman & Dr Gibson. I couldn't take that away from them. My son is 7 years old, and has severe Autism. Finding a compassionate and understanding team of Dentists to work on my child was difficult. I went to several pediatric dentistries before finding Dr. Fishman. Everything I was hoping for was provided with Dr. Fishman. From scheduling an appointment, to the check up phone call from Dr. Fishman does after the procedure. I must point out the patient woman who tried her best to take my son's X-rays, thank you for not giving up on us. And Dr. Carillo, he was beyond kind and patient with my son on our first visit and explained everything my son would require. The girls in the front desk, are professional and helpful despite the office being busy. The young woman in the front desk with dark dark wavy hair, was accommodating, offered us a water bottle. On the day of the procedure, Dr. Fishman greeted us with the same big, bright smile you see on his website; like if we were his family and couldn't wait to take care of us. Dr. Park was wonderful and understanding with me, answered all of my "overly protected" mom questions. The office, is always clean, beyond kid friendly, the play area isn't cluttered, very organized and appealing. My only minor complaint- wish the iPads worked. Other than that, I am relieved to have found this office for my son and I look forward to returning to Dr. Fishman for many years. read more

The best place for your little ones, I was also referred here by my general dentist and it was one of the best dentists I have taken my kids to. You know it is good when your kids don't want to leave. From my 12 year old to my 2 years old, there was entertainment to sustain them the entire time, the staff is wonderful and gentle and the Dr is amazing. They have made the dreaded dentist experience into an extremely pleasant one. We found a home, and we are here to stay, I would recommend this dental office to anyone with children you will leave satisfied. Oh and the wait time? Piece of Cake! I highly recommend Dr. Fishman! My older son was treated for tooth decay at age 4 and since his initial treatment he has had great check ups. He has not developed anymore cavities and he is now 6. The idea of sedating a child for dental treatment sounds scary, but Dr. Fishman and his anesthesiologist put my mind at ease. When my son's dentist told me that my 3 year old son had tooth decay as well I asked her to make a referal to Pediatric Dental Arts because I trust Dr. Fishman and his staff. Took my little one today for her first visit. It wasn't packed (today's a Thursday). My daughter loved this place! The staff were very nice. The Dr. was great. Since my daughter's teeth are good, he praised us both for her awesome teeth. The visit was nice overall, she got X-rays and a cleaning as well. There was a screaming child somewhere in there and they bumped up the music to mute the yelling. It worked. The kids didn't notice. I would definitely recommend bringing your kids here. 4 seems to be the magic number for Dr Fishman! He said that my son had four cavities and needed sealants. 4=sedation and high anesthesia cost. I've been here in the past with no issues. But this time, I had a gut feeling that something was wrong, that We were being taken advantage of . Boy was I right, second opinion stated my son had no cavities. Within a years time and fighting with my husband who completely trusted Dr. Fishman, he finally agreed with me that Dr. Fishman was, IS all about the money!! Unnecessary treatments, putting to sleep for every fricken type of dental work!! Lesson learned at a high cost, my babies teeth :( but thankfully we found a dentist who genuinely cares about the well being of our baby and is not all about the $$$ nor will be suggesting at any point in time to put her to sleep!! I really love this dental office for my son. I found this place just by googling and thought I'd give it a try. So much better than the office my son previously went to. The prior dental office always found something that my son needed work on. I started to second guess all these procedures he "needed". The last visit the dentist had said he had a cavity and needed it filled. Well I never returned and decided to bring him here. I can't believe I almost forgot to give a review. This place is excellent. I took my son here to get some cavities filled. After dealing with a nightmare from the pediatric dentist I took him to prior to this trip, I was very nervous about our visit. The staff was extremely friendly. The waiting area was nice, could use more seating maybe but still, really nice. My 8 year old has always gone to my dentist. He has never had cavities till this year. The woman taking his X-rays was super nice. She made him feel comfortable and joked with him. The dentist was nice as well. He fully explained the procedure and time it takes for everything. We made our appt for the fillings a couple days later. They give him a flavored shot of medication that basically sedates him. The only thing the dentist did wrong was give my son the strawberry flavor instead of the chocolate flavor (either way, I'm sure it would've been gross lol) It wasn't supposed to put him to sleep but it did. Score!!! A short while later, they had us bring him in so they could strap him down and started working. The dental assistant noticed I was nervous and checked in with me every few minutes. He slept the whole time. After everything was done, they explained to us exactly what they did just to go over it again. Fillings were beautiful. I was extremely pleased with the service we got here. My son wasn't traumatized and nether was I. I would gladly recommend this dental office. read more

Over all excellent!!! This was my 5 yr old sons first time at any dentist and it was a great experience. Wait time in the lobby was about 10min. The xray tech was very friendly and sweet,after the x-rays she walks you to the waiting room for the Dr. And he came in very quickly in about 2 min he was analyzing my sons x-rays with me. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He made sure to answer all my questions, and gave me a run down of what to possibly expect for my sons teeth in the future. His assistant then performes cleaning, it took her about 10 min and that was it. Total time for x-ray and cleaning about 45 min. I highly recommend Dr.Fishman. read more

