I had a very bad experience. I went to ofir orthodontics sometime ago for metal braces, and during the consultation he told me I had to remove my wisdom teeth for metal braces. I didn't want to get my wisdom teeth removed at the time, so he said I needed to remove my bottom right bicuspid, and then he can help me. He put in the referral, and one of my premolars was removed. He removed one tooth. I found out that what he did was gross negligence, and since the statues of limitations have expired, I can't sue him. Today my bottom teeth are misaligned because I have a missing tooth because of what he did. Don't go to him. He's unethical in his work. Otherwise, you may be risking your health. read more

If you're considering jaw surgery I would not recommend Dr. Ofir's office. I was debating between regular ortho and jaw surgery combined with ortho to fix my overbite. I initially decided on regular ortho but was not happy with the results so decided to opt into jaw surgery since my insurance would pay for the surgery. When my surgeon asked Dr. Ofir for imaging for surgery he was not pleased with the mock-ups provided my Dr. Ofir. Because he needed more sophisticated imaging he referred me to an ortho who could provide them. I cancelled with Dr. Ofir and cited the reasons why (he wasn't able to perform at the level I needed). I had been paying monthly and I was still left with a bill due to contract. I understand that was part of my contract but if he couldn't perform at the level I needed I think I shouldn't have been billed. In the end I'm happy I went with a different ortho. **Edit/update: In response to Ofir's office contacting me and claiming they have no record of me being a patient, I included a statement with one of their charges from their office. The fact that instead of taking responsibility for their part in the situation they decided to deny I was ever a patient is very telling. I still stand by my initial review. read more

Thank you Dr. Ofir and all of the staff for taking care of my teeth/smile and making it what it is today. Everyone is friendly, professional and work efficiently. I always found it so cute that they decorate their office for holidays as well. Scheduling is also pretty straightforward and they always have good availability so you're not struggling to make an appointment. For the price I'm paying for this invisalign treatment I would have expected better service. Initially I was told my invisalign would arrive on a certain day. I received a call the day I was to go in that my aligners was late. I have 3 small kids finding someone to watch them is not easy. So I had to rearrange everything last minute. When I actually went in the Wait was long and the person helping me was super rude and what almost seemed bothered to help. Mind u I've waited a long time in my life to afford something like this and this was a very exciting day for me. Luckily a second person came to finish and she was way nicer and helpful. I wish the dentist would have been more involved prior to prep so I could ask questions. This in total is costing me over 5k with insurance. Really wish staff was more aware of their attitudes. The girl who assisted me after the 1st girl was like they want you to move but we won't. Really hope this will be worth the result. Next time I will definitely get different consults for my kids.
