Same deal if I bring something in and I'm not sure what it needs -- he'll explain it in a normal way, give you real advice, and never makes you feel pressured to spend more than you planned. Back again to get a watch for my son. Nobody can seem to get this model but Scott sure can. Totally 100% satisfied with the guidance I get from Scott and Howie. The store is very nicely loaded with merchandise and we are always able to get what we want even if it needs to be ordered. The staff is all pleasant and helpful. Do not go to Scotts Jewelers if you value your jewelry. My wife went there for a repair and they threw out part of the bracelet and didn't repair it. The owners exact words were sue me for the missing part. Stay away from this terrible place. Howie You did a great job omitting many of the key facts. Like how you lost an eye of the bracelet and never took responsibility for it. Also that you changed our story about losing the eye mid way during the interaction. How would you expect someone to react if they were treated like a liar when the blame falls solely in your hands. For you to say sue me for the piece you and your team lost is completely ridiculous. Instead of going on here and discussing the reactions of people maybe you should go back and look at the camera to see what happened to the eye to confirm that it was indeed your fault and take responsibility for it. How threatened to show a video which I don't think he would want to show people that video because they would walk the other way when they see how you treat female customers. To curse out a female customer in a store full of employees all of which are female is great customer service. That's right it was a store full of employees with no other customers inside. I have been going to Scott's jewelers for over 20 years . I cannot say enough wonderful things about their customer service. The jewelry is beautuful obviously. If you want something and they don't happen to have it in stock ,they will make it custom or get it for you. Scott. Howie and Jamie are terrific. However I am going to sing Jamie's praises. Horrible place to fix or repair anything. I brought in a Rolex submariner to switch out a bracelet. The repair man ruined my clasp. After I brought my watch back to fix the clasp, the owner said he wouldn't honor it. Bent my clasp with pliers in front of me and wouldn't repair it after his guy didn't do the job I paid for. I didn't feel like bringing litigation because it would cost me more than the trouble itself. I would NEVER go back there after years of patronage. They don't care about their clients. Very unprofessional employees. Thought it would be a great idea to buy our wedding rings here, lady measuring my ring, sized it wrong and went down a whole size. That's just to start. The owner (I guess), said he would order it for me and would call me when it arrives, that was two weeks ago. Just called, spoke with some rude, RUDE woman over the phone, asked about my purchase, her answer... "I have no idea what your talking about, let me get your number I'll call you back." - Seriously, are you (explicit word) kidding me?! After I kindly said no, I would like some help now, hence you not knowing anything my purchase, she simply says I have other customers to attend to. Jesus... I run a business, if my employees spoke with one of my customers like that, oh you bet there would be some serious repercussions. Guess who will be returning their purchase today? After going in to discuss what is going on with my ring, I come to find out the rude person on the phone was the owners sister. I go in to see if I can pick up my ring and to no avail. The lady starts arguing with me AGAIN, about why she was right and I was wrong. I thought the last I checked I was the customer, no? To top it off, the owner comes over, defending his sister instead of addressing my concern, he starts to argue with me as well. I told him, if I can't get my ring and you guys do not contact me I'll just get my refund. His reply "Good luck buddy on getting your refund, you're getting nothing." Wow... Talk about a stand up guy! Class act. They take your money at first with their no refund policy and than they treat a customer like crap after. If you are reading this review, do yourself a favor and do NOT go here to buy any of your personal needs. The owner doesn't deserve any business for the way he treats his customers. There is a GREAT jewelry store, not too far away, they are awesome! I use them all the time for my kids bracelets and necklaces and my watches, Pavilion Jewelers, 1701 Kings highway, stand up guys. The person who does the ear piercing told my wife that no appointment was needed and to come any day between the hours of 12-3. Here we are on a Saturday to get my daughters ears pierced. She's been waiting for this. Now he is saying that they don't do piercings on Saturday's. it's not exactly busy and the lack of customer service is apparent. ....long time ago I bought movado watch (water-resistant) $800 after few weeks i noticed water spots under the screen, my guess this was from taking shower with the watch since i was not swimming with it. I came back to the store- they repaired it, however after a month or so the same thing happened i and kind of lost interest.... 6 years later ( decided to try them again) I came back to Scott Jewelers and bought baraka bracelet $600, 3 days later it started to rip! I came back to the store to get $ back but NO chance. They took a bracelet for repair ( 3-4 days later nobody bothered to call me back ). The bracelet was somewhat "repaired" but it did not look like 1 week old bracelet and definitely NOT looking like $600 bracelet at this point. The owner and his brother are NOT good dealing with returns or repairs. If you are unlucky to buy some FAKE item in this hole - you are out of luck. avoid this place! read more

My first experience is similar to Bonnie and James and John. I brought in a bracelet to get it fixed and they stole a link instead of fixing it. When i politely asked how much an 18 gram gold bracelet would be worth i was shocked to hear that it at best they would give me 18 dollars or better yet i should take it to a pawn shop. i tried to give them a second chance and bring a diamond ring to get resized. the jeweler informs me these are not all diamonds i know this ring was purchased through a legitimate dealer and i asked a question i was again told it is worthless and to go to a pawn shop. i have never experience such arrogant and condescending treatment. They treat customers like inferior crap. Never trust them to sell you anything authentic, get a second opinion or better yet never go there. read more

It was hard just to find a place with the right size, let alone good color and clarity. You can find H color diamonds, but rarely F. My wife and I traveled from Philadelphia to Scott Jewelers on Saturday. They are one of a handful of stores in the U.S. that carry Baraka men's bracelets. We were pleased with the large selection and Jaime was extremely pleasant to deal with. I bought 2 bracelets at a very good price. A rose gold and champagne diamond ring caught my wife's' eye and we purchased the very unusual ring for her. I wouldn't hesitate to go back again, even with the 4 hour trip.