Scott Fishman is great!! Always a pleasure to talk too and most importantly, takes care of my kids like they are his own. Do I trust him, absolutely! and trust is not something I take for granted! My 7 yr. old son just had 5 teeth pulled, and as always Dr. Fishman did a fantastic job communicating why it needed to happen, allowed me to ask questions without being rushed and showed me before and after pics of other similar patients. In addition, he walked me through the steps again just before the procedure, gave me a quick update during, filled me in on the details after and went through the expectations for the rest of the day. He finished up with again giving us the opportunity to ask questions. I called him 3 hours later with a question he had already answered once and answered it again without any ill will. He called us at the end of the day to check on my son and yet again asked us if I had any questions. Yes, this really happened! You simply cannot get better service then this!!! Do not go anywhere else!!! BTW...I should of set the stage by telling you that I interviewed (ok drilled) him and the ortho 2 years ago when we were looking for a pediatric dentist. Since being referred to Dr. Fishman's office, we've experienced great service from front office staff to back office. My primary dentist initiated a next day referral to this office because of my 4 year olds cavities. My husband and I were explained in detail about the procedures that needed to be done and our options as far as anesthesia. All of my questions were answered, without feeling pressured about using a certain type of anesthesia. I was very concerned about choosing general anesthesia. I wanted to ensure that it would benefit my son, without complications. I had read news reports about children not waking up after overdoses from too much anesthesia. The dental offices were not properly equipped with trained personnel or medications to reverse anesthesia. When I was told that an anesthesiologist would be present throughout the procedure, that was very reassuring. I did not mind paying out of pocket expenses, knowing that my son had an anesthesiologist monitoring his condition. Unfortunately, he required a lot of dental work that would have taken many visits, that were completed in one visit. Needless to say, the procedures took place yesterday and it went very smoothly. I received a phone call from the anesthesiologist the day before, asking about any pertinent medical history and instructions before surgery. I am very happy with the service provided to my son and the excellent work done on my son's teeth by Dr. Fishman. I definitely would recommend this office!! read more

My daughter has been coming here for 5 years now. Dr. Fishman and staff are awesome. Professional, friendly, honest etc. I noticed a few negative comments regarding the fees however what price can you put in great quality work and especially for your child. We love Dr. Scott Fishman and the whole staff. They are very patient with everyone, and attend to meet everyones needs. I personally love the way they calm the patient's down when they are afraid and how professionally they keep everything hygienic. They attend to carry a strong bond with each patient that walks through the doors. They also have everything a child likes to be entertained, while waiting to be called or during the treatment. My Niece and Son love going here, so if u need a great dentist for your children this will be the spot... We have been with Dr. Fishman since 2008 and we were recommended by our brother. The assistants were amazing and were able to get my daughter to do the x-rays and more. After that was done, they contacted me promptly with a plan and estimate of how much my services would cost (which was very reasonable). With Dr. Fishman, I felt confident that my daughter would be in good hands. The staff was kind enough to give me constant updates while my daughter was having her treatment which gave me peace of mind! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! I found this dentist on yelp and saw what great reviews and comments they had. This was my 4 year old son's first dentist appointment. The place was clean and nice, staff was friendly. However they did my sons X-rays and told me he has 4 cavitives. I was shocked to hear 4 cavities! So they told me they needed to use sedation "laughing gas" to clean his teeth as well as do his fillings for the cavities. I was nervous to hear them tell me my son needed to be sedated for a teeth cleaning and fillings. They gave me a print out at the front desk of how much it'll cost out of pocket. The laughing gas price was ridiculously high. And they told me they had a last minute opening for tomorrow morning "what a coincidence" and they would give me $150 off the sedation if I took that appointment. So I made my appointment for the following morning. I left the office and just felt the 4 cavities sounded unreal, being my son doesn't eat much sugar. So I called my OWN DENTIST and asked if I can take him right now to get a second opinion. My dentist did X-rays and CLEANED my sons teeth with no sedation needed! NOW FOR THE Drum roll pleaseeeeeee...... my dentist went on to tell me my son has NO CAVITIES!!!! I asked him are you sure? He said yes and checked his X-rays that his office took and checked his teeth and said there are NO CAVITIES. Please parents don't bring your children to this disgusting place that just want your money and sedate your child for any dental work. The workers and staff are friendly so us parents can look past the scamming going on in this dental office. I will be reporting them to the better business bureau "BBB" read more

Place is well decorated and well maintained. Staff is very curteous and friendly. I did wait 30 mins after my appointment to be seen, but the doctor spends quality time with you. They are extremely friendly with children. Update: so this place is expensive and they try to charge u for things not needed( cash,stating that insurance won't cover). For example to do fills on teeth that do not need them because they're baby teeth and will fall out regardless. Plus over a lot of money for the doctor to bring in a specialist to put your child to sleep for the procedure. That was a red flag so I took my soon elsewhere. read more
