They do their best to work with your schedule and the overall quality of the office and staff is amazing. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I read a review that said "Money hungry" and I couldn't agree more. I started my treatment with Dr. Choi in March 2021. She told me I had an overbite and some crowding and that my treatment would consist of two years. Great. The first few months I saw great results but during each appointment nothing was communicated from Dr Choi to me regarding my progress or what they would be aiming to fix that month. She would speak to her techs in medical terms that were alien to me. Fine. I trusted her. Her techs would complain about the quality of the tools that were available. A lot of the times making it difficult for them to quickly and efficiently removes brackets, cut wires etc. A year and a half into my treatment I felt like my teeth looked the same. No major changes and my teeth were nowhere near straight! AND each month I went for my appointment no major changes were made to the wires or bands. I spoke to her about it and she said "your teeth are not moving." It's her job to take the proper steps to insure they move. My teeth are not going to magicallymove if she keeps doing the same thing each month. Three months before my two year mark with her I went into her office and spoke to her about my progress. I asked about my overbite which suddenly she didn't recall mentioning at the beginning of my treatment but somehow she said that was fixed. When? Who knows. She showed me pictures of what my teeth looked like when I first started as in saying "you should be happy your teeth look better than before." I'm paying you so my teeth are straight not better than before. I expressed the lack of communication coming from her end and she said "am I suppose to communicate during each appointment what we are doing?" in a laughing matter to which I responded "yes." And she laughed. I said to her "if you don't see a problem with your lack of communication then I have nothing else to say to you." Further more I mentioned how I wasn't happy with my progress and how the two year mark is three months away. My molars weren't aligned with the rest of my teeth. Some of my teeth were more forward than others. I asked her for a new estimated time frame and she said six months. Of course I wasn't happy but fine. I went and got a second opinion and they were concerned with the treatment that I was being provided but that I would have to pay them if I wanted to start a treatment with them. At this point I had finished paying off Dr Choi's office. When I spoke to Dr Choi said she was being conservative because of my teeth's roots. Fast forward to the June 2023 the new estimated date of completion... STILL my teeth are nowhere where they are suppose to be. We kept going back and forth and she told me "go get a second opinion if you'd like." To which I responded "You already took all my money! Are you going to refund me so I can have them fix my teeth?!" At this point I was FURIOUS. I was pregnant and my due date was approaching and she tried to blame my pregnancy for my need to be done with this treatment. My treatment completion date was suppose to be March 2023! Not December 2023! At this point I didn't care and just asked her to end the treatment because she couldn't get my teeth to where I wanted them to be. I ended up getting my braces officially taken off the end of February 2024 and I was NOT HAPPY with the end result. Save your TIME and MONEY and go to an Orthodontist that actually knows what they are doing and COMMUNICATES with you. The staff is nice. Receptionist are nice as well but that means nothing if you aren't happy with your smile at the end. read more

When you worsen a condition, bill the person, take there money and just say you're no longer my patient it's the most disgusting thing a "professional" can do. This ortho needs to be stripped of her license and degree. She shaved my tooth, with much hesitation from me, and than put a retainer where 3 other dentists/orthodontists said that it broke because she put it in the wrong place and any competent professional wouldn't have done that. Before coming to Paramount Orthodontics I had gone to Western Dental to get a qoute for my son's braces. We had a horrible experience, dirt office, waited for more than an hour in the front waiting area, and about 30 min inside the exam room to just get an exaggerating qoute.
