I didn't have much hope of getting the help I needed.Other dentists had given me little hope of my ever getting a denture or other procedure that would return me to at least a somewhat normal set of teeth in my mouth. Let me say...I have lived in 5 states in my 73 years. I have never been treated as kindly and professionally as I was today. After, embarassingly, having only 2 front teeth remaining in my upper mouth, I not only walked out with some temporary teeth; but, more importantly; hope. The hygienist, Debbie, could not have been more knowledgeable, caring, and reassuring to me. Have a lotta work to do; but I have confidence in Dr. Miller; only regret is I didn't go here at first. I was in tears when I walked through Alamont's doors because I was afraid of being hurt again. They were wonderful! Dr. Shipley is the most patient, friendly dentist! And he knows what he's doing! He did my root canal on short notice ON NEW YEARS EVE because I had an abcess. My hygienist is Amy. She's so good! She's smart and gets the job done while making me feel as comfortable as she can. Don't go anywhere else! This group will fix you up without selling you a bunch of services you don't need. If you call ahead of time and ask if they take your insurance, they'll tell you up front. There were no surprises!

He is very good, he takes care of my teeth so well. He listens to my concerns (if I have any) and addresses them to put my mind at ease. The hygienist are also excellent. The lady in the scheduling and payment department is also nice and sweet. I highly recommend this practice.

I just called to get an appointment and was asked what insurance if any. Yes I replied I have insurance. Said I have... . The receptionist replied we don't have room for Medicare united health after asking if I had united though my employer. As she tried to word it had I had anything other than Medicare insurance I would get an appointment. So I said so its not the insurance company, you just a problem with people in Medicare. After the total polite conversation it was a PREJUDICE OF OLDER PEOPLE who has worked all there lives to be turned away for not being able-bodied anymore. I know I am not the only person this has happened to by these people.

I was not contacted about this apt and because of her mistake I was dismissed from her dentist office and all my future appointments were taken away. I have Medicaid and it's about impossible to find a dentist that accepts it in Bristol and even the ones several miles away which is only two are not accepting new patients. I think it's very unprofessional. The secretary is very rude and because of her mistake I do not have a dentist. But besides that you should not be taken off the list completely for your other scheduled appts that are made a year in advance. I'm giving her one star only because I have to give her one. I would give a minus ten stars if possible.
